Royal Waffle King

I've been coming here since before I can remember. I absolutely love it! Billy is the best cook but honestly I have never had a bad experience with any of them. No matter what time... day or night... the waitresses are always upbeat and positive! Food is always cooked to order and no matter how picky of an eater you may be... they will always fix it exactly the way you have requested it. Also... the restaurant is always clean and well maintained!

Husband and I are traveling the country and we stopped here for breakfast. Waitress was sweet. Business was consistently busy. Biscuits and gravy was our favorite. Bacon was crispy, hashbrowns were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside which I love. Have to try the biscuit by itself. You will not regret it. Everything was flavored well. Definitely recommend. Be prepared to smell like a fry cook by the time you leave. We noticed it when we got in the truck. The food is so worth it.

Had to go see why this place is always packed. Well, the food is great, the portions are big, the service was fantastic, clean. Owner has done a great job with their staff, they are all working hard with smiles on all of their faces. My family and I went to Waffle King for dinner. As always, too much wonderful food. No waiting, and our waitress, Heather , was just wonderful. Very polite, kind and had that wonderful Southern Hospitality. Thanks again, we'll be back!

Wonderful, quick food. Artfully cooked, and they even have nice presentation, considering it's just diner food. My hamburger steak was EXCELLENTLY cooked. Even though it wasn't the highest quality meat, I would have loved to see the cook do it again with some 100% lean beef chuck!
Also, they serve Belgian waffles here, which are way better than Waffle House.
Side note: very clean and good-smelling bathrooms.

We love Royal Waffle King. Consistent, delicious food. The service is always friendly. Sometimes it a wait because it's so busy, but I've never waited long. They move fast. It's our go-to breakfast spot.

Sammie was a great waitress!! She took great care of me and my son. First time coming here. Food was hot and delicious!! I read reviews before coming in to eat. They were spot on. I’ll definitely come back when I come back to Murphy. Thanks again Sammie for you great service and the cooks that made a delicious breakfast!

Place was busy but we were waited on fast and food was served quick. GREAT place for comfort food. We had omelet and hash browns they were 🔥🔥. I just want to know how you get the eggs so fluffy 😋. We will be back

Stopped here while driving home to Asheville on my way back from Chattanooga. It is your classic diner, very similar to Waffle House. Service was great, the waitresses were very sweet. I got bacon, hash browns, three eggs, and a waffle for $10. That’s a steal. It was great too.

We have seen this restaurant many times while visiting Murphy but never had the opportunity to stop. Before leaving after a wonderful week, we made one last stop here for breakfast. We were able to be seated immediately in a large booth that held our family. The waitress greeted us immediately and was so quick to bring our drinks and gave enough time to peruse the menu so we could read it over carefully. Once our orders were taken, it wasn't more than 10 minutes before we received our food. The waffles were perfect, steaming hot and crispy brown. The rest of the food arrived just as fast - just right bacon, perfectly cooked eggs, delicious hash browns and hot buttered toast that was just the right addition. I couldn't get over the speed with which it all arrived, and not one bad serving of food. Everyone loved this meal and there wasn't a single complaint. If you're looking for a reasonably priced breakfast spot that everyone in your group will love, this is the place to go... definitely 5 stars for the amount of food, prices, friendly staff.... I'll go back every time we are in Murphy!!

Went here on a whim with family and it turned out to be the best breakfast spot of our trip! The service was amazing and very welcoming and friendly! A local diner even gave up his booth for my party since we needed two tables! I will come here again and I want to try lunch next time!

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I felt welcomed when I walked in the door! Brittany is an amazing waitress! She was patient with me & sure answered all of my questions. The food is just as amazing as the workers.

This place is a top notch breakfast place. The waitresses were no nonsense and friendly. The took your order immediately and we had our food in less then 4 minutes. A huge choice of breakfast specials.

Update: I have returned a few more times and the results are consistent...very friendly and attentive staff who get my order cooked perfectly the first time.

This was my first visit; the food was very good and they got my order just right. The server was pleasant and efficient. The atmosphere isn't fancy, but it's very welcoming.

Such a great place to grab a quick breakfast. The staff really liked each other and moved like a well oiled machine. Everyone was very friendly and the food was delicious!!

First time here. Was surprised that it was a sit down place, didn’t know from the street. It was packed with tons of locals which was great. Great food and great customer service. Will definitely stop by again.

We sat at the front table at the walk thru. Food was delicious, the two young ladies that greeted us and helped with the doors were extremely exuberant. Their customer skills impeccable. They would truly be an asset wherever they choose to be employed. We will definitely be going back. I would appreciate talking to the owner on some other items. The country fried steak is quite good.
