This Mobile, AL, coffee shop isn’t constantly busy for no reason!☕🥳

Located on the corner of St Anthony Street, the coffee shop is surrounded by trees that bring out its clean and earthy aesthetic!

Atmosphere: Just like its exterior, the interior has an assortment of green plants that add a pop of color to the white space!
Service: They were very busy the day I went but treated every customer with kindness despite the overwhelm of the day. I felt valued when they took my order, and they helped answer my quick questions to make sure that I got what I wanted!
Menu items: I got their large, iced Dirty Chai Latte with almond milk. I’m hoping to go back someday soon to try one of their specialty drinks! When I visited, they had their Mardi Gras specials, so I was able to get their specialty King Cake Moon Pie—it did not disappoint!🌙🥧💜

I love their branding! They did a great job with their logo + neon sign wall art!☕👅

Very nice coffee shop. Cool atmosphere. Sweater weather latte and pumpkin cream cheese muffin were amazing. Coffee is very good.

The first good place on our way!!! That ginger & honey cake made my day. Coffee is full body and fruity taste, excellent. Dog friendly place and big patio space with shadows from trees.

Probably one of the best cortados I've had in ages, in one of the most charming shops I've ever visited.

Nova Espresso is absolutely worth the stop.

Also, that taco truck outside was mind-blowingly delicious.

What a treat to find this coffee shop! The crew were so nice and knowledgeable about the products and the coffee is fantastic. Highly recommend!

This was my first time here and the server was so helpful and friendly. I enjoyed an iced green tea. The atmosphere includes an array of lovely green plants. There are many opportunities for computer setup. They were grilling food outside. There are great wine choices.

Walked over from my hotel in downtown. Lots and lots of outdoor seating with big picnic tables for groups or small metal tables for people looking to get some work done.

I got a cold brew and a banana nut muffin. Muffin wasn’t my first choice, but they were sold out of a lot of other parties. Get here early for the good stuff!

Cold brew is solid and dependable. Maybe get a pump of syrup as it is on the stronger side flavor wise. Not bad, just preference.

Music is awesome. Very coffee shop vibes. They have a taco truck outside and it seems like more people are coming for the tacos than the coffee. Not surprising- they look bomb.

All in all, a win and exactly what you want in a coffee shop.

I got a cold brew after a long day and absolutely enjoyed it. Very cute and artsy interior for sure. The baristas were super sweet and easy to talk to. I feel like this would be a great place to just hang with your buddies and chat the day away. The seating outside could also be an option on a chill day. it’s located in downtown but not downtown DOWNTOWN and still, the parking can be a bit tricky. But, street parking is always an option.

Really cute shop and space. Enjoyed hanging out here. Mushroom breakfast taco was very delicious! Decent cup of coffee and very friendly staff. Definitely a good way to start the day in Mobile.

Cool place. Very friendly staff and the coffee is spot on! You can tell they dial in their coffee and use good equipment. Drip and cappuccino was delish. Such a great find while passing through.

I was in town this morning and decided to stop by. Their coffee was really rich and good and atmosphere is also wonderful. If we had this place by us, it would be our go to cafe. Definitely Thumbs up from me.

I made a short trip to Mobile and this place was recommended by 3 different locals. Sometimes highly recommended places don’t live up to the hype. That’s definitely not the case here.

Nova espresso may be one of the top 5 coffee shops I’ve ever been to. The vibe is awesome. Great music, super friendly people and a great environment.

The drink was so yummy - the “local buzz” had the perfect balance of rich coffee flavor with some sweetness added in. Super creamy too.

I highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a great coffee and a place to catch up on a little bit of work or connect with a friend.

My FAVORITE place in mobile to grab a cup of coffee! Forget Starbucks!! The atmosphere is very nice. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Outside you’ll find a taco food truck that has amaaaazzzinnng street tacos. Nova is also very dog friendly so me and Eugene come here often when we have free time. It’s also a nice place to just hangout for a few hours with some friends. Great music, outdoor heaters ( for when it’s cold ), string lights, and a great staff makes this the top coffee shop in mobile in my book.

Roasts their own beans (mainly light roast). VERY GOOD all around! Great offerings in coffee, atmosphere and customer service. If you like real coffee you need to try this shop.

Key Lime Coconut Bundt Cake - I mean…do I eat the whole thing?! With the delightful Lemon Thyme iced espresso to accompany it, the answer is a resounding YES! Perfect spot to grab some deliciousness to take to work. Well worth the tangle of oneway streets and questionable parking that has become Downtown Mobile. Haven’t had a bad bakery treat yet and the coffees… well, I never question Nova’s suggestions!

The place is magnificent, the staff lovely, and the coffee is delicious. The only off-kilter thing I notice is the music: it most often is really loud complex dream pop or shoegaze which I adore, but it’s not really a suitable environment for that sound. It’s a breezy, open café space playing like Beach House’s saddest songs really loudly when people are enjoying themselves or working on a lovely spring day. Suddenly we’re thrown into reverb and dissonance that can just cause a confusing tone. It’s a very welcoming, naturalistic space that is an important asset to a revitalizing downtown Mobile area: the “sound of the environment” should complement that welcoming, naturalistic appeal in some way. Of course, all of this should not dissuade you from trying and enjoying Nova. My thoughts are simply professional in scope and extend from a desire to continue seeing the business thrive.

What an awesome place. I am an Americano fan and that is typically the drink that I get. However, the guy behind the counter recommended the espresso tonic. This is fantastic! Thank you for the recommendation and thank you for such a cool place.

Absolutely my favorite coffee stop I’ve been to yet. The taco truck outside made me realize that coffee and tacos is a dream I’ve always had but never known!! Fantastic espresso, fun to pair with food from outside. Highly recommend!

A hidden (at least from me) gem in downtown Mobile. Great coffee, cool setting, friendly people. It was a bit busier than I expected on a Monday morning, but that just added to the atmosphere. Great place to get some work done if you're not stuck in an office.

Excellent little cafe. Got the Local Buzz (hot) and some breakfast from Front Yard Tacos on site. Hope to be back again.
