Blaze Pizza

Expect at least a 10-15 minute wait for walk-in orders, even if there's no line in the store. I went around lunchtime on a weekend and staff were preparing a fair amount of take-out orders. I ordered a 1-top pizza (one topping - $9) with garlic pesto sauce, mozzarella cheese, and mushrooms. Despite the number of orders they were juggling, staff were very friendly and took the time to give me personalized suggestions about how much sauce to add as well as generously sprinkle on mushrooms. I like the customization options here, there are many toppings (sausage, peppers, garlic, etc.) and sauces to choose from. The oven nicely crisped the crust but slightly burnt the edges.
There is a lot of indoor and outdoor (shaded) seating available. I enjoyed eating at Blaze and would recommend it as a great, fun option for a personal-sized pizza you can cater to your tastes. Just be prepared to wait a while during peak hours.

This is a great place for make your own pizza in Davis. There are premade combinations to choose from but you can edit them to add or take out certain ingredients. My friends and I got the spicy pizza and the meat lovers pizza.

Create your own pizza or salad or both. Super friendly. Cauliflower crust is delicious!

I super duper enjoy how customizable your experience can be at Blaze! If you're not in the mood to whip up your own creation, they also provide fan favorite choices to ease your decision making.

I always opt for the BYO (build your own), as the topping choices are ENDLESS. Best bang for your buck, in my opinion. Also, I recommend asking for EXTRA crispy so you can get that good bottom crust that will fold over and not sag when you go in for a bite!

Great quick place to get a pizza. Everything is really fresh and you can detail out exactly what you want and how much you want on your pizza. Staff was very helpful.

Good pizza and great prices. I've been here about six times with my teenage son who always orders a simple pie. Since prices have shot up so much with inflation, Blaze has held the line much better than most. I really appreciate that!!

Blaze Pizza is the first place that I choose to eat when we are in Davis, CA. It’s a small restaurant but they are very accommodating and friendly. I am able to get gluten-free crust on most pizzas and other items on their menu. You will not be disappointed if you give this place a try.

It took a little while to get the pizza but that's no fault of the workers. They just had so many orders online to take care of. Just know that you might be waiting a little bit for your pizza if you want to quickly. Food is fresh and excellent though so it's worth it!

Tasty😋😋 and affordable💎💎! we have tried many pizza places across the states. Blaze pizza🍕🍕 is definitely one of our top choices👍🏿. Real fire means real deal. Crispy and thin crust, combined with unlimited free toppings(BYO only), add that house red sauce🍕🍕, you just could not have enough! There is a Starbucks nearby, so usually i eat myself to food coma at Blaze pizza, and revive myself at Starbucks 🥰 Love Davis!

Place is clean, employees are nice. Service to fast too. Food is really good, cooked to perfection. If only they made it where the cut the pizza fully then it would be awesome. But I understand that they are at rush hours. Would recommend this place.

Always reliable. Very helpful people in putting your pizza together. Quality is better than average and the price is very reasonable. Lot of students in the eating area bring youthful energy that makes the experience even better.

I got a pepperoni and ham pizza with extra cheese and the oregano absolutely phenomenal and they'll cook it extra for you if you ask. Overall great service and good food. Highly recommend giving this place a try

Quick, delicious, and very reasonable for a pizza where we could pick our own ingredients! We each had the half-pizza and side salads--my berry salad was fresh and yummy! We will be back, wished there was a Blaze Pizza in Reno!

The pizza is the best bang for buck deal in town! You can get a build your own pizza and add so many toppings because the only price you pay is the flat fee for the build your own pizza. Very professional staff, in and out very quickly!

Best pizza in town! I have tried several places and to me this is the best one. You can build your own, select your ingredients and you can see how the pizza is made in the fire oven. It is also very cheap compared to other places. It is always crowded, lines reaching the street very often, which is a good sign. They even have a small terrace.

The pizza here is really good! I am very picky about pizza but I really like what they have and it’s fun to pick all the toppings. The price is very fair and all the staff are really nice (and helpful if you are there the first time and don’t know what to do!) They also have really good drinks (non alcoholic).

If you like pizza made in fire not an oven this is the place. The dough has Olive Oil in it and they have Gluten Free Dough also. The pizza gets cut any way you want. Build Your Own Pizza I think is the best bang for your buck!!All the toppings you want and NO extra charge for more toppings. They do warn you about having Too much toppings won't cook all the way through.

For $8, the Build your own pizza was fantastic. Toppings were delicious and crust was nice and crisp even though I loaded it up. Service is very quick but depends on the line. Great choice for a quick meal.
