We did the candy cane tour and it was super fun. Even the teenager loved it. Great shop. Very nice employees.

I love McCords! The store is colorful and the candy cane workshop in the winter is delightful. This place is perfect for getting gifts for the kids I babysit. I myself ADORE the milkshakes!!

Ever since the new owners took over, this place has been better than ever! The staff are a delight, friendly, and always up for a laugh! The selection has grown by leaps and bounds, and the food is good! The drinks are fascinating blends, my husband and I have tried almost every flavor and I don't think I've had a bad one. Great for kids!

The cutest candy store!! The upstairs seating is so nice and cozy and the overall atmosphere is great! Loved all the candies we got as well as the drinks! Highly recommend the red cream soda!

The staff greeted me at arrival and was extremely friendly and even still asked if I needed any assistance or had any questions even with a good amount of customers already present. Their selection was great and reasonably priced. I was given a few specialty selections recently added but went with my classic chocolate peanut butter shake and was very happy! All in all the friendly staff sold me on Mccord Candies and I will be going anytime I visit Lafayette as they are a staple!

Went in the candy shop today with my husband and grandma. Was welcomed when we walked in the door. They have some cute things in their store. They make old fashioned coke (which is amazing). We ended up getting 1/2 pound of candy and probably way too many chocolates (but they are worth it). We also go two of the cokes. We are from 2 hours away and definitely will be coming back. Great prices and great people. Hope you did great on the Sunday being open!

I have fallen in love with McCord Candies again! My first time in McCords wasn’t super pleasant and I didn’t want to come back. But when Billie and Angie, the new owners who took over nearly 2 years back I gave it another chance! And boy am I glad I did! They brought the magic back into the beloved candy shop of many! So happy to have them in our downtown ♥

It was hot out so we passed on the truffles this time, but the displays were very enticing. We got double scoop old fashioned ice cream in waffle cones and they were delicious. Both employees were friendly and eager to help us. The whole store was clean and organized. I highly recommend! As if that's wasn't enough....

I realized after they closed that I left my purse at the table so I was pretty stressed all night. However almost 2 hours before they opened the next day I got a message from an employee that my purse was there.She took the time to find my name on my ID and find me on Facebook. Everything including all of the cash was still in it and I'm beyond thankful.

Great experience and not very crowded. We took the 4:00 pm candy cane tour. It was a very fun and festive experience. We even got to shape our own canes! Candy Cane tours are given on the hour and cost $5 per person. Includes a famous handmade candy cane.
We also purchased some candies which were very yummy. Their chocolate is good and not too sweet.

One of a couple of shops in the United States that makes homemade candy canes at Christmas time. The carmel corn is fresh and people have to put it in there trunk to make it home.

My 3 year old loves coming here! And there’s a thrift store upstairs. So cute!

Great customer service from Evan. He helped us make a decision on which soda to get and was very outgoing which made the experience even better.

We went to the tour/candy cane class and it was awesome!! Our 8 & 10 year old loved it. The candy cane shake was amazing! We live almost an hour away, but it was 100% worth the drive!

The employees are so cheerful and talkative! They struck up a conversation with us while they were making their incredible root beer floats. They're creamy, fizzy, and extremely tasty!
