San Francisco AV Rentals

I rented my speakers last weekend and I had an amazing experience renting with the company. First off the speakers were great and worked really well for an outdoor setting. Additionally, they were kind enough to explain how the speakers worked and walked through the process patiently. They were also flexible with me returning the equipment a little late.
Overall great company and i would definitely recommend any one renting from them

It's a very smooth experience working with AV Rental. We booked our equipment pretty earlier for our event, and pick them up on one Friday morning. They provided us a quick and easy demo to teach us how to learn the equipment, which makes our setting up at end much easy. Highly recommend SFAV! I rented from the San Jose location but the customer service and equipment rental process was excellent. SJAV has everything you could possibly need to throw an event - the equipment selection is top of the line, is well maintained, and will make sure you have everything you need (cables, extension cords, power strips, stands etc.)

I picked up on Friday for a weekend rental and received a thorough set up tutorial and made sure my equipment worked with their system. Returning on Monday was a breeze. Will definitely be renting from SJ/SFAV again!

We hired Josh to do string lighting for our wedding day. It was super last minute as two weeks before our wedding, we moved the dancing outside to avoid having to wear masks indoors.

With an outside dance floor I thought the string lights would be the perfect addition. Even with such a short notice, Josh pulled together these beautiful string lights arrangement - our wedding looked like something out of a magazine. Thank you Josh and team!

SF AV Rentals is managed well and the staff offers exceptional customer support. When I picked up a projector and screen for an event, I was instructed on how to setup and breakdown the equipment. The staff is professional, skilled, and a pleasure to work with.

I was completely in the dark with what sort of AV equipment I would need for my event. They were able to sort out exactly what I needed with a quick phone call. Pick up and drop off was efficient and easy, they even walked me through setting everything up, and threw in extra dongles that I might need to connect to my laptop. Great service all around.

Great experience they are very accommodating. Had a issue with pick up during COVID they found away for me to get the equipment in a timely manner instead of leaving me out to dry. The equipment rented was in good shape also I didn’t feel that at any point I might run into an issue with a failure of equipment.

Excellent selection and competitive prices... HOWEVER, This company no longer has a storefront or pickup-dropoff presence in San Francisco. You need to either go to San Jose, where they are located, or pay a delivery and pickup fee that starts at about $200, depending on date and time. If you're just looking for a local company in SF that you can grab you gear from yourself, unfortunately this isn't the one.
