Jay was very knowledgeable and helped me get my data recovered!! I originally went to a uBreakiFix by Asurion location for data recovery issues. What a waste of time. They're affiliates with Samsung and was given a sales pitch. I was essentially told I was out of luck other than shipping my phone to California for their forensic team to maybe get the data back for a hefty price and if they got anything I would only get a flash drive with the missing pictures, texts, and contacts. Dr. Gadget is independently owned and care about your concerns, with ample information they guided me back to as close back to what I had prior to losing everything.

Amazing service! Came in sept 5th around 4p and had my phone battery replaced in 1 hour. He gave me a phone call to come pick it up, when I got to the store he gave me alot of insight about what could go wrong in the future with my phone (phone related not replacement parts related) and even what was wrong & could be wrong with it now. Amazing service no scratches, no cracks, came out looking better then when it came in! Would recommend to anyone. Added before and after pictures.

Went in for a screen protector. They didn't have stock for the new Google pixel phone we got. Got info where we could get one. Got it and they installed it, free. Great service. Gave me some great info about the new phone

Had a broken screen on my Samsung S7 edge phone and no one else had the screen in stock. Called first and was very friendly and helpful on the phone. Was able to walk in soon after and have the screen replaced the same day for a fair price. Also gave a deal on replacing the battery at the same time. Works great after! Would definitely go back again if ever need phone repairs.

Chris helped me today at the store! Polite and professional I love this company. The owner is amazing as well. I’ve been using Dr. gadget for a good 10 years now I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else. I did stop at a big box chain, which was Apple certified technicians there, and I definitely will never go back again. This is the place to go.

Honest, honest, honest! Very polite and approachable. Chris took care of us with same day service. Charger slot on iPhone wasn’t fitting correctly on the charging cord and found out it just needed a cleaning with calibration. He even cleaned the speaker. Quality service with quality pricing. No surprise charges. This will be our go to spot for device issues. Thank you Chris.

The nicest guy ever! My phone screen was cracked and since it's an android that's not super popular they had to order the part. He was fast, super responsive and made sure my phone worked before I paid for the rest, even ordering an additional part before I paid the balance and the cost was so reasonable compared to others. This is the only place we'll go to for repairs from now on.

Stop looking around to repair your phone, or tablet go to Dr. Gadget in Oswego. E was very helpful, knowledgeable, and does professional work and he is certified. I went to other repair shops for my Galaxy Note 10+ and was told it's beyond repair or that they would try to repair it and quoted me $200 more. I went to Dr. Gadget. Not only was he polite and sincere he was able to fix my phone in less than 2 hours with no after market stuff. All original Samsung parts, and he added a screen protector for free. He also gave me a case for half price. Best customer service I've ever received. My phone looks brand new, and works perfectly fine. E did a great job. So stop searching, and just go to Dr. Gadget a certified technician that does professional work.

I needed my battery for my iPhone 8 replaced apples website sent me to the closest place for a certified tech to fix, drove 45 minutes to Oswego Best Buy and I get there and was told they didn’t have any batteries for my iPhone 8 luckily they recommended dr gadget he had the battery replaced and fixed within an hour, charged it for me, and it was very reasonably priced. The guy who helped me was super polite and helpful. I highly recommend going there for tech issues

Very professional, knowledgeable, great pricing and and you get your phone back pretty fast. They fixed my shattered s7edge screen. And gave me a great price on new phone protective case and shatter resistant clear screen film cover. Nice people to work with.

I had a strange brown residue in the charger port preventing my Mac from charging, and I brought it in and the guys down there cleaned it out for free for me! Very helpful, professional, and fair. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I have also had iPhone screens repaired here as well. These guys are the best! If you need any sort of phone, tablet, or laptop repaired DEFINITELY bring it here first.

Exceptional customer service. “E” at the front counter helped me. He was amazing and did everything beyond. Came in the morning and he looked at it right away, told me if it’s fixable or not immediately and then gave me a price range right off the bat. Super cheap compared to going to Best Buy or the Apple store. I left my phone at the store for 5 hours while I went to work, when I came back it was back to new and everything was fixed. E was probably the best customer service representative that I could have gotten and I’m so thankful for the work he did on my phone!!!!! Great job Dr. Gadget

My wife’s beloved iPhone 7+ was in definite need of a new battery. We called Dr. Gadget in Oswego and were assured, as we suspected, this was not a difficult task. We met Chris at the shop, who gave a very calm and professional impression, left the phone with him and just under an hour later the new battery was installed and charge already up to over 70%. This igadget repair service is highly recommended.

I found this place in my travels and i'm very glad i did. I had a broken screen for a note 4 and it was repaired within a few hours. The workmanship was excellent quality and done at a very reasonable price. The customer service was exceptional and i would not bother with other cell-phone repair shops. Overall, this shop is exceptional, does great work, decent prices, communicates well and worth using for all cell-phone issues ! Top marks and thank you

My daughter broke the LCD screen on her Samsung tablet. I brought it to U Break, I Fix and they couldn't fix it. They claimed they couldn't order the part so they told me to call Samsung. Knowing I didn't have the insurance on the tablet, Samsung wouldn't help me. Then I brought it to Geek Squad at Best Buy. They wouldn't even touch it, because it wasn't under warranty. My last stop was Dr. Gadget in Oswego. I was told they could fix it in under a week. And to my surprise, it was fixed and works perfectly. I highly recommend them. Their staff was very friendly and helpful. The repair was cheaper than just buying a new tablet too!

I visited the Oswego location a couple of weeks ago bc my k51 phone port was loose and not charging my phone properly. An other place said they couldn't fix my phone. Dr Gagdet did! Chris went above and beyond to help me. He had a co worker order the part and said it would arrive in about 3 days. However, the next day, he called me to say that he had personally checked for the part at another location and found it and could fix my phone that day. I appreciate that Chris valued my situation and went out of his way to help me. I have a sick child so a working phone is essential. I couldnt afford to buy a new one.Chris really deserves many thanks and a raise. Dont let this employee get away management!

Never had a bad experience here. Went in several times for phone repairs. always interact with Ain who is incredibly friendly and helpful and goes out of his way to explain exactly what they have to do, what they can do, what the best option is (even if it means going to the Apple Store) and how much it will cost. If you are like me and never want to spring for the Apple Care when you buy a phone and then lament the cost when something brakes, this is the place for you. They don't overcharge for labor and do quality work, quickly, for a fair price!
