Mill House Cafe - Franklin

Wonderful coffee house. Food, service, soft quiet music, decorating!!!, cozy comfy seating, efficient friendly service, good temperature, good lighting, clean restrooms! Wonderful experience. Stopped by recently while my dogs were being groomed nearby and had a nice visit. Was able to work on my laptop while enjoying a delicious chocolate muffin with chocolate chips and a nice tall cup of black coffee. The food was really good, the WiFi was fast, and everything was priced very reasonably. Will definitely be visiting again and will try the breakfast next time I'm there. Thanks!

I just had the most generous service while taking my mother for lunch. I got a drink that turned out too sweet for me and (owner?) noticed and made me another one on the house. I was so surprised and truly touched! This is why I love to shop local. They care the most❤

Awesome customer service, very clean, quaint, & the food was delicious! I had potato soup & half a turkey sandwich and fruit tea. Went with a friend for lunch & was not disappointed! Will definitely be back!

Almost drove right by this little gem on a drive to Kentucky. If you ever find yourself within 20 min of this detour and are looking for breakfast or great coffee trust me and stop here!

I grabbed 3 things on my stop: a breakfast biscuit, a cup of black coffee, and a peanut butter brownie....

The biscuits were made fresh in house and topped with sausage a freshly fried egg and melted cheese. It was delicious.

The coffee was fresh and smooth. You can tell they don't mess with stale beans and they grind fresh as well.

The peanut butter brownie was rich without being overdone and the peanut butter complimented the moist and dense brownie perfectly. The Reese's pieces and small Reese's cups on top were a bonus.

If you are on the fence until now let me help you....

1. They are fresh and delicious but also fast!!! My sandwich was done incredibly quick.

2. They are very reasonably priced!! I spent about 9.00 for all 3 items which would have easily been 15 at a Starbucks (but the coffee here was better!)

We had an amazing experience here. The loaded potato soup and grilled cheese was great! We grabbed coffee for the road and it was outstanding as well. Would recommend the hot Cafe Mocha and the hot Carmel Brûlée! 😎

Very cute interior. Nice hangout spot for downtown Franklin. Lots of food options and coffee. Coffee was good. They have alternative milk options which was super nice.

Beautiful spot! All together a well set up space right down to the parking. I ordered a black pour over medium coffee and paid $4. Coffee is strong and if you are a Coffee lover you will like it. Strong flavor without the acidic after taste. 5/5

** update. Had a iced carmal mocha Latte....unbelievable!!!!!!!!! It's like Jesus cried in my mouth but right before, he told my dad " he is good enough "

Their breakfast burrito is divine, I wish that I knew how to make one like they do myself. They're on the pricier side, but that's kinda what you'll expect from any one one of these small town fancy smancy coffee shops or Starbucks even. I'd say it's worth it personally, I've never had anything from here I didn't like.

This place has such a great vibe, it's a perfect place to grab lunch! The food is really yummy and it's not near as expensive as chain places like Panera. I'll definitely be back again!!

A great atmosphere for working independently. Meeting clients or for meetings with our networking group! And of course thre coffees, food and service are top notch!

Great addition to our small town. Everything is always fast for 1 at a time service. Friendly staff and the Mercantile shop is a nice addition.

We always come to Millhouse coffee, for our breakfast on Saturday mornings. The staff is awesome and they have always taken really good care of us. They even accommodate my daughter's request for her squishy bacon lol. The coffee, chocolate cake, and the breakfast burritos are my favorites. Thank you guys!!

I'm not sure any description I give will do justice to this wonderful place. From the moment I stepped in, I felt welcome, relaxed, ready to settle in! I thoroughly enjoyed the Pulled Pork BBQ with the gala apple slaw. My side was a true comfort food delight, Gouda mac & cheese!

I tried the White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookie iced Latte, and was very sad when I took the last sip & realized there was no more to savor! They have a multitude of options for coffee. Hot, iced, plain, fancy! The choices make it tough to stick to a decision.

After sitting for a while to read, and letting everything settle, I was finally able to give into my desire to try a dessert. Again, so many choices! I chose the brownie cheesecake bite. Then I grabbed a cinnamon muffin for breakfast tomorrow. Will it make to tomorrow though? My will is weak... there's a lot of hours between now & breakfast!

Neat little coffee shop downtown!! I'm so glad we found this place. The coffee at the hotel was weak, so we went looking for some real coffee. Downtown is quaint and has some neat shops. I recommend stopping by the Mill House Cafe.

The Buffalo Chicken wrap was delicious 😋. The place is super cute with inside and outside seating.
