Prompt service, competitive pricing that beats the big box stores, and good old Town folks. Can't go wrong. They have a plentiful selection of different feed varieties to suit many livestock needs.

In spring they have a variety of chicks for sale.

Really neat shop with good prices and friendly and helpful staff. I now go out of my way to get my fertilizer and pre-emergent at this local business instead of the big box store alternatives.

I stopped by to get a couple vaccines with my dog Major this morning and absolutely loved the atmosphere of the store and people. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging with me and my dog. I highly recommend them!

Great location to pick up seed for the ducks! We take our kids to a local park to feed the ducks, and wanted to feed them something other than stale bread. The owner was super friendly and helpful, and what he recommended had every duck at the local park pond practically standing on our heads. 😄

If you want to buy from a business who cares about its customers, then choose Johnson feed. The amount of time and help that was spent with me on a project that I knew nothing about was not some thing that they had to do tips and tricks in regards to items that they didn’t even have. Above and beyond kind of help.

Great feed store! We get our chicken feed and pine shavings here as well as our dog food. They even have a beef liver powder to sprinkle on dog food that my dogs love! Always nice and helpful!

I’ve been a customer of this store for a couple years now. It’s a small storefront with an open garage full of animal feed supplies. I find what I need for my animals with every visit. All kinds of feed and bedding available, with some feeders and other pet supplies inside the shop. The store attendants and the owner are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They have always helped load heavy items, which is appreciated.

I read the other reviews. one about being rude to women seems very far fetched. in fact i usually get bumped ahead in service because if anything they respect us women a bit more than then men (thats a joke everyone is equal) they have great “southern hospitality.
We buy all our dog food here. plus some seeds and other few things as we need.

I need some feed regularly for my quail that is a bit hard to find, at least without taking a day off work and driving out of my way...except for the fact that Johnson Feed carries what I need, and is close. Not only do they have what I need at a good price, but they are always willing to help answer questions and at least connect me with people who will know the answers I need, if they can't answer directly. I am very happy with their service. I recommend them, for sure.

We went yesterday and it was their first day at their new location off Main St. Google Maps navigation was telling us to park at their old location and walk to the new location for some reason (hopefully that gets fixed soon). Just know that you can just drive east on Main Street and turn south onto Charles and they are on the left. I dont think there wasbyet a big noticeable sign out front, but its the white garage/warehouse looking building.

Small shop but had what I wanted. The older guy was a bit gruff but at a small farm store I not surprised. There was some confusion, on my side, and he got me straight. The younger guy was very quiet but super friendly.

I went in to buy some dog food and Johnson Feed Co. was the closest to where I could buy the particular food for my dog. I met with Mr. Johnson, the owner. Mr. Johnson is ONE GREAT GUY. Unbeknownst to me I was speaking to the owner. He was the nicest, knowledgeable and kindest man I have met in a long time. He truly cares about your pet and making sure your pet gets the correct food for a happy and healthy life. Little did I know his shop was within walking distance from my home.. Regardless, after meeting Mr. Johnson, I will be a customer for life......Thank you Mr. Johnson!

I cant say enough great things about Johnson feed. Both Mr. Johnson and Mike Johnson are the best. Mike goes above and beyond for regulars, and will do special orders. Great prices and very knowledgeable regarding nutrition. Customer service is top notch!
