Travelers Rest / N Greenville KOA Holiday

Wonderful campground. (And I’m picky). Normally we aren’t fans of KOA’s, but this one is exceptional. Owners were so nice and friendly. They went out of their way to help us when we lost our truck keys 7 miles away from our campsite. Not sure any other campground owner would do this.
The sites have lots of room around them so we felt like we had lots of privacy. I don’t think there is a bad site here. We are here in late November and it’s beautiful, can’t imagine how it would look when the leaves are at their peak. Definitely going to come back…this time with a spare set of keys 🫤.

Got lucky to get a site kind of last minute due to other plans not working out, and I'm very happy I did. Great location, sites are spaced well and level, all hook ups worked with no issues. First campground I've ever stayed at where the Wi-Fi worked well! Good thing too, because there is absolutely no cell signal otherwise. Front office was also very nice and accommodating.

Finally got a deluxe cabin after trying numerous times. It is so cute and full of everything needed (kitchen, bathrooms, etc.) Ms. Sam at office/ store is super sweet, helpful, and friendly. Eugene is very hospitable and eager to share tips and local info. Well maintained facilities. Beautifully decorated for fall and Halloween.

KOA: Travelers Rest is absolutely amazing! It was my first time with my children and it was fantastic. Everything was perfect and to the letter in description. Sam and Eugene were super friendly, nice, and helpful to just make the overall experience magical for my family. You guys are the best! We will be returning for future stays!

Loved staying here in a covered wagon. It was so comfortable and spacious plus the managers, Terri & Bill, are so, so nice and helpful. You can tell they love their job. We also really enjoyed the cornhole, little free library, playground, nature trail, horseshoes, and steer roping game. The entire campground is clean and well taken care of. The bathhouse is a bit of a ways from the wagons but it's nice and private. I'd love to go back here again - the location is ideal for hiking and all things outdoors!

Really enjoyed our fall color stay in a knotty pine cabin with full bath that includes a full size kitchen & gas fireplace. All linens furnished. Large porch incl a Weber Gas grill & overlooks a babbling brook. Charming!

Adorable campground! The sites are spacious, everything is so well kept and the owners are nice as can be. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back!

Sam was so helpful with places to go and things to see. Eugene with pointers on the sites. Loved seeing them everyday! The campground was very pretty and clean. We will be back!

The hosts are helpful and friendly and the grounds are immaculately kept. There is a stream behind most of the campsites. The location is perfect:close enough to town for essentials and recreation, but far enough out to feel secluded.

We stayed in a wagon for a weekend and we had a great experience. The campground was clean, well-maintained, and had a lot of amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for exploring the nearby attractions and enjoying the natural beauty of the area.

Cabins are wonderful! The grounds are beautiful! We will definitely be back and will tell our friends. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

We stayed at this KOA twice, once in March for 2 weeks and for 1 month in August. The new owners and operators of this KOA are doing an excellent job keeping the grounds and facilities clean, they are all very helpful and friendly, and are planning to expand this campground over time. The sites we stayed in have been in the very back, the middle and next to the office in the front, and we have enjoyed all of them. Surprisingly, you cannot hear the road noise in any of the spots.

They have a nature walk, where I saw many interesting fungi and other flora and fauna. Up near the main laundry and pool are games for kids and a playground as well. If you are looking for a pleasant stay near Travelers Rest and Greenville, I highly recommend this campground. It is one of the most positive experiences we have had staying at campgrounds during 14 months of traveling.

We absolutely loved this place! Loved the cabin with a creek view. Extremely clean. Everything we needed. Not too far from stores and restaurants. Staff super friendly and welcoming.

Very nice and peaceful rv site, backed up to small stream and forest. Great Internet!!!! I'm used to no or very slow internet at RV parks, KOA has high speed Internet available for $5 a day and it is a God send for me. I love my RV site, very relaxing and quite. I'm on a cross country RV trip and this has been the best park by a long shot so far, I love it!

We had a wonderful time at our stay at the Travelers rest KOA. Not only was the staff super friendly and informative but always available to help. They even gave us some fresh eggs from the management property at the back of the campground! The campground is very clean as most KOA’s are. The grounds are very well manicured. It would be awesome to have some grass at the dog park especially after rain it was pretty muddy and we didn’t utilize it as much as we usually do with our dog. Other than that the campground was beautiful and shady trees and we really enjoyed ourselves. The nature trail was a really nice walk and not too difficult for most people. We enjoyed the outdoor games. My daughter loved the gem mine experience. We will definitely be back!

Easy big-rig access. Staff very friendly and helpful. Campground very well maintained. Definitely on the list of KOA Campgrounds to return to.

We stayed in the covered wagons. Exceeded our expectations by a long shot. The site was extremely clean and the staff were amazing. We loved our little getaway and will most definitely be returning.

We stayed 2 nights at Travelers rest KOA, we really enjoyed our time here. The whole campground was extremely well kept and very clean. The sites are large and each one has its own concrete slab (nice for those rainy days). Our son really enjoyed the pool and playground. The staff was extremely friendly and there to help with anything you need. Bathrooms and showers were kept in great condition and obviously cleaned regularly. This is a great KOA!!!

Bill and Eugene could not have been nicer. The park is located along a small stream. Most all sites back up right to it. The utilities could have been more central, but that's minor. The pool looked awesome. But we did not have time to enjoy it. We where visiting friends and that took up most of our time. The entire staff where friendly and helpful. We will stay there again if we come back this way. 5 stars for the eastern states RV parks.

Great campground. Peaceful and quiet
All areas well kept and the staff is fantastic. Please don't go to this jewel of a campground because it makes it difficult for ME to get a reservation. Lol. Don't miss this beautiful spot.
