I've had a rough day and wanted a mice ,comfort food meal. I walked in, and Connie, my server, was fantastic. Super friendly and always aware of what I needed. I tried the liver and onions, and it was so delicious. Perfectly cooked, and I got extra onions. I will definitely go back again. Lots of truck parking also, if you happen to be a truck driver

Visiting family in Cheyenne and love stopping at these small diners. The people are friendly and the food tastes great.

And the food is made from scratch here. Reasonable prices. Mostly locals eating here. Just a gem of a store. Well done! It's our new favorite spot when traveling on I 80 in Wyoming. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed

Club sandwich with onion rings was excellent. $10 and change. Great food, great value.

First time trying this place out last night….. so glad I did!
They actually have Liver and Onions on their menu and since I was feeling low on energy, craving protein and hadn’t had it in years, I decided to go out on a limb and try theirs. It was the best Liver and Onions I’ve ever had….. and I use to be made to sit down and eat it at home when I was a kid. Even if you’re not a fan of it, I do recommend trying it here, you’ll be glad you did! It’s cooked just right and doesn’t have that gamey taste at all.
Whenever I’m in the Cheyenne area again, I’d love to come back and try something else from their menu.

Husband, MIL, and I are visiting here from Illinois. Everything here was excellent! Tonight, the waiter, Damien was extremely friendly and made conversation with us about the community here as were looking to move here. He gave us great advice and information. Thank you everyone and bless you all!

Hey, it's a diner. This place was recommended and went here for lunch. Food was.very good and the pie was excellent! Service was prompt and food was hot at an affordableprice point. A great.diner....nothing fancy but great food and service. Will definitely come back and well worth a visit

Walked in and felt like I was sitting in my Mom's kitchen.
No frills, but loads of kindness and a feeling of family.
I had some great coffee and Biscuits and Gravy with 2 eggs over medium. Top 3 easily that I've ever tasted. And I'm a Biscuits and Gravy connoisseur.
I most highly recommend Down Home Diner!

Fantastic food, very good prices and extremely friendly folks working there... The chicken fried steak was seasoned perfectly and it was the size of my hand...

10-20-21 Stopped in and had the open face roast beef sandwich and ham and bean soup. Just perfect..

Down Home Diner has great chicken fried steak breakfasts and dinners, my favorite. Their hash browns are crisp and tasty. Meals don't take forever to come out and are fresh and not over-priced. Also love their biscuits and gravy

Most Amazing Blueberry pancakes!! The fried chicken salad was a Win as well! The ranch dressing was full of flavor and the honey mustard was warm and creamy! So delicious!! Delicious 😋 I have been here twice already and plan to return as much as I can before we leave Cheyenne!! Great Prices, Food and Service!!!

Amazing food!! The breakfast is delicious. Good Portions. And the staff very very nice. I was in a group of six guys staying next door and they remembered us by name. Definitely coming back here next time we come thru Cheyenne.

Food is great.. Lori, the waitress, all the ladies and staff I'm sure work hard to serve their great home style food.. Great location ; hotels , motels , Home Depot , gas, diesel, a truckers safe haven and paradise.... stop by u won't b disappointed.. Ask for Lori, awesome attitude and waitress...

Classic truck stop diner. What you’d expect on service and food. Hash browns / home fries were a little different than what I’m used to. Nice staff. A voyage into contemporary Americana

Some of the best breakfasts I've had from a restaurant that can make my mom's cooking run for its money. As a Texan they also do Southern food very well. 11/10

My old man and I have been here multiple times in the past few months and their food is really good but the best thing I have tasted so far is their omelet smothered in green chilli. So wonderful. Only once did we have "poor service", our waitress just seemed very introverted and really didn't asked us much of anything, otherwise the place is awesome and the bathrooms in the c.store are clean and usually well lit.

Traveled from Nebraska for my Daughters softball tournament the food was amazing, the server Damion that took our order had great customer service I would highly recommend coming here. All of our children were extremely well taken care of and the prices are amazing for the amount of food. I will most definitely be coming back next time I'm in Cheyenne.

Here on a trip from California to Washington, DC. The food is awesome. This is my second time here!!! I stopped by driving from DC to Cali in 2021.

I just love Cheyenne, Wyoming. The people are friendly, kind, and it’s small city but big livin. Something like that…

Service was incredibly friendly...our waitress Connie made our Thanksgiving. The price was considerably low for the portions of food and quality of food. It is in a gas station please don't let that detour you it is amazing. It will be a must go to when in Cheyenne!!!
