Theater Antiques Mall

We really enjoyed visiting each booth in this old movie theater. My favorite sections are the ones in the area up the stairs and the last booth on the left. We really enjoyed the huge variety of tools labeled with their uses. The last booth on the left has an assortment of houses for birds and bees along with old tools. I purchased a few old license plates and some old tools. We found more goodies that we just had to have. This shop will be a priority stop any time we're traveling through the area again.

This was a wonderful shop to visit! I loved it. I purchased some birdhouses. They are homemade and so cute!

The theater stage itself is so cool when you get to the stage and look back you can see the entire old theater layout.

The coolest antique store ..... Love this place

We really like hitting up the shops downtown and this one is no different! Wide variety of stuff with a neat atmosphere. Would have been great to see this in it's hayday!

This is a really great antique shop in the historic little town theater. You can feel the history of the building as you browse. The layout is exactly the same as when it was a theater, they have changed very little. Recommend stopping by!

This antique shop in antique row brings back many memories. It used to be the Carroll theater and every Saturday in the sixties I would go there and watch a double feature for $0.25. on a sad note it was segregated and the black people went up to the balcony and the white people sat downstairs and there was lots of popcorn frisbees thrown around and total mayhem at times. The place was usually packed though and I have fond memories of the place. It's nice to go back there and visit and walk down the theater isles where I used to walk as a child. I needed a shovel and bought one there that was much cheaper than a new one at Lowes. It was as good as new. And while it was not an antique it was only $7. They do have a lots of antique tools there as well as many other auntie items including lots of pottery.

They have a lot of booths with a wide variety of antiques and even new or not that antique local items (think Louisiana couture and Louisiana State University type items). Many items are reasonably priced and like any antique store they have things you may not find anywhere else.

Great place to walk, easy parking lots of cute and interesting stores like this one.
