Canary Bar & Grill

My wife and I went there in January of 2023 for the first time since they remodeled the place. It is very nice on the inside and looks like a nice place to hang out outside. The menu was decent for being a bar. There was a good selection of different foods as well as a good selection of smoked foods. We started off with fried cheese curds and fried pickle straws. They were both excellent. The cheese curds were really good, the breading was different than most. The pickle straws were something different as usually the restaurants have Spears that are too big, these were just right. The wife had smoked chicken and mac and cheese. She said they were great! I had the three smoked meat plate which had pulled pork, pulled chicken and smoked sausage. I thought the smoked sausage was a little overseasoned but it was still good. My sides were baked beans and mac and cheese, which were both great.

Got the loaded chips with pork. Awesome!! Then got the sampler of the 3 meats and everything was amazing! Especially the baked beans.

Great food & great service! We had the 3 meat platter, it was excellent and priced very reasonable. It’s hard to find good smoked meat in this area. Happy to see this restaurant has opened!

Stopped in for lunch on a whim after a long Saturday morning shopping at the Amherst greenhouse. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Smallish menu, but everything we had was fantastic. 4-year-old loved the pizza sub; wife enjoyed her black and blue burger (piping hot from the grill), and my pulled pork sandwich was moist and smoky (though missing a bit of salt for my taste). Fries are a must-get, and the smoky Mac and cheese was also great. Will definitely be back!

Stopped at this cute little restaurant after going to Amhearst greenhouse. We had the pulled pork Flatbread and it was delicious! Waitress was very nice.

Very cool Little restaurant. Can't wait for summer to enjoy the patio And deck. Dairy friendly service and wait staff. Not to mention the great food.
