Ed's Shenandoah Hardware

These guys were awesome. I wasn't looking for much when I stepped into the store (a hacksaw) but, unlike the big box stores the staff was so friendly and helpful that I have found my new hardware store. 2 thumbs up.

Slightly higher priced than the big box stores but I'll gladly pay it for the convenience and knowledge they have here. No need to even shop around for what you need they'll go straight to it and have you in and out in no time. Large selection of just about anything you need.

Actually have employees to assist you with whatever and carry oddball stuff you can't find on a big box shelf.

The staff that work there are fantastic. Very knowledgeable and very helpful. He was very patient to find out the best needs for us.

This place is great! Will definitely be back. Affordable all wood swings, plumbing, electrical equipment, etc. but best of all- PRE SEASONED CAST IRON!!!!

Needed a couple connections. The person helping me took excellent care of me. He showed me what I needed to use and got it for me.

Always thought it was a charming place but never had the opportunity to visit. They have a little bit of everything which is quite nice as the big box stores are several miles away from Shenandoah and no one wants to make that track in rush hour traffic because you are missing a part to do a DIY project. They've come in really handy as I have had several projects where I was missing one thing. It used to mean a 30-45 minute round trip experience, but now I can hop over to Ed's in five minutes. The prices are competitive with the big box stores too on your every day items. I don't go to the big box stores now unless I just absolutely have to.

This is always my first and, 9 times out of 10, the only stop I'll ever need to make for misc hardware, fittings, and anything else that bigger box stores would take forever to do. The service here is phenomenal and they know exactly what you need and make your visit as painless as absolutely possible to get you back working on your project.

Just moved from Texas to Baton Rouge and love to give my business to local stores rather then big box stores. Eds had what I needed and helpful staff.

Friendly, personal service. Convenient parking. They always have what I'm looking for, and helpful advice is included.

Walked in and literally within about five seconds was asked if I needed help and was shown where the exact tool I needed was. In and out in two minutes. Can't beat that customer service.
