Bruegger's Bagels

I could post a rating rather commonly understood about the excellent menu and superior quality of their product but I would add that a lot of the weight carried at this location is established by the individual consumers and community surrounding in itself.

In a location not far from a winter warming center for the homeless, and in need, that I myself utilized the night before, I had that same experience. While not expecting to taste the product alone, on an account of contributions in a monetary exchange for product and services.I became blessed by a young child that day, accompanied by another patron and customer shared more than their support for the hungry, but a tradition in my life in which when I was young I too was taught this same way and have been reminded again that the less fortunate may not have had a recent meal or have even had a chance to eat at such an established business as many consider to be of the common and almost as common that we forget this Tradition.

First time trying this place! My bagel sandwich and cheese hashbrowns were fresh and great! My husband and I both enjoyed our breakfast. Will definitely visit again..

It was great. Well worth the trip. I'm in the loyalty club which they look up with your phone number, which I didn't know so my order went on that which was super great!. They didnt have one flavor I was looking for but had another(salt) that was even better because these were for my sister coming back to this state from TN for a visit. So she will be very happy😄. Plus the selection of flavored cream cheeses was great and I got to pick 2 included with my dozen bagels. Got the honey walnut and can't wait to taste it!😀

The bagels have a soft chewy texture kinda like a pretzel but even better. Being located in downtown Royal Oak you can grab it to go with a coffee or sit inside and people watch.

Every weekend we get a bagel sandwich and coffee from this place and it's consistently fantastic. Never anything other than fresh and fast. I don't know the names of the three workers that are always there but they're incredible and keep the place clean and running like a well -oiled machine.

Awesome place! Brueggers put together a great breakfast carryout combo for my sons baseball team with muffins, bagels, and fixings. It was so easy, delicious, and the price was great. A big hit with the kids and the parents. THANK YOU!

The bagels are sooo delicious. I took my mom for the first time and I ordered the smoked salmon bagels. To say the least, she's made a secret trip to go back without me lol.

A Wonderful Place to Grab a fresh cup of Coffee!!(Fabulous!!) The coffee here is fabulous!! Beautiful! Robust flavor ,truly satisfying!! Bagels are excellent too! So many varieties and different add on choices for a satisfying Bagel. Any Bagel is good!( just the bagel itself! Yum! Hard to resist! A wonderful employee! Kind and helpful! Great Smile!

This place is awesome. It's a small menu but I appreciate it, because it means they can make them fast and with consistent quality. I've had the smoked salmon bagel twice now, and it's a pretty big serving, definitely worth the price. The twice baked hashbrown cakes are delicious. This is our new "bagel place".

This place is awesome! The food is amazing and always fresh and the staff is always very friendly. You are always helped in a timely matter as well no matter how busy. Ryan, one of my fav workers there, makes my day significantly better every time I go in which is 70% of the reason I go frequently. He is always bubbly to every customer who walks through the door and makes the customers feel like an A list celeb because he remembers every single persons order. 10/10 place and staff. I recommend. Give my boi Ryan a raise!

Great staff, great coffee, great food, and free wifi! I go here nearly every week after getting produce from the Farmer's Market, which is just a block or so away. Very convenient!

For vegetarians, I suggest the Western (request no bacon) on an everything bagel. The seeds provide solid nutrients and it tastes great! Dark roast coffee is delicious.

This location features booths, tables, and windows along the street-side walls (plus a section with a solid wall for stability and privacy, if you dislike sitting in view of the street).

Their bathrooms aren't in the cafe, strictly speaking. You have to walk through a door and down the hall to a public bathroom with two stalls. It could be better labeled, but you can always ask if you can't find it! The staff are nice and helpful in every respect.

They also have high chairs for smaller children, if you need them. The kids might also enjoy looking through the window to see the bagels being made in-house!

Got the bacon, avocado, and tomato sandwich without bacon and the smoked salmon bagel and both were amazing!

the staff was very kind and respectful. we got two bagels and the classic wrap, we all enjoyed our food and were very happy. the place is clean and they have a window where you can watch some of the bagel making process. we will definitely be coming back.

I really like this place. I just moved from NYC and this was a awesome find. The bagels are super fresh and a ton of options. The manager Dan is super great and is always taking orders. He always smiles and is super upbeat (I don’t know how someone can be that happy everyday) it is so nice to have customer service like that. I will always come here for quick breakfast

Great 2 egg bagel sandwiches. The staff is professional, friendly, and helpful. Perfect size and cost for a quick lunch if you work downtown. Try the cinnamon chip muffin with a Nantucket nectar pineapple juice. Overall it’s an excellent lunch spot!

Nice bagel place. Line was a little long but service was quick! Recommend the smoked salmon and farmhouse bagel.

Protip: Sometimes you’ll find coupons in the mail! Take advantage of those deals :)

Very delicious toasted salt bagel with butter. Indoor dining room was closed but that was ok since I ate in the car.

I am always taken care of by the woman in a braided red bun and a young lady with blonde hair (always at the register). They are amazing. Always have my egg sandwich ready for me before I go to work! Lol Thank you ladies!

A Royal Oak staple and gem!
It's not a coffee shop exactly, but every morning we pass several others because we like Bruegger's coffee the best.
I've never had a breakfast sandwich here that wasn't excellent (though the smoked salmon is probably best). Same goes for the service - all the staff is friendly, even at 6am!
