It is such fun to wander into a local small business that captures the essence of Old Town Alexandria. Wonderful selection, fabulous friendly service, LOVED the recommendations I received, and the pricing is half what I expected for this level of quality and service.
The Wine Gallery is now my Go-To Wine store !!

Having recently moved to Old Town, I've been exploring local small businesses-I prefer to support those establishments and a hyper-local economy. I came across 108 and walked in one evening. I was met with a warm welcome by Lisa, the owner. She asked what I might be interested in and then led me to the selections. I happily accepted some of her recommendations and walked out with a few well- priced bottles of wine which were delicious. The experience reminded me of a wine shop I visited last month in Sable D'Olonne, France, as it was a warm and inviting atmosphere, owner and had an amazing selection of wines. This could be dangerous as I live three blocks away 😊. I highly recommend this shop for oenophiles and beginners alike.

This wine shop goes beyond being a mere store; it’s an immersive experience. The presentation is exquisite, and Lisa’s expertise is truly impressive. She effortlessly translates your taste preferences into delightful wine choices using layman’s terms. The hosted events elevated my understanding and appreciation of wine. The combination of the Wine Gallery and the curated upstairs gallery creates a uniquely enriching experience.
Lisa also offers event space which she helps create a unique experience.

I was delighted by the great reception / wine tasting with chocolate hosted by Alexandria Chamber of Commerce for ALXs professional women's network. What a gem of a place. Great for many different forms of events as the space serves for it. The selection of wine is amazing and not your basic bottle of wine. I left with 6 bottles and some chocolate and will definitely be back.

Love this shop!! Lots of great choices and price points. Very knowledgeable staff. I like to drink natural wines and they carry several varieties and wines that are handcrafted, organic and sustainable. And bonus wine tastings Friday and Saturday.

Wonderful wine and snack shop. We get the monthly subscription, and they always provide new and interesting options. They have a decent selection of snacks and stuff to go with the wine and a small beer selection if you want a little variety. The shop is clean, well kept, and orderly, using corks as price markers is cute, and the service is friendly. A top-notch store.

Lovely wine store in the heart of Old Town. I stop by for recommendations for a single bottle or if I am hosting an event. The staff have always provided excellent recommendations! It’s a bit farther away from other local wine stores, but the experience is worth it.

I am a huge fan of Wine Gallery 108. I am a wine educator certified at the Wine and Spirits Education Trust diploma level and can attest that the owner, Lisa, selects awesome wines! She's also down earth and helps make wine appreciate fun rather than intimidating. And she offers a great of delicious selection of wines at all price points. I trust her recommendations for pairing, etc. I highly recommend the shop, wine club, and her events.

We've been loyal customers of this shop since Lisa opened it. Her knowledge is amazing and she knows our taste so well that we just let her pick our wine! We've never been disappointed in what we find in our case.

Friendly folks amd a local place. They have wine tasting on the weekends...just a few select wines. Pretty large selection. Looking forward to going back.

Loved this store - great wine selection + a few cool beers and yummy, unique snacks. Friendly, knowledgeable service. They didn't have the exact wine I was looking for, but she recommended a similar one that was delicious.

Lisa and her staff are awesome. This is a quaint wine store with not your run of the mill selections. Wine tasting on Friday and Saturday. Check out the upstairs private room for your get togethers. Accommodation is 20 tops. Rental is fair and it has a kitchen and bathroom within. Perfect for small intimate dinners and cocktail parties.

The owner and operator of this place, a lovely woman named Lisa, is so knowledgeable about the wines, and yet so open and friendly that she doesn't make you feel dumb about asking questions about the wines. She's very, very knowledgeable and so if you ask her a question, she gives you a straightforward and easy answer. There areare great crackers, cheese, and snacks. It's really just a neat little store that I never noticed even though I've lived in Old Town for such a long time. I think this place is a little gem. And also, there's some cool, funky artwork on the walls, that I think she actually did herself.

The atmosphere oozes family and comfort. The wine is well priced and the owner is super knowledgeable! It’s definitely worth joining the wine club and stopping by for the wine tastings!

Nice, small wine shop with an interesting selection. I assume that Lisa, who was working there, is the owner. She is very knowledgeable and can help with recommendations. They also sell some nice cheeses and other gourmet items.
