Academy Sports + Outdoors

Just a fun store to shop in. I can't leave without buying something. They have a good variety of merchandise,and the prices are comparable. They often have clearance and 50% off racks. You gotta be there to get em though.

I was looking for an item that is sold exclusively at Academy and was trying to find it online and couldn't see it in the store inventory, so I called, and then the lady searched the inventory of the stores closest to me and helped me come up with a good plan as I will be coming from out of state to make an in store pickup. I've been to the store in Kentucky and was pleased with that store and making a trip from Michigan I am looking for a short trip. Academy would be welcome in Michigan.

Academy Sports + Outdoors is a clean store. If you enjoy the outside then this is the place for you. They have everything you would need to go camping. If you like to fish and want to go fishing they have everything you need to go fishing. Need some new sneakers, boots, come check out their selection. Want some comfortable clothes even camouflage clothing come and check this place out. Want to get a new grill to cook on while camping; come and check this place out. When ever I purchase the last of something I always say that it was waiting on me. I purchase something that I should have bought a long time ago just never thought about it till yesterday. The staff are pretty friendly. If you need something they will direct you in the right direction or even go and see if they have more of what you are looking for. I would say that this place is sorta like a Cabela's with out all the animals hanging on the walls and without the RV's, ATV's, boats inside and outside of the store. I like this store. Prices for things inside are pretty good.

Nice store and the sales person was very helpful. Looking forward to my next visit to this store. I wish they had a store closer to me,

New Academy first in Indy area it looks like. I’m from Texas and people live and love their Academy Sports and Outdoors. Needed a pair of shoes while on a trip and luckily found an Academy. New store layout a little different than the ones I visit back home but great selection and priced competitively. Hopefully they can gain popularity in Indy and open more stores.

When to this location last night to grab some pacer gear and ended up losing my keys in the store. Destini and her staff went above and beyond to help me find them. What an amazing staff they have! Will definitely be back.

Love another sporting goods option. This store seemed smaller than other Academy’s that I have been to in the South but still a nice selection.

My family and I went here tonight and we had an amazing experience. Great selection and there was help offered at EVERY corner. We will use them for all our sports needs from now on. We got our son some new shoes for a great deal, a new water canteen for my husband and a new football! All were competitively priced.
