Earthworks Cafe & Lounge

In town & wanted to try this new spot. Super nice staff, food came out quick (ordered the gravy & biscuit to go) and my iced latte was delicious!

The gravy & biscuit was a great serving. Gravy has a little kick to it but fantastic. Latte didn’t need any flavor, they use quality beans.

The space is massive, lots of seating available. Plus covered outdoor seating. I was here around 9:30am so not sure on the afternoon time what it’s like but if you’re coming in for breakfast, it’s nice & quiet.

Definitely my new spot in Newark when I come out this way.

Creative cocktails and delicious food in a really cool space. We've been looking forward to dinner at Earthworks and our experience was fantastic! The bartender stopped by our table several times to check on us and make suggestions. Even though the restaurant was very busy, our meals were delicious and the service was very friendly. The fennel crusted salmon entree was outstanding! I'm excited to try their weekend brunch menu next!

We went here for coffee and lunch today. Oh my gosh -- I don't know where to begin. I moved to Newark from Columbus a few years ago, and one of the things I have lined for is a good casual spot that can meet different needs: a place for breakfast, for meeting with a friend, for working with a change of scenery, for a cocktail and people watching. When I lived in German Village in Columbus, I loved Mojoe Lounge for just that. But Earthworks is way bigger and better. I like it more than any coffee shops in central Ohio I've been to, far and away. I can't wait to hear back for dinner or a performance, or just to grab a drink with my boo.

Seriously, just such an excellent place, and I'm jazzed to become a frequent patron.

Every evening I have taken friends or family here the food and service have been excellent! And the brunch menu is fantastic as well. I can’t wait to see Newark Station continue to grow and develop, keep up the great work and cool vibes.

I’m local to the Downtown Newark area and this is a fantastic addition to a blossoming area.

They’ve mastered the art of repurposing a once industrial space into a welcoming lounge.

The mix of industrial (brick & beams) with the modern art decor gives this space plenty of life.

With ample seating and open spaces, the area doesn’t feel crowded. The seating is a mix of barstools, comfortable seats, and couches. They play mellow alternative music in the midst of coffee shop noises (grinders, glass mugs clinking, etc).

They best part is how impressed I am with their service! My wife and I have been greeted immediately upon arrival and provided service within seconds of walking in.

The coffee (both hot and iced) has been FANTASTIC! They grind and brew their own coffee inside the location, which is an added touch in my opinion.

Very pleased to have this location in Newark!

Great food, service, and drinks!! Bartenders Emmet & Ian are SO friendly, attentive, and kind! The atmosphere here is also wonderful, I'm so grateful to have somewhere like this locally in Newark. I highly recommend checking it out!! Great place to bring friends and family.

We love coming here! Hometown feel, unique setting - nowhere else in town like it! Friendly service and delish food! Extras, like live music, trivia, bingo and volleyball are great bonuses.

Beautiful, modern atmosphere with a light breakfast menu. Fantastic service and ample seating.

Update: Came back for dinner tonight and got the Sesame Salad with Salmon. It was great. The beer and liquor selection is also top notch.

I've been here in both the morning and at night and the front of house service is solid, as well as the quality of the food and beverages that they're serving. This place rules.

Came in with my wife for coffee. Had a server named Emily who gave us alott of information on the coffee and place. Asked if my wife wanted her pastry warmed and even added a side of butter for her banana loaf. Lattes were great with pretty art on them. Will be back soon

This is state of art. I can’t believe how every detail of this place is so atheistically pleasing. The colors, the textures, the decor, the food, the music. I was so blown away. The highest quality vibe. Great job.

Had a great brunch here with friends! Atmosphere is always on point and our server (wish I could remember his name) was awesome. Food was good overall! Hashbrowns were a little sad but everything else that was ordered at the table looked great!

I attended an event here. It was my first time here. We only had coffee, but everyone was friendly and service was fast. I will go back. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed.

We were in town to see family July 27 and thoroughly enjoyed trivia night. The entire facility is fantastic, a real gem. The food is outstanding and the staff is very friendly and engaging; and they provided great service. We enjoyed it so much that we went back for lunch the next day. Again, the food and cocktails (beautiful bar) were great and the coffees afterward were perfect.

Super cool cafe! We stopped in for a late breakfast and loved it. They did a great job on the decorating and the food was amazing! This was by far the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had! Look forward to trying their lunch and dinner options next!

Stopped by with my wife for dinner. Food was good. Stout burger had great taste but was an absolute mess. Wife got the steak fritted. She loved the flavor. Waffle fries were a little disappointing- just clearly frozen. I got a "fresh mow" cocktail, which was fun and tasty. Cocktails are definitely a little overpriced.

I was in the area visiting when a local recommended Earthworks Cafe. When I travel I am always on the hunt for great coffee, food, a drink and atmosphere. Newark Station hits the mark on all counts! The fresh roasted coffee makes it rich and flavorful. Absolutely delicious. The food is made from fresh ingredients and I could tell it was made with care and flavor. Earthworks Cafe & Lounge offers up a perfect morning brunch with your friends or date night meal. I even stopped by during lunch and had a great atmosphere to put some work in remotely. Truly a fantastic place, it’s great to have good spaces like this in a community. Highly recommend!

Good food and service! Ian was a great waiter. Really enjoyed the live music on Saturday night. Keep it up!

The entire place, inside and out, was so cool! Lots of comfortable seating nooks inside, very current vibe, great finishing touches everywhere, and they host different events so I like to attend. The service staff are very friendly and tried very hard to get to everyone on a busy night but they're looking for more people to hire. I'll go back again and again! Love it!
