Dr. Murillo performed major surgery on me and she did the most incredible job. From day one when I met her in her office she took a lot of time to comfort me, explain everything clearly, and to make sure I knew what was going on. She did the same thing before surgery and after surgery she checked on me every single day in the hospital even on Saturday and Sunday. The surgery itself was major and she made it so smooth. Incredible incision and took great care of my uterus which needed to be stitched up. I am so pleased with my care with her and at Scripps, and I cannot say enough great things about Dr. murillo. It was such a blessing to have her care. She is the most nurturing and calming person and anyone would be lucky to have her as their doctor. ❤

Dr Murillo really cares about her patients and treats then with the upmost respect and empathy. She was always kind, listened, and didn't rush. She delivered my second baby and was so encouraging during the birth and checked on my mental health as well as my physical after delivery.

After 30 years of working with doctors in a clinic, I can honestly say that I have never met a physician more excellent than Dr. Murillo. She was very informative and took much time to answer my concerns. I left with a greater understanding and peace of mind. Her medical knowledge, kindness and compassion were a gift that I will long remember.

Dr. Murrillo is very sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable. She takes her time and doesn't rush you out of the exam room. I had the best experience with delivering my first born.

The kindest most caring doctor and human!

It is sad I need to give this review because I liked Dr, Murillo my first visit in Encinitas, but my experience quickly changed today. I had an ovarian cyst rupture over the weekend and was at urgent care all Sunday. Feeling not well a few days later I made an appointment with Dr. Murillo to get checked out. I had to make the appointment in Oceanside and I live in Carmel Valley which I have never been to before, so I left early. MY GPS brought me to the hospital and could not find their office, so I called their number and got the front desk woman in Encinitas. She told me they would call to let them know I was running late. If anyone has had a ruptured ovarian cyst, you also can barely walk, so I stressed that I was going to be late. I finally got to the office and was 20 minutes late. I explained again, I called and was in the area, but the front desk woman I spoke to was not helpful and I can barely walk as I had an ovarian cyst rupture a few days ago. 'Oh I am sorry, but we can't take you now..we are fully booked." I sat there clearly in pain, and they would not take me. The front desk woman even went to the back to tell Dr. Murillo the situation and came back saying 'she even said no and that they were fully booked with new patients' and there was no way to see me for 15 minutes. The reason I am also writing this is they told me Dr. Murillo would look at my visit at urgent care, and call me this evening. They would mark this as urgent to her to review.. Now it is 9:51pm and no call..I wonder if I was pregnant they would turn me away as well? Long story short, I will be finding a new doctor.

My 11 am appointment in Oceanside location I was waiting for over a month ( 20 min drive vs 40 min to Encinita"s ) was changed by "doctor" decision to Encinita' s without notifying me. I learned about the change at 10 am and because of that was 10 min late ..... doctor would not see me! I left stage 4 cancer husband at home along for this appointment and asked a "checking in" clerk to tell this to the doctor and ask please to see me, the answer was "No". Over 2 hours of my time wasted and I will be waiting another 3 weeks for appointment, If I could give zero instead of 1 star, I would.
