Waffle de Lys

This is truly a hidden gem of Gatlinburg and had the most delicious waffles! Was one of the top highlights of our whole trip! We were able to enjoy these delicious waffles for 2 days. The staff is friendly and very patient because I couldn't decide what to order.

I got the cookie butter waffle and it was great! This place was definitely one of the highlights of my trip! Very delicious, presentation is beautiful and the service was great. I wish there was shade to sit down or a seating area but nonetheless, 5 stars!

What a great addition to the main strip in Gatlinburg. The workers are so kind and took there time to make sure we had exactly what we wanted. The product came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. I only got the coffee on the first visit but will definitely be back. Everyone should give this place a try.

Walked by here yesterday and was drawn in by Danny. He gave my group some samples of Caramel, whipped cream, and cookie butter. He told us we would not regret it and he was not wrong. This place has some amazing dessert combinations and the waffles are made fresh and large compared to other places I’ve tried. I got La Crunch because Danny recommended it. I was so undecided and he swore by it. I was not disappointed. The service was wonderful through and through. Thank you for the recommendations and great service Danny. I did not catch the servers name, but she made my dessert with care. This will be a stop during any Gatlinburg trip for me. I highly recommend for anyone!

We were in town for 2 days, and I ate here twice, if that tells you anything about how good it is! The waffles are delicious. I recommend getting ice cream instead of whipped cream! Also, they’re super filling!

We were obsessed. Definitely get the waffle with ice cream, strawberries, chocolate and caramel. We loved it so much we went two days in a row. Great customer service as well.

Wanted a dessert but didn’t want the typical cookie cake or donut. This was perfect choice. It’s not on the strip so you have to look for it. If you like a Belgian waffle dessert than this perfect place. I got the la crunch with ice cream. Cost me $14

BEST BELGIAN WAFFLE EVER! Served hot, crispy, and with all the fresh toppings! I ordered the L’exotic with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and strawberries, absolutely delicious and perfect dessert! Highly recommend if you love waffles and craving something sweet and delicious! Enough for two people or just one! 😋 The French lady that served us was very sweet and provided a wonderful service!

My girlfriend and I were walking through Gatlinburg looking for something sweet as we were met with a free sample of their delicious cookie butter. As we finished that sample, we were handed a stick of caramel to try. Both were delicious. We decided on a hot chocolate float, and after tasting it, quickly went back to order a waffle. The flavor was jaw dropping!!! Absolutely amazing!! I highly recommend to anyone looking to tend to their sweet tooth!

If there was words for this waffle like treat it would be fluffy, crispy, and tasty! Since we got here we've been dieing to try this because we got a taste of the caramel and whipped cream when we passed by. The staff is always pleasant, polite, and funny. I got "La Classic" which had chocolate, bananas, and strawberries. See you next time!

ABSOLUTELY amazing. The waffle was freshly made, the ingredients were fresh, there was an option to add ice cream on top, and it tasted out of this world! We randomly found this place, but we’re definitely coming back again! 10/10

This is a hidden GEM!! We purchased four. Caramel and the waffle were to die for! Everything was delicious and the service was AWESOME. Danny R & Joan were the best!!! This is our last night but wont be our last visit to Gatlinburg because of this place.

This was the best waffle place I have ever been too! The cookie butter was AMAZING!! The waffle never got soggy and it was warm and tasty! The lady was also super nice and also made sure that our waffles didn’t get wet in the rain! 10/10 recommend!

So far the best Waffle I have had. The waffle, the chocolate, the cream, the crunchies everything is so good & delicious. The staff is very generous and friendly and helps you customize your waffle as per your choice.

Ohhhhh dang! This little French lady knows her stuff. The best sweet treat on our whole trip to the Smokies! Absolutely the most delicious REAL food we had all week. Whole ingredients. Real chocolate real butter real cream! You rock! We had the LaCrunchy! Too bad it was our very last day or we would’ve had at least 3 more visits here!!!

I got the french hot chocolate toasted marshmallow and it was SO good. I got two two days in a row and my boyfriend got the cookie butter milk shake. We are home in bed and still shocked at how delicious they both were. 10 OUT OF 10

The best dessert in Tennessee by far Warm Belgium waffles layered with deliciousness on top from bananas, mangos, strawberries, coconut, nuts, warm Belgium chocolate, caramel, cookie crunch, and the best fresh whipping cream on top. And if you can handle it, ice cream can be on the side.

Absolutely fantastic! Added a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Definitely hit the spot. We tried this after attempting the crepe place twice and being shot down (closed without warning). I would definitely recommend.

Highly recommend!! We got hot chocolate, latte, and the La Crunchy and added caramel. The waffle was crisp and not soggy. It was soooo good and enough for me and my kids to share! I wish I knew the guy's name working Saturday night 12/11/21 he was very friendly, funny and overall amazing to talk with, and not to mention multilingual! This will now be a stop on every future trip to the Smokies!
