Philz Coffee

Great spot to get some cool coffee choices. They have hot and cold selections as well as teas. The inside is spacious and it has a nice atmosphere for drinking your brew. Plenty of tables and chairs and most likely you’ll find groups of students/estudiantes studying there as well. There are also some outdoor seating options as well.

I love visiting Philz and the coffee is always good. I’ve ordered on the app several times without issue and it’s always ready in a reasonable amount of time. It is very expensive for a cup of coffee, but it’s a nice treat when I feel like splurging.

My main complaint is that I really think they should have a second location in Davis or even just a second story on top of the current location. I know it probably won’t happen, but having a second story seating area with big windows and lots of comfy chairs would be so awesome! While there’s already a lot of seating, I often find that there aren’t any spots available inside, so I sometimes wish they had another location or more space.

There was only one woman working behind the counter,, and despite how busy it was,, she was very friendly and got our coffee out very quick. The inside was clean,, and lots of available seating. The coffee was delicious as well !

A great philz location, I'm so glad they opened here. Very popular and busy but consistently good drinks. I was a barista at philz before and am happy with the service and quality. The store is a rather large one and is maintained well and clean.
Always appreciate philz effort to be eco friendly, thank you. I love the wall of personal mugs that people can keep to drink from when they return again.

What a great cup of coffee and what a great concept. All coffees are pour over one at a time. Takes a little longer to get your coffee but so worth it.

If you've ever been to a Philz, you know that the coffee is spectacular. There isn't another coffee chain in the US that compares to the quality of the coffee you get here.

This particular location in Davis is a nice place to work or study.

I love going here. I'm not familiar with Davis as I'm from AZ though, because of this, I felt the need to explore and I've discovered a new coffee shop that gives a chill and welcoming atmosphere to come and stay or get in and get out-when using their app. The blueberry muffins and banana bread is amazing, though the cinnamon rolls do have dates or raisins in it. Overall, this place is perfect on my way to work. I definitely recommend it.

Make sure you order ahead and give them a few extra minutes as this is a hot spot.

This Philz is different than the one on Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley. This location has a full food counter and a board explaining the different kinds of coffee offered. I particularly like the seating. It is a comfortable place that opens early.

Pricy coffee but the place has good vibes. I got a medium philtered soul, and it was good. If you like your coffee sweet, go for medium sugar or higher. There’s a lot of room for you yo do your work, and it has nice chill music playing.

ohhhhh the things i would subject myself to just to get this coffee in Cleveland. i will never forget that mojito iced flavor. It is probably the best coffee in the world, The Beard Has Spoken.

Now more importantly the info you are looking for. The main reason I believe their drinks are so good, is no off the shelf syrup! Everything is sweetened with brown sugar (a whole new experience!)

Locations: I do not know all of their exact hours or locations. But i do believe their OG location is in the Bay area (mission district) they are in California and Chicago (IL)

I can tell you, they do their best if someone wants a specific type of drink, but with the materials they have on hand. (want syrup? get sugar! BUT, they do offer their other ingredients to try to get the flavor you are looking for!)

I went at 4pm and 715am on different days and the staff always made me feel awesome! I am from OH so I was honestly expecting the pretentious "this is special and you are nothing" mentality, but no. I felt like we should all hug before i left (which would make my coffee even better!)

but alas, i am depressed, as all i can do curl up in a corner in the fetal position, close my eyes and dream sweet dreams as i try to rememeber the amazing taste of the spectacular mojito that has slowly left my taste buds and is escaping my pallette all together...

Dear Mr Phil, I plead with you! I am on my knees giving you all my worldly possessions, ill even donate my entire family to work for you as the world is nothing and all of life is an empty void without the amazing taste of your coffee in my life.

Please come to Cleveland (west side) I have scouted locations for you, ill even map it out for you and do all the leg work! Heck, I'll build it by hand if i have too!

well, at least I get to enjoy the 4 cups of iced mojito coffee that i drank, it was so good i refused to try anything else!

I had a date there today. Loved seeing the pride flags on the counters, made me feel very seen. The employees were very sweet and genuinely so nice. The coffee was phenomenal. Would absolutely recommended young and old LGBTQ+ people go there.

Super friendly and helpful staff. They will totally customize your coffee to get what you want without a crazy price. I love the safety precautions. They really have it down without it being a confusing mess. They have nice restrooms and lots of sanitizer and hand washing area. Everything was simple and the outdoor tables were nice. We got delicious drinks for our relaxing Sunday morning stroll.
