City Drug

We have had nothing but great experiences with City Drug. I walked in on a Saturday morning before a vacation and discovered I didn't have any refills for a medication. Everyone made sure I was taken care of with a filled script for my vacation. My husband experienced a supply issue with his diabetic medication, he was given suggestions and options to make sure he didn't go without. Just what our family needs in a pharmacy!

Beats the heck out of a grocery story pharmacy! Kelsey and her team are amazing AND on the off chance you have to wait for more than 3 minutes to get your prescription, there’s coffee and ice cream next door. They’ll also deliver refills to your door for free and they support countless local events and organizations. Seriously, best pharmacy in town.

Incredible customer service. I was denied a certain generic at a larger pharmacy, so decided to try City Drug. I was floored with the customer service and communication. Truly excellent...they deliver AND have the cutest location in downtown Cheyenne!

Hands down the BEST pharmacy in town, and I would say even in the state! They are easy, convenient, and fast! The staff truly provide the best service and they are so pleasant and courteous. What used to be a dreaded chore and a long wait in pharmacy lines has now become a pleasant part of my day! The store also carries all of your basic pharmacy needs in a pinch. If I could give them 10 out of 5 stars I would!

Rave!! City Drug Pharmacy! They are The best pharmacy in town! I was going to pick up Symbicort, after insurance it cost 400.00!!! I can’t do that. They went way above and beyond looking for an alternative. They waited on my dr to respond because they Found something comparable! They could have given up. After all they are very busy. But they didn’t. I finally after say 20 years have a daily meditation that can keep my asthma outbreaks from happening!! No one else bothered. A VERY TEARFUL THANK YOU FOR CARING!! There is absolutely no pharmacy better than this one. Since opening its doors this pharmacy has had one priority, customer service, and they have exceeded my expectations every time.

My dog is on a number of medications for epilepsy. If he misses a dose, his day is hard. When I had his prescriptions filled at a corporate pharmacy, we would timely call in his refills but would have to constantly follow up to make sure it was filled. When I learned that Kelsey was opening this pharmacy I changed my dog’s prescriptions and I never looked back. City Drug fills scripts almost instantaneously (or at least as fast has modern science recognizes). On top of that, they deliver. For free. Let me repeat that. FOR. FREE. Also Kelsey handled the entire process of moving my prescriptions to City Drug.

While it is nice to have my meds delivered there is also an incentive to visiting City Drug. Popcorn. The world’s greatest popcorn. Made with a popcorn machine. On a Monday afternoon, there is no better snack than City Drug popcorn.

I started a new medication and the pharmacy I’ve been going to for 20 yrs was never able to get it in stock.(waited 3 weeks). I was in a world of hurt, literally. My doctor finally suggested trying City Drug. They had the medication in stock! And it seems they have free delivery too. I love the feel of their store in the old, downtown part of Cheyenne. There is also a coffee shop attached to the pharmacy which is awesome for when you need to have a prescription filled. (I had a chai latte that was sooo good). Anyway I would highly recommend city Dug!

When I was new to Cheyenne, City Drug was close to where I moved. I asked if she accepted Good RX and was told, "I have a plan that will top Good RX," which is true; cheaper and reasonably priced. Also, the vast majority of the time, my prescription is already filled. I literally walk in, they pick it off the shelf and I'm on my way. Six star business!

Switched to City Drug as our daughters military insurance coverage kept changing. Decided to move the whole family as this is easiest. Our prescriptions have been ready quickly and pricing is comparable to what we were paying. Kelsey is on it and even offers delivery which we have not utilized to date. If you are looking to switch- do it. No more big corporations, just a local community member.

Out of all the pharmacies I've ever been to, this is the best pharmacy I have ever used. Their quick on their deliveries and the staff are very good people.

A good friend of mine recommended City Drug to me and I decided to switch based on the fact that they offered delivery, and I wanted to support a local small business. I went to my doctor and she sent my new prescription to City Drug. I drove 10 minutes from the doctor's office, to the pharmacy just to let them know I was switching, and to ask how long it would take to fill. When I got there my perception was already filled! Kelsey was so kind, she said she would handle switching over all my families prescriptions over from my old pharmacy and I didn't have to do a thing! 10/10 so glad I switched!

I have been a life long user of big name pharmacies, they always got the job done but I didn’t know how much more convenient and personal my experience as a patient could be. The pharmacist, Kelsey, takes the time to answer questions and have a chat. She knows my health conditions and tells me about my medications and what I can expect. Big bonus, City Drug delivers so if You don’t have time to go pick up prescriptions youre able to have them delivered to you which is great On sick days . I have always loved supporting small business but supporting a small business that’s trying to keep the historic downtown alive and in it original glory is even better. Shop local, support small business, and no better place to start than here!

Recently switched pharmacies so that I could support small business in Cheyenne and could not be happier. @Kelsey James has been amazing. Switching my prescriptions was a breeze, she did all the work. I later found out she had to make a trip to my earlier pharmacy because they would not fax her the info she needed. More recently, City Drug filled my prescriptions and had them delivered promptly, which was huge for me. Thanks Kelsey! You have a customer for life!

I decided on a whim to have my prescription sent to City Drug and it was an excellent decision! Friendly, fast and personal service! They also offer delivery and they sell popcorn to help those without insurance and the homeless. Best small business pharmacy!

I have a Great Dane and he recently got sick, almost terminally ill. He had so many appointments and emergency visits not only was I burdened with the weight of worrying about his health but the financial burden really started to add up as well. The vet prescribed him a big antibiotic regiment that was really expensive but you do what you have to do! I on a whim called Kelsey at City Drug to see if she was able to fill the prescription for my dog and not only could she do it but she could do it for cheaper than the vet and the big box pharmacies were offering it. She was able to fill it same day and she delivered it to my house. It seems like a small thing but I was able to be at home taking care of my companion and not worrying about running around town to get medications. Thankfully he has since made a full recovery and is back to his old self. Who knew pets could be City Drug patients too? On a separate note, i love visiting the pharmacy, Its like stepping back in time. Thank you Kelsey for taking care of my family and for creating such a wonderful nostalgic space in the downtown area!

City Drug is customer service at its finest. I have been a loyal customer for over a year so I speak from experience. They go above and beyond.

Excellent customer service! Our normal pharmacy was out of what my kids both needed. Kelsey got the order transferred and delivered with popcorn and suckers within an hour. We will use City Drug for future needs moving forward!

Always friendly, reliable and quick service. Plus they deliver, which great if you're working and can't leave.
