UH Avon Health Center Urgent Care

THE BEST CARE ! From the time we checked in to the time we left all the staff was wonderful. Tatyanna was our favorite ! She made my son who is 4 laugh the entire time. She was attentive and very efficient. The doctor was amazing as well, had a great attitude and showed he genuinely cared. Having to go to urgent care first thing in the morning is never fun, thank you guys for making our visit effortless and fast.

What a fabulous experience! Nurse Stephanie and Doctor Sean were caring, efficient, and just overall amazing. They got me right in and took care of my issue quickly. I was prepared for a long wait and lots of waiting around and there was absolutely NONE! I hope I never need to return but if I do, I’ll not hesitate to come back!

What a great experience. We don't use Urgent Care very often, but this one was the best yet. Check-in was quick. We filled out most information online and made an appointment. The staff was efficient and friendly. And (Newbill) who helped my daughter was kind, funny, and explained everything before leaving the room. Good Job to everyone working this Sunday!!

Excellent care from the entire staff. The Attending Caregiver, Sean M Newbill, listens attentively and delivers exceptional care with a thorough examination. Also, appreciate the online registration and ability to schedule an appointment. Would highly recommend this center to family and friends.

Despite the circumstances that brought me to the Avon Urgent Care, it was one of the two best hospital experiences of my 54-year life (second only to my experience later that day at the UH ER). Was probably only at Urgent Care a half hour, from the time I parked and walked in. Registration rep was quick and courteous and I was taken right back. Nurse was also prompt and courteous and the Doctor/NP was equally quick and kind. She didn't waste any time telling me what she could treat (by calling in scripts), and immediately sent me to the ER for what she couldn't treat, without making me wait for any paperwork.

The convenience of having knowledgeable doctors available the same day you need them is fabulous. Dr Sean really helped me out today as I was coughing and wheezing from bronchitis. Every time I’ve been to this facility I’ve had a favorable experience. Thank you.

Amazing and so kind! I went to St John ER for severe ear pain and blocked ears. They did nothing. I went to this urgent care and they flushed my ears without hesitation, they listened to me and were so very helpful and kind and can’t say enough about them! Thank you thank you thank you! This visit was literally life changing.

This location is very convenient and efficient. The doctor was helpful and listened to my concerns. It's a hidden gem because the two times I have been there, we were able to get right in!

Aside from the wait (which is always expected at urgent care on a weekend), everyone was friendly and welcoming. We honestly didn't have to wait long, and they do offer appointments to make it easier. The waiting room is sectioned off so that you can be separated from others, which was nice. They listened to our concerns and tested/treated us appropriately. Would recommend if needed!

Great people there. I was able to get right in. They diagnosed the issue quickly and I was on my way. I would like to add the people working were very competent, spoke with me in a way I could understand my issue and they also showed a sense of humor. That was great as it helped break the ice and made me feel very comfortable. I will return here if necessary.

My daughter had been sick a few days, other doctors could not figure it out. I made an app with urgent care and the provider was upper helpful and was able to let me know what was going on with my little one. Great staff!

My husband and I recently visited this urgent care for bronchitis issues. All the staff, Kathy in triage and Jennifer in the care area were very nice and helpful. There was another woman who took our vitals and was very nice but did not introduce herself. We were very satisfied with the visit. As a retired RN, I would suggest name tags on employees. If you want to receive the accolades you work for, a name tag will make sure you get recognized.

The UH staff that they have there are the most compassionate and caring staff! Dr. Shockley and the RN Sue are the best! The secretary who checked me in was friendly and personable. Making an appointment online was easy. Seen right away.

I was very pleased with my care on December 23rd. The nurses and the doctor worked hard to take care of everyone in a timely manner, especially during this time of the year when so many children and adults are getting sick. I thank everyone of them for a great job. I hope they all get to enjoy Christmas with their families.

UH Urgent Care Avon. The check in lady, nurse and doc where all so nice and knowledgeable. Very personable. They listen to you and don't dismiss you or your issues and answer all your questions. This is the reason I (and family) go to UH. I prefer UH over the other option in town.

Had an occipital nerve flare where I could barely hold my head up and needed Urgent Care...

Was very happy with the whole team (Chloe, Jennifer, Kathy, and the young lady who took my vitals. I was taken in immediately and very impressed with how nice and friendly these gals were. I felt at ease throughout the visit and felt they took seriously the pain I was having. Great staff there. Thanks to all!

Great experience. Cut hand and needed stitches! Logged on and scheduled visit immediately. In and out within 1 hour. Everyone including Doc was great!!
