La Marimba Mexican Restaurant

We had the most fantastic dining experience at La Marimba! The food was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor, from enchiladas to the bowls. And the drinks were just as delicious - the margaritas were the perfect balance of sweet and tart.

But it wasn't just the food and drinks that impressed us - the atmosphere was also absolutely fantastic. The decor was vibrant and colorful. Plus, the service was top-notch, with friendly staff who were happy to offer recommendations and answer our questions.

We can't recommend this restaurant enough if you're looking for a truly authentic Mexican dining experience. Do yourself a favor and visit them - your taste buds will thank you!

Discovered this gem through Google's local recommendations and stellar reviews. Visited for dinner one evening and was blown away—I'm already looking forward to my next visit. The location is fantastic, offering ample parking in nearby lots and a few spots right outside the door. This spot perfectly complements downtown Oswego.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this place! The food was excellent, with unexpectedly large portions. The complementary chips and salsa were great, too! We went early on a weeknight, so it wasn't very crowded and service was fast. We recommend the fajitas.

What a surprise !!! The mole was amazing !! The margarita was top notch and the service was awesome too !! I wish could come back. Do your tastebuds a favor and check this place out.

My husband and I were heading to Chipotle. However, since we enjoy trying out new places we stumbled upon Marimba. It was much closer and Eddie the manager was very professional and considerate. My husband had the chicken burrito bowl and I had the chicken burrito with a side of rice and beans along with an horchata. We walked out with smiles on our faces and completely full. Marimba was worth our short lunch date. We recommend it! 😋

It was our first visit to La Marimba I was pleasantly surprised, The chips and salsa we were served are delicious! I ordered The Enchiladas my wife ordered the Chicken Fajitas. I thought it was very good and authentic tasting! I found our new Restaurant when we are in the mood for Mexican. I recommend to give La Marimba a try.

My husband and I just tried La Marimba for the first time tonight and it was excellent. The Margaritas were SO good, had to give two a try to make sure!~😉 DELISH! The food was fantastic, we got the steak burrito, steak/chorizo tacos and a quesadilla for an app. Everything tasted so incredibly fresh and with tons of flavor. Chips and salsa, LOVE their salsa, including the HOTtest one, you gotta give it a try. Guacamole was the freshest tasting guac! Our server was awesome, very attentive & friendly! We will be back!

Seriously, the food is so fresh and delicious. The drinks are awesome, and the staff is friendly and attentive. My wife and I have been here twice and will be coming back very often.

This was a nice Friday night surprise! Very good Mexican food, from the chips and salsa to the main course, I was pleasantly surprised so thank you Eshrat!

We had the Mojito, the Pomegranate Margarita and the enchiladas. Everything was delicious. The staff was friendly and we had very quick service. The atmosphere was really nice too and they had good music! We will be back!

INSANE good!! I got the al pastor tacos and the spicy margarita. Marg needs more spice so if you're like me ask to make it extra extra spicy!!! :). Can't wait to come back!!!

This spot is a go to and enjoy some great Mexican food and drinks the servers ( Victoria) are one in a million that means ( Top Notch n friendly) bar tenders is great she’s the boss ‘ boss. I from California and this will most definitely be the spot to come back to when I’m in town.

Walking into the restaurant you can feel the newly deforest atmosphere. A variety of colors and designs fill the walls of the interior. Walking further in, you get a nice bar with a great selection of liquor. The food is amazing!

Only place I will go for tacos. The staff is very attentive, amazing food & even better margaritas. The bartender is amazing

Love it! The margaritas are amazing-hand muddled, fresh ingredients, lots of choices! The guacamole is fresh and delicious! The staff are always welcoming and helpful. Finally, the outside patio is perfect for family dinner or date night. Highly recommend!!

Great margaritas ( strawberry basil and granada are amazing) and great food! Especially the steak tacos and chicken enchiladas Rojas.
