Found this coffee shop while downtown and it is the best. I have a “usual” coffee shop which is more convenient but when I have extra time (weekends) and want something different this it. Went and had a Banana Foster Latte and son had a hot chocolate. Both were awesome both in taste and presentation. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is decorated nice and gives me a vibe of an old cigar smoking establishment. I will be back again and again.

Atmosphere: The space is what I’d describe as futuristic vintage! The lights are dim all through the shop which sets a moody tone. They have a large sign behind the coffee bar that makes me feel like I’m about to go on the Tron ride in Disney, but their space further back gives off a Halloween, antique coziness! The pictures represent the space better than I can in words.
Service: The girls here are very kind and helpful with recommendations! They had people coming in and out but prepared the drinks quickly while still making the coffee presentation beautiful!
Menu items: I got their specialty King Cake Latte and managed to drink it within a few minutes!

During the month of February, the served Valentine’s and Mardi Gras specials which I thought was unique for them to offer two different menus for the month! This is a great place to experience with friends or family where you can sit down, relax, and enjoy your fun coffee!

My first time visiting this spot, and I haven't been this impressed with a local coffee shop in a while. Had one of the holiday lattes, and I could tell the workers/owners have an eye for good quality and craftsmanship. The espresso was strong but not too acidic, which is my preference. Dark and classic decor, so the atmosphere is comfortable and familiar to me. Coffee was a tad pricier compared to other shops I've been to, but you get what you pay for, and the purchase and experience was worth it. I will for sure be back to try more menu items next time I'm in town.

Knucklebones is always a treat! I’m a sucker for their seasonal menus because you can tell they have so much fun coming up with creative recipes. They have a bunch of house-made syrups and garnishes you aren’t going to find anywhere else. The atmosphere is so cool too; everything inside is decorated like a swanky, sophisticated dark parlor mixed with a little artistic whimsy, while still being relaxed and affordable. Sometimes they carry local baked goodies and pastries from neighboring business too. They have some small cafe tables outside, bar stools near the counter, or the quieter lounge area if you want something peaceful and cozy. Whether you want a simple, cup of coffee to-go, or want to luxuriate on a couch basking in neon purple light with your whimsical foam-art latte with thyme-syrup or rose petal dust or gold foil or some other novelty special lil somethin because you deserve it!!!, Knucklebones can deliver. They’re always friendly and have made a fun, unique space in our little downtown area.

my partner and I wanted to try a new coffee spot. we stumbled across Knucklebones and immediately wanted to go. the incredibly different menu was a definite attraction.

the barista was amazing; I believe their name was Marley. listened to what we liked and had recommendations. the coffee was done in about 5-7 minutes and y'all. it was the best coffee I'd ever gotten from a local place. I got the raspberry cold foam iced latte and it was divine.

the atmosphere was literally the coolest I've ever seen. we both felt so welcomed there. the art was breathtaking!

definitely going to become the spot we visit on the weekends! thanks so much for a great afternoon!

Most unique and chill coffee shop around. From the decor to the barber shop built next door and of course the unique and flavorful coffee drinks. Make sure to stop by and see the friendly staff and grab yourself a gingerbread latte for the holidays

The best coffee in Mobile! The social experiment lounge is also super cool. Music was awesome, parlor is super chic, and staff is super friendly! Will be back!

Everyone was really friendly and the atmosphere is amazing. Beautiful decor and lighting. The coffee is unique and fun but they also have regular coffee as well. The coffee was great quality and not as pricey as I expected. A little more or less like Starbucks pricing.

This place is beautiful the prices are great under $5 for fresh coffee and you can take a picture in almost every corner! This is my favorite spot!

Sometimes you stumble apon he really unique place that the atmosphere, people, and food surprise you. Knucklebones Elixir Co is one of those places if you're looking for great coffee and a unique atmosphere that begs for you to stay and hang out. Unfortunately I need an espresso and a coffee to go but it was well worth the detour to check this place out. Kayli, the barista was friendly, interesting and made the place inviting which you don't see sometimes. Finally, the cause for an espresso and coffee is half the price of one in Seattle and, in my humble opinion, just as good. Be sure to stop by and check it out if you have a few minutes or, if you need to do a little work or some reading stay for a while.

Really cool little coffee shop with dark and moody decor. Was drawn to their specialty/holiday drinks (ordered their Emerald Latte for St. Patrick's Day) which I really enjoyed. The sweet ladies there were very helpful in assisting me in choosing a coffee. Looking forward to going back!

Such a great atmosphere to enjoy an even better coffee! My husband and I got the Dirty Santa Latte(it has eggnog cold foam) and the Son of a Nutcracker Latte and they were both 🤤 every visit has been a great one!

The “Son of a Nutcracker” from the holiday menu was so good! Kellan was so sweet and helpful with making a good choice from the menu. Can’t wait to go back and try something else!

Love the vibe and the barista was very friendly and helpful with all the questions we had about the drinks! I got the blueberry Alps matcha, very delicious. 10/10 would recommend 100%% drinks are amazing and it was lovely to sit and enjoy

We walked in we were greeted and welcome by the staff. We ordered a cappuccino & lavender latte. They were both Devine! I can defiantly say on this entire trip we had yet found a speciality coffee shop until today! Thank you to Carmen for being so helpful & attentive during our visit. If you’re looking for 3rd wave coffee shop, this is the place to visit! ☺

We've wanted to try Knucklebones for months and finally got the chance. Totally worth the wait; great atmosphere, stylish design, and delicious coffees. We'll be back!

Stopped by during Mardi Gras with some out of towners because I had been wanting to try. This place is BEAUTIFUL! Much larger than I suspected. The vibe is amazing. The coffee is delicious. So many thoughtful details. We will be back!! I can’t wait to try other menu items.

They do what they say and say what they are. Housed inside of “The Social Experiment,” this coffee house is hip and vibes with a young downtown crowd.

Got the orange cream cold brew and have no regrets! She even put something on a stove top while making it. Crazy! Everything was handmade in front of me. A surreal cocktail experience, but for coffee.
