Little Cairo Cafe (Carmel)

Overall a great experience. The spanakopita and hummus were amazing. All the food was really good! The serving sizes were very generous. After we shared the veggie platter and spanakopita, we could only eat a few bites of our entrees.

Not a complaint, just some addt info; It was a little chilly in there (cold night) and the music was kind of loud. When we walked in we weren’t sure what to do since we’d never been in before. There was no sign about seating or anyone to direct us. We asked the guy at the counter and he handed us menus and said to take a seat anywhere. Then a server took care of us the rest of the time. Kind staff.

Also, I think this is Fayouz Grill, not Little Cairo Cafe?

Little Cairo Cafe was delightful. We had the great leaves to start off with they were very good.These were grape leaves that were chilled with a dill like sauce to use on them that was really yummy.
I had the falafel while wifey had shesh kabob.
Everything was awesome.
Family owned, family recipes. Well worth trying.

Such a great place for Mediterranean food. The hummus was really good as well as the tzatziki was some of the best I have had. We loved everything we had. Chicken swarma and Gyro entrees.

This is my fourth time ordering from here, and the food has been great each time! After having such a horrific experience at another restaurant nearby (Papa Fattoush) I will always come to this restaurant from now on. My total runs about $50 give or take for me, my husband, and son.
Needless to say each time we never have any food left over. Food is excellent, and service is even better. 💕

Love/Love/Love this place. It is a bit of a drive for us so we don’t visit as often as we would like, but the food is ahhmazin! Our typical order is the falafel pita sandwich and chicken shawarma….yummy!

Small mom and pop shop serving excellent Mediterranean food. The gyros are fresh and excellent. Not greasy or gristly like some others I've had at other restaurants.

It's clear the owners take pride in their food and treat their customers warmly. Their hummus is creamy and homemade, served with warmed, soft pita. So much better than store-bought.

Enjoy a delightful lunch there, especially if you sit outside on a warm day.

After a long day, we were looking for good food and a clean quiet place to enjoy it and we found it at Little Cairo Cafe! The service and food were excellent! The little dining room is charming and laid back. Our family of seven really enjoyed their meals. The sweet hibiscus tea was on my mind already today and I wish we lived closer so I could pop in for another. Our kids loved the chicken shawarma sandwiches and fries. We will return!

Thank you so much for helping us celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday. It was a wonderful meal and wonderful service.

Had the hummus and pita, dolmades, lentil soup, and Greek salad. All 3 of us really enjoyed it and feel the hummus is the best we've had in our lives.

This place was empty when I picked up my food, not sure why because it was so warm and welcoming inside with really nice decor and super clean. The one person that was at the front counter was very friendly. I'll be putting this place in my work lunch rotation for sure! And I'll likely be dragging a friend to try out the place as well. Gyro meat was so good, really moist and super well spiced! I would have liked more of the cucumber sauce, so next time I'll ask for more.

Fabulous! We got an appetizer sampler, and every element impressed us. The hummus was outstanding, the baba ganoush delightfully smoky, and all of our entrees we're fantastic. They all came with a gorgeous house dressing that was mustardy, tangy and herbal. We barely had room for the baklava, but that was super flaky and flavorful. The service was also very good, and everyone was very warm and welcoming.

We can NOT say enough good things about our friends at Little Cairo! Boles and his family are the most wonderful folks to work with, and fed our guests with the most delicious, fresh, flavorful, and beautiful dishes. Absolutely stellar service, price points, and of course the BEST FOOD imaginable!!!!

Yum! Great food and charming service. After being let down by how bad the food at Petos has become, I was leery about getting Mediterranean food. But the freshness and flavors blew me away. Conveniently located on Main Street in Carmel, this place is a great, fast lunch option.

The food was amazing here. We got vegan falafel wrap. The atmosphere was so welcoming. I love this place so much. We just moved here and this was just such an awesome discovery. I LOVED the Turkish coffee!! This place is family owned and can see that they pour their heart and soul in this place. Had very wonderful kind waiters whose names are Ester &Amira!!!!

We are so glad that we tried this restaurant out. The owner and staff were lovely. You can see how proud they were of their little cafe. The owner recommended some delicious dishes for us. We loved every bite. The space is adorable too. The portion sizes and the prices are very reasonable.
