Fresh Healthy Cafe

Super cute cafe right across from the art museum! Lots of open seating and super helpful & sweet staff. A little pricy for a smoothie, but worth it for the vibes.

We had my baby shower at Fresh Healthy Cafe and it was nothing short of perfect! The food was absolutely delicious and it was so beautifully decorated inside. The owners are wonderful people who go above and beyond. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Everything we had was delicious. Paninis, smoothies, açaí bowl. If you’re on State St. and want really good food this is your place.

A great place to get a healthy nourishing meal in a location with some history and character. The people working seem to care about what they’re doing which makes a difference

Solid food. Only had almond milk for my coffee, but the beyond burger was solid. Prices were a bit high, but that's to be expected from a more healthy location

Ordered food items online. Order was confirmed and my money taken. Said it would be ready at 6:00 -6:05. Arrived and business was closed. As someone previously stated these people are taking money without fulfilling their obligation to provide the purchased items. Do NOT order from here!! I will be filing a dispute and contacting the Better Business Bureau and maybe even discussing with my lawyer.

So disappointed. On September 11,2023 This was my first time ordering food from this establishment. I placed my order online before having to be to work at 3. I received a text stating my order would be ready between 230-235. I received another text at 225 pm stating the order was ready 10 minutes prior to the estimated time. I don’t live that far so I arrived to the store at 235pm there were two workers there, again I have never been to this establishment so I read the signs and stood at the pick up sign to pick up my order, I was never acknowledged even after one of the workers walked right up to the counter to get something for another customer. After 5 minutes of standing there I walked around to the register and said hey I’m here for my pick up order she takes my name then proceed to make my order. At this point I’m confused and I say is my order not ready?? The online order said it was. She says no we have to make it, I ask to just do a refund because I will be late for work, she gets an attitude and tells me go on DoorDash and get a refund. I explain to her that I did not order on DoorDash I ordered through their google page, she then tells me she doesn’t know what I want her to do, so I ask for a manager. She tells me she can text her manager I say ok , she proceeds to say “what are you gonna watch me text him” I said yea so i can get some resolve. she calls her manager who states he can take my name and number to request a refund but instead he’s explaining how their business and DoorDash (who I didn’t use) has been clashing which is none of my concern. He told me “well don’t order online again” I don’t trust that he will contact them for a refund on my behalf, so basically now I was left with no food and lost out on $26. The employee had no customer service skills and clearly it stems from the owner cause he had none either.

It’s now 11:10 am store supposed to be open at 11am and is not I can see all employees inside the store not sure why they haven’t open the least they could of done was come to the door and explain they are inside just standing around I came from 30 mins away just so I can be here for when they open this is very disappointing

Terrible employees working there! order food online before having to be to work at 3 get a text saying orders ready get there at 2:30 they stand around never acknowledge me til I say something at 2:40 hey I’m here for my pick up order she takes my name then proceed to make my order I say my order said it’s ready if you have to make it now I can’t take it I just do a refund she tells me go on DoorDash and get a refund remind you I didn’t order from DoorDash she calls her manager he say he have to call and put a request for a refund so basically now I’m late for work and with no food and lost out on $26 when I receive a text saying pick up ready at 2:30
