Auntie Kim's Pound Cakes

This place is extremely welcoming when you walk in, the staff are very friendly and are eager to answer any of your questions. I was looking for a gluten free option and they had one ready to go, like that was the norm for them. (That made me feel even more like I was in the right place.)
The cake was everything that a delicious pound cake should be! I can’t tell you how many dry, crumbly, overly Almond flavored, gluten free cakes I’ve tried, but this was none of those things! I loved it, and will be back soon!!

Wow. These pound cakes are so decadent. And not at all like commercial ones you might find at starbucks or any other big bakery. I ate the coconut and gluten free lemon pound cake, and they were delicious, and aromatic. Coconut one had coconut flakes in it, not just flavouring. They are dense and soft and moist all at the same time.

If I could give this place 100 stars I would!!! The Christmas cake and lemon cake tasted amazing... everyone loved it for Christmas!!! I found this spot on Saturday 2 days before Christmas and called and were so friendly over the phone (Mark) answered my questions. My husband came and picked it up and he said he was so welcoming and caring it was awesome! Definitely have a customer for life. I will be buying for every holiday/celebration. Tasted amazing and I love when businesses are welcoming!! Thank you ,y'all won't be disappointed!!!!

My husband brought home a brownie and lemon pound cake today. I tried them both and was amazed at the taste! I am very picky about pound cake and I am in love with both flavors! He has been telling me about her opening up and it was worth the wait! Everyone should try these cakes and the presentation is beautiful!

Amazing Pound Cake, Great Family Business. If you insist on better baking, and are willing to pay for it, this place is a must. I dont like sweet cakes, with toppings icing or filling. I tried only a very plain pound cake, and it was very flavorful. I could be wrong but I think the sour cream adds the depth to the flavor here. Ill be back.

Run, don't walk to Auntie Kim's!! You are first greeted by the aroma of these delicious Pound Cakes when you first open the door! Mr. Boyd acknowledged me from the back and was promptly there to assist. He walked me through all of their products and taste profiles. I can tell you that Auntie Kim's has a pound cake flavor for EVERYONE!!! All made from scratch, with love from their family recipe!! They offer slices and whole cakes. I went with a slice of coconut and a Oreo Cookies & Cream!
The decor was simple, yet elegant and approachable. Take a moment to check out the photos on the wall. I love seeing the family vibes!! Mr. Boyd was a pleasure to talk to. He has a friendly and welcoming smile and hearty laugh!! I will be back to try other flavors!

I recently read some enthusiastic reviews about Auntie Kim’s Pound Cakes on local social media and stopped in today to purchase one. I walked out with an original pound cake, and a smile on my face. Being a southern girl, I was taught there is one way to eat poundcake….frying a slice in butter in a skillet on the stove. We just did that for dessert tonight and oh my goodness! It was so good it just makes you want to go out and roll around in the grass! It was such a wonderful treat and I will definitely be back for more! (FYI, the pound cake is a gorgeous and appetizing warm brown, baked to perfection. It looks dark in my photo but that is the lighting in my kitchen. The real thing looks just like the one your grandmother pulled hot out of her oven when you were a kid. Or, just last week, if you’re lucky!)

Yummy and delicious do not cover how good their pound cakes are. I got the almond with white chocolate ganache soooooo good. i also got the spiced apple again it was incredible. I am going to order again and again but would like to suggest something cherry lol

Auntie Kim's Pound Cakes is exactly what a pound cake should be. Moist and dense on the inside while still having a slight crisp on the outside. They offer a variety of flavors that cater towards everyones desires. I purchased their variety packet and the slices were still just as good a week later. With each cake and slice, they include a list of the ingredients. Auntie Kim has absolutely perfected the pound cake. Beyond that, Uncle Mark and Auntie Kim are some of the most down-to-earth people you will meet. Their character and values are deeply rooted in their business practices.

Stopped by to pick up a cake for my mom’s 81st bday and met the lovely Auntie Kim! She was so lovely and helped me make the hard decision on which flavor to choose (not one bad choice to be made)… I went with the Brownie pound cake. Needless to say, my mom LOVED it!!! I highly recommend this o wonderful bakery!!!

My husband and I purchased 5 slices of different varieties. We brought them home and tasted each slice with our son. Every flavor was amazing and we loved every single one! The only problem is choosing which one is our favorite in order to purchase a whole cake. Auntie Kim’s Pound Cakes will be our new go-to for birthdays going forward. The owners are also extremely friendly and helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

The best pound cake is found at Auntie Kim's! My husband and I drive for almost an hour for these cakes, and it is so hard not to get a new cake once a week. We have enjoyed the Lemon Up twice, the White Chocolate Almond, and the Chocolate Brownie. These cakes have a tender crumb, the right amount of sweetness and wonderful flavor. As if that was not enough, Auntie Kim and Uncle Mark are always so warm and personable, delivering impeccable customer service! They are located across the road from Ingle's in a small shopping plaza and are ready to serve you with a smile!

First of all, this place smells amazing right when you walk in the door. The owners are genuine salt-of-the-earth good people, and the pound cake was DELICIOUS. I tried the red velvet, the lemon up, and the classic. All three were phenomenal. The cream cheese frosting on the red velvet was to die for.

Last week I tried one of Auntie Kim's pound cakes for the first time. It was delicious! I bought this for my mothers 102nd birthday. The packaging was beautiful and I got the sparkles on the cake. Absolutely wonderful. Mom even thought it was as good as hers were when she baked them several years ago-that was the biggest compliment I can think of.

First I want to say, I met them recently in a class and got their business card. When I say I am so glad I used it, this is the best pound cake I have ever had. I let my daughter pick out our first pound cake order, she selected the confetti flavor. We will be ordering again, my dad wants to try the coconut pound cake. I can't wait!

Let me start off by saying I do not just eating anyone’s pound cakes…my mother is a baker and before I tried this pound cake, no one could compare. I had the privilege of trying Auntie Kim’s pound cake and it was SPOT ON. I am so appreciative that Auntie Kim’s took the time to get my sorority these individually wrapped pound cakes. My wife brought home a Classic Pound cake, It was amazing! She also brought some Lemon slices and oh my word the best ever! Yall give this place a try if you haven't yet. The owners are so friendly! I give them 5 stars!
