Chill coffee shop in Davis. Brought my own cup in and tried the vanilla cardamom latte, with the potato burrito. Both were delicious. The latte flavor was subtle and smooth. They burrito is a good size to share with a friend.

Here from out of town and stopped in for some coffee before walking around davis. The bagel was very fresh, well toasted, and they were generous with the cream cheese. The latte was delicious as well. And they delivered each of my items to me in the cafe so I didn't need to get up either time.

They have small medium and large coffee size options, but they don't have skim milk, only 2% or whole when it comes to cow milk. The environment is adorable and they have bar seating looking out the windows or cafe table seats. They have a select number of breakfast items or pastries too.

As I sit it seems they have a number of regular customers and that speaks well to the place to have people consistently returning either for the coffee or the workers. The main barista was training a new employee too and they were doing very well both teaching and learning.

Wonderful and cozy family-owned cafe. Delicious and reasonably-priced breakfast/brunch/lunch food, as well as espresso drinks and baked goods. Their cakes and samosas both looked phenomenal! We had a breakfast bagel, hazelnut hot chocolate, turkey club panini + avocado, and a blended vanilla cardamom latte. Delicious!! The hot chocolate is a SMALL but it was huge! The husband and wife duo who own the cafe are very sweet and hospitable. There are nice window seats and couch/armchair seating, plus free WiFi :-) Definitely my new favorite brunch spot in Davis. Will be returning soon!

Very cute cafe! I haven’t tried any of the food here, but their hot brown sugar cinnamon latte is really delicious! I like their regular lattes as well, and the staff is always very kind.

One thing to note is that their kitchen closes at 1pm: if you stop by between 1 and 2, make sure you’ve already eaten lunch!

Very nice and quiet, and such tasty coffee! The breakfast sandwiches were nice and hot, and it really tasted like good diner food. It was small and cozy, and was a very peaceful sensory experience. The staff looked and sounded like they were having fun, and were very friendly and relaxed. Had cute frog puns for some of the coffee names, which I enjoy. Small space, but open floor, wouldn't be too hard to navigate with a cane or wheelchair

The atmosphere was super nice, service was really good. The café and the muffins were really big and tasty.

The breakfast sandwich on a cheddar bagel was amazing. Ideal ratios of everything and the scrambled eggs were perfect. There was also a tomato sauce in there?? So good. The coffee is also really tasty. The atmosphere is lovely especially in the mornings. The baristas are really nice too :) I will return

This is my favorite café in Davis. It's small, comfy, and has delicious coffee and food. They offer breakfast foods and lunch items. They're always so kind and they serve you your coffee/meal at your seat. Definitely try this place out! It reminds me of Central Perk from Friend's.

Very laid back vibe. Responsive staff are quick and detailed with remembering orders. This place is an excellent stop for a morning snack or lunchtime sandwich and coffee. Or just to get work done. The lack of parking shouldn't put you off, considering street parking nearby is plentiful. But honestly speaking most people will be biking or walking here. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking to get away from the larger, noisier spots downtown.

Great coffee selection. Prices comparable to other coffee places. Black coffee is great & hearty but NOT bitter! Meets the need! Healthy latte fabulous. Nice seating outside. Staff is simply super-- one of nicest & most efficient in Davis, a rarity here; they always get order right without a lot of back & forth! Pleasure to patronize!

I love this little coffee bar! I wish more Davisites would make the detour to G Street to check it out. The drinks are great, including some oddities like the lavender mint latte. The owner is wonderful, and she employs university students as staff. The students are always friendly and a joy to chat with.

I stopped by Black Frog Coffee while driving through Davis for a morning pick me up. The staff were professional, observed COVID guidelines, and made a great latte.

I ordered an iced Vanilla Bean Cardamom latte which was delicious, not too sweet or bitter. I also liked how they did not overdo the ice so it was mostly coffee instead of watered down. Definitely recommending this cafe to friends and if I am in the area again, I will try their other drinks.

Friendly and nice staffs and good atmosphere. I felt at home while I was there. Today's special 'Pumpkin spice latte' was also good.

The other day, I ordered Barista Sandwich and Vanilla Bean Cardamom Latte. Both were delicious and I really love them💕

This place is great! I’m not usually a big coffee fan, but I decided to give the place a try. I was helped by someone named Jocelyn, who was very nice and helped me pick out a drink (since it was my first time there)! The drink I got was an iced raspberry white mocha. I’m lactose intolerant, but they were so kind with giving me alternative options (I ended up going with almond milk)! Then I chilled inside for a while, which is super nice! I sat on the couch inside and read for a bit. I’ll definitely come back!

Black Frog Cafe set up a wonderful space for our off-site work meeting one morning. They were so prepared, accommodating, friendly and hospitable. Drinks were affordable and delicious. A very nice experience!

I have no idea what sauce/salsa is in that breakfast sandwich, but I could drink it for days. The breakfast sandwich was beyond delicious. We had a moderate-sized order and everything was delivered at the same time and everything was the correct temperature. My sandwich was on a croissant and it was warm and despite the salsa it was not soggy. Yum! The Chai Latte I ordered was the best I’ve ever had from any coffee shop. Definitely a place I’ll be revisiting when I am in town.

My bf and I visited this spot and it 100% lives up to it's reviews. We tried both breakfast burritos (which are large portions, great deal for the price 🙌), the drip coffee and the cinnamon sugar latte. All of it was delicious, especially the latte, and the service was great. If I still lived in davis this would be a regular spot for weekend brunch & coffee ❤

This place has the best breakfast bagels ever! I went here because people from work sent me. I tried their suggestion and loved it. The owner works the place, so he makes sure to treat you right. After going in for a couple days, he remembered the whole order. The food and coffee is delicious. The ambient is great. Super comfy place to hang out or catch up on work. It does take some time for you to get whatever you ordered, but the place is nice. Love to visit every time I am in town.

The staff is incredibly friendly and the cafe is nice and cozy. The coffee is really good, and they have this turkey pesto wrap that is the best wrap I've ever had. Great place to work on the computer or take a lunch break.

Great coffee and very friendly people. I usually only get coffee, but once I got a sandwich and it was excellent. They have a water dish outside for dogs, and it has always been full and clean. Sometimes they give me sausage for my dog.
