Nick Carter, Who I Am Tour, was the best experience I had. This was the first time I actually got to be standing at the stage the whole time. With my favorite all time singer of course I love the Backstreet Boys too. But Nick's music is relaxing I attended his Nashville show too. It brought me back to Who I Am and I am thankful for Nick's solo tour.

We were there founders day weekend for the AA history presentation. It was great, plenty of space and more up on the belcany. It is part of the Akron university. I'm not sure how many it says but if you Google that information and it fits your requirements, I would say go for it.

Splendid Auditorium! Good acoustics, without echos. Only thing... Takes a few flights to reach a restroom, but not important enough to lessen rating.

Honestly just typed it into the GPS and drove here. Its part of the University of Akron. Super clean campus here despite the area surrounding it. Very friendly staff, students, and teachers ♡

This is a great concert hall. My only complaint is that there usher at the door for our row was rude and demanded our ticket each time we went through

Love the venue, always have, ever since I tended bar there in the 90's. Hasn't changed much since then, but still has a lot of appeal. Acoustics are phenomenal, and all the seats have great views. I wish the show was better, but not the hall's fault. Nostalgia still wins out here.

Great place for a concert. Acoustics are great and any seat would be good. Use the restroom before you get settled as they are not convenient. Also seats are in very long rows and difficult crawling over lots of people in the dark.

It is small enough to have a good seat no matter where you sit but still has a big theatre feel. The acoustics are great and the performances schedule has been wonderful. Loved The 4 Italian Tenors!

I like this venue because it is small. There is not a bad seat in the house. The architecture of the building both inside and out is amazing. The parking deck is also very convenient. Helpful staff to answer all questions are posted everywhere.

Large and really nice concert hall. Unique seating arrangement (you enter only from the sides) means there's no aisles and consequently limited up and down during the show.

Sound was great.

Parking was very convenient.

Akron has been gifted over the years by a first class facility in EJ Thomas. There's plenty of parking, friendly service people to help you find your seat and a bar. I enjoy plays that travel off Broadway, but most of all, I enjoy the Akron Symphony. The acoustics are very good. Occasionally I'll attend a concert, like Bob Dylan or Yo-Yo Ma, great venue for that. It's a gem for Akron, something to be proud of!

This is an excellent place to see a show. Sightlines and acoustics are great, the architecture is very unique. The hall can feel very cozy and intimate with the cieling down and can be a full size 3 tier hall with the cieling up, a very interesting effect. The plaza and fountain are very beautiful.

Always a great venue. This time for a dance competition. Beyond the Stars. Great kids, great teachers. The seating is excellent. Parking is attached to the building. Sound is great. Easy in and out. Wouldn't hesitate to go here for any event.

I live in the Cleveland area and ventured to EJ Thomas Hall this past week. Boy, was it worth the drive! The facility is GORGEOUS and has a very modern flair. They brought in some amazing talent for a very fair price (less than $30 per ticket), and I'm sure other venues might charge double for the same type of high-quality performance. Everyone had a blast, and after the concert was over, the venue offered special refreshments to celebrate the evening. The whole audience was engaged, and my husband is still talking about the event to his co-workers days later. He isn't even much of a live music person, so for him to talk about how great a performance was is quite unusual. We were also pleased to find plenty of parking options, including a lot that offers free weekend and evening pricing that is only about 1/2 of a mile from the venue. Also, we were able to take our two children to the event since the venue allows well-behaved, quiet kids. I can't wait for my next trip to EJ Thomas! It was a truly exquisite experience.

Love performing there for Home for Holidays. Wonderful to be singing again with whole Orchestra. A terrific experience. Brought me to tears to be back singing with the Akron Symphony Chorus. EJ is a great concert hall acoustics and plush surroundings. My family loved it. It was strange watching a large chorus and performers wearing masks, but still so worth it. Loved the Christmas music. Just had to oversing and enunciate better. Hopefully later in 2022 that we can sing without the masks. Even my son commented how strange it was to not see the lips facial expressions of performers even soloists, but better days ahead. I count my blessings to be back singing on stage. Our conductors/ maistro and orchestra members are so talented it is an honor privilege to perform there. Our audience was awesome. I invite and recommend to the entire area and beyond to join this cultural experience "the ARTS" in the future. We are blessed to have this in Akron. We should support EJ Thomas and entire music community. Come join us for future concerts. Excited to be a part in April's Spring production of "Creation" and Gospel Meets Symphony June 28th. See you there !! Also want to mention how efficient friendly and hard- working all the behind the scenes personnel are.. Stage hands, lighting,co-ordinartors and all those vital people are to make each performance a success. Couldn't do it without you!
