Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

Dined at Freddy's in Kearney, NE on our way from Iowa to Colorado. Now I'm not gonna tell you that dining at a Freddy's would be considered 5-star cuisine, BUT... we were starved after driving since 6.30am, and this was just what we needed. (hence my 5-start rating.). Quality food at a reasonable price, in a clean atmosphere. We arrived just after the noon hour on a Tuesday, and ordered our meals (counter service) and was able to find an empty and clean booth near a window. My wife ordered a Bacon and cheese double steak burger with fries, and I got the same sandwich, only I got the onion rings (photo.)

The food was hot, fresh, and VERY good. For 1st time customers to a Freddy's, I'd say we were very pleased.

Well, Freddy's didn't disappoint. At 12:30 pm, after serving countless customers that day, we can report that the restrooms were tidy.

Great burger, tasty fries and a fantastic strawberry shake! Dinner for two of us wasn't too expensive.

Great burgers and fries for wallet friendly prices! Stop by for a nice juicy burger, or any of their other menu items. It's all very kid friendly and has a kids menu as well. This is not, in fact, Freddy Fazbear's pizza lol

Food is always great at Freddy's. This location was clean. It was busy with people coming in on a Friday night, but they kept up with the demand and it didn't take long at all to get our food.

Just went through drive thru and treated so nicely by everyone. Burgers were perfect and Devine dill pickles. Fries and rings hot remembered the sauce and napkins. Even ask if we would like pup cup. Didn't know that you did those. We WILL be back

This place was amazing. The burger are one of the best I have eaten. Cheese curds was amazing. Very friendly and fast service.

this is one of the most easygoing places I go to eat due to the fact that I'm homeless I get looked at differently and treated much differently here I don't it's amazing the food is delicious the people are great and it's just an all-around wonderful experience for the family are whomever you decide. I would recommend this place to every last person I know.very very very very very very very very very ver very pleased

Absolutely fantastic dinner tonight. 8/5/22 830pm. Food is fresh and hot! Delicious! Fast too! Son chose this spot for his Birthday dinner and Freddy’s did not disappoint! Thanks so much, your crew did an amazing job!!!

Staff was kind and kept the dining and self-serve areas clean.
The limited time French onion burger was amazing. The fries are unique and enjoyable.

Friendly, efficient staff and our order was quick, hot and tasty. There was hardly any seating room left which tells you what the public thinks of the restaurant.

What bad things can I say about this location?
The staff is friendly, and nice. I have never had a problem with slow service. The food is always GREAT, with yet again no issues with messed up orders on anything. The atmosphere is very nice, with a touch of old-school restaurant.
Anything bad I would have to say about this location is all directed towards the customers, which they cannot control (unfortunately).

The location of it is also really nice, and convenient, but their drive-thru is a bit strangely placed. It feels like I am going down a back alley to order illegal substances, not food.
But that is just me reaching for something negative to say. Truly, if you have ever thought about visiting this place, do it. You won't regret it.

Consistent quality across their stores. The custard servings are plentiful and although there was a line, it was well worth it.
Also, the hamburgers are well cooked and fresh, making it a delightful entree with the shoestring fries.

Great service. Fair prices. Lobby and restrooms are always clean. Staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to create an exceptional experience. Food was delicious, made to order, and came quickly. Custard is a must try. Will definitely be eating here again!!

Always fabulous food! Drive-thru is a little difficult at this location, but worth figuring it out. Drive-thru speaker was clear and window worker was polite.

Passing thru Kearney we always stop at Cane's but the dining room to my favorite go to was temporarily closed. On a whim we tried Freddy's & so glad we did. Not only was the staff excellent at this location the food was delicious! I think I've got a new favorite!

This place has THE best onion rings in town. My boyfriend and I get dinner here about once a month. Our order is always correct and always delicious. They also have the good pellet ice (if you know, you know). They even have pup cups!

Curbside is great! Yes you still have to wait as if you placed your order at the speaker but you can get everyone's order in ahead of time. Employees always happy when I have come here and seem to have decent communication to keep orders moving.
