Terrain Cafe

This has become one of our favorite places to go.
The atmosphere is great and it’s never too loud (at least when we’ve gone).

For breakfast: there’s a wide variety. I’ve gotten the French toast and the terrain breakfast in the past and have loved both. My boyfriend has gotten the Shakshuka option as well and loved it. This has really become our favorite breakfast spot!

For dinner: if you’re not a fan of Fish or vegetarian options, I almost wouldn’t recommend coming here for dinner. At the moment there’s: one burger option, one chicken option, a steak frites option, and chipotle pork tenderloin. My boyfriend had the tenderloin and wasn’t a fan of the grit cake that was on the bottom. I’ve always gotten the salmon and love it.

Their drinks whether you’re getting them off the alcohol side, or if you’re getting a coffee are always really good. I personally get an iced mocha latte when I’m there for breakfast. For dinner I’ve gotten the Raspberry Prosecco Smash which was great as well.

We love that the menu changes seasonally and that they work with Del Val as well!

Overall, from the 5 times we’ve done so far service has always been great, food is always quick to come out, and always tastes great.

Came here for a nice Christmas dinner with friends and really enjoyed it! The atmosphere was really nice and all of the plants were gorgeous! Food was pricey but everything we had was fantastic. Our waiter, Oscar, was very personable and sweet as well. We had many questions and he was very patient with us. I'd highly recommend the cheese board and the harvest bowl. I'll definitely be back!

I had the most wonderful time here with my best friends and boyfriend! We had the server, Diana, at the bar top area, and everything was impeccable that day—from her service to the atmosphere and the short wait time for a busy weekend brunch! I highly recommend anyone go here if you love homemade foods all made from scratch with locally sourced cheeses (from Doe Run farm), vegetables (Del Val Farm), etc. The wine is also so amazing. 😍 I also loved visiting the gardens and shop so much. I can't wait to come back tomorrow night for a dinner date. 🥰

Everything was great there—food, service, atmosphere. There is nothing to mark poorly.

All the dishes were excellent.

I brought my wife for her Birthday, and everything exceeded expectations again. We had two drinks each, appetizers, one main dish each, and dessert. All of them were fantastic.

Candace was our waitress, and she brought the energy. It was contagious. Our bartender was fantastic and was getting the cocktails out to our table to ensure they were done correctly.

It's a must-go. You will have a good time.

Beautiful atmosphere and delicious brunch! My brother and I each had the mushroom soup to start, we both loved it. Then we had the coffee braised short rib and oh my lord…heavenly! Great place and I can’t wait to go again when I’m back up north. Oh and the mocha marshmallow latte was the perfect treat.

This place is beautiful! Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. We went for brunch and everything was amazing. The bread and butter was delicious almost like Hawaiian style with a slightly sweet baked bread. Our waitress explained they have a daily special butter and today it was black cherry. Shrimp and grits was out of this world and the short rib and egg was fantastic. Thee meat was so tender it fell apart…no knife needed. Everything was cooked perfectly. A great place for brunch with friends.

Our waitress Ina was so attentive and offered great suggestions. She also educated us on the ingredients in our dishes.

We will be back for sure.

I really enjoyed the happy hour here with my family! The atmosphere is beautiful and the restaurant is on the smaller side making it feel more intimate. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the pomegranate mule and Anjou punch.

For food we tried the tuna tartare tacos, avocado toast, crispy chickpeas, and lamb chops. All were delicious but the chickpeas and avocado toast were personal favorites! They serve complimentary fresh bread baked in a flower pot that was incredible. The manager Drew stopped by as well and made sure our experience was perfect.

Such a great experience here! It was our first time dining at Terrain cafe and we loved it! Our server Vitaliy was very pleasant, attentive, and helpful! The shakshuka was delicious and the bread baked in a terracotta pot served with poppyseed butter was such a cute and creative dish. We also loved strolling through the gift shop afterwards. Would come again!

First time here service, food, atmosphere, and drinks were out of this world! Oscar was a wonderful, attentive server. The chicken pot pie was amazing. Can't wait to come here again!

Was not disappointed in the slightest!!! Went for lunch to celebrate my birthday and it was overall absolutely phenomenal! The service, food and atmosphere was exquisite. Our server Jordan was fantastic! Gave great suggestions and made the experience special. Food was out of the world! Highly recommend the cheese board, arugula and pear salad and apple crisp cheesecake as well! We will definitely be coming back!!!

Was so excited to try the doylestown location and it did not disappoint! My mom and I rolled the dice on going a Sunday afternoon with no reservation. The hostess was friendly and offered us 2 bar seats rather than waiting 40 minutes. We snagged them and it was perfect! The summer toast with avocado and corn was delicious. My mom ordered the fried cauliflower sandwich which is always a favorite. The pot bread with seasonal strawberry butter was a perfect starter, along with our lattes and mixed-berry prosecco cocktail. We can’t wait to go back!

Wow. Five star experience tonight. First time at Terrain cafe Doylestown with friends from out of town and we had a fabulous experience.

The setting is so chic yet welcoming. The staff couldn’t have been more professional and accommodating.

First off, the cocktails were amazing. Get the unique and wonderful bread before you do anything! The food was delicious. The mushroom soup was rich with a generous portion of fresh mushrooms. The beet and burrata salad was a very generous and tasty appetizer. Our entrees we’re even better. The steak was tender and flavorful, the halibut was fresh and tasty and the the pork tenderloin was flavorful and so satisfying.

Our server, Omar, was helpful and incredible attentive. We even had the pleasure of meeting Shannara, the manager, who came over to make sure we were having an enjoyable experience.

We highly recommend Terrain and are looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent atmosphere!! The food was delicious. Drinks were great. The service was a little slow but sometimes in life we need to not expect everything right away. The staff were all friendly and happy to accommodate.

We went to Terrain Cafe for dinner while we were in town for a wedding. They were even having a wedding at the venue, too.

The food and service is 5/5. The burrata and cheese board were excellent. Good espresso martinis, too.

Diana & Kina were awesome! Diana even gave us a cheese board on the house because my Fiance and I just got engaged last week.

If I could give 6 stars ⭐ I would! Everything was amazing: great food, beautiful atmosphere and service is high!!! Hard to find a table on weekends, recommend to book beforehand.

Wonderful restaurant attached to a gorgeous garden center. Food is delicious, but you should be patient when they’re busy. A little loud inside when the restaurant is full. All in all, we keep coming back and always know it’s gonna be a great experience.

IN LOVE with this place! It is such a beautiful and airy space. One of the best cheese boards that I've ever had.

This is our go to breakfast spot! The food is excellent! Many of the ingredients, seasonal vegetables are obtained from the farm in Del Valley University! So fresh! The staff is friendly and efficient! Lorelei and Shelby are our faves! Highly recommend!

Perfect for plant lovers! Beautiful atmosphere inside and out. Aesthetic was so peaceful and visually pleasing with natural wood everywhere and obviously tons of plants. The cafes menu had great brunch items and lunch options were decent as well.. The drink menu for wine, cocktails, and mocktails was refined and perfect for this place. Refreshing! Couldn’t recommend this place more for brunch or lunch with the gals or just any plant lovers perfect outing.
Both got the burger which was delish.

I love this place. The food is delicious and thoughtful. It's very inclusive, there are lots of allergy friendly and vegan friendly options. Also if you plan to shop there definitely grab a bite first, you get 20% off your purchase in the store if you eat at the cafe.
