Cornflower Cafe

This is a gem! Lovely, small local shop with a completely gluten free menu! I had the cinnamon roll French toast with bacon and fresh fruit and I was delighted to find that the taste and textures were spot on.

There is minimal seating but they have plenty of options for carryout. There is a bakery case full of gluten free scones, muffins, brownies, cookies, etc. and a refrigerator case full of soups, take-and-bake pizzas, several types of fresh bread, and other baked goods. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in Appleton!

This is a great little cafe! We had family in town and were searching for a vegan and gluten-free meal. This place was a complete score for every person. We had the French Toast, Turkey and Swiss, and The Waldorf. Even though I don't eat gluten-free free I am never opposed to tasty food. I liked everything that we had.
It was a tiny little place. While we were there they had many take out and pick up orders. There were a few tables to eat in. Cute decor and big plants filled the room. The door is a bit hidden, look for the blue banner.
They offered a bunch of frozen and fresh take and heat at home meals. There were specifically vegan and gluten free, also some things that were both. All the baked goods looked lovely.
We will definitely be back for a fresh lunch or fun take home!

I was told they had gluten free options. Went in to learn it’s an exclusively gluten free facility with fresh bread from that morning! Got the chicken salad sandwich which comes on a GF baguette. Wish I bought more baguettes they were the best I’ve had. Very impressed. Everyone was so kind and patient as well as we figured out what to order with kids and so many options that we are far from used to. We will definitely be back!!

What a great little cafe with no gluten in the store! A celiacs dream! I had the biscuit and gravy, and it was great. I will be coming back to try other items on the menu and grab some desert to go.

Cute place. We had an early Mother's day dinner. Food was delicious and service was great. We had fun conversations with the owner. We ordered the grain and roasted veggie salad and veggie sandwich along with a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie. Purchased some fruit drinks from the counter too. They sell organic eggs and other items.

Stopped for lunch after finding this place on the Find Me Gluten Free app. The food was amazing! There's nothing better than knowing a place is dedicated GF and celiac safe. We got the Chipotle chicken salad sandwich, turkey BLT and turkey and Swiss sandwich. They all came with chips and pickled vegetables. The baguettes are wonderful! Baked goods all looked delicious, as did the freezer selections. We will definitely be back (hopefully for a Saturday breakfast, as the menu looked amazing.

Good healthy food and great option if you need to stay away from gluten. A little hidden, but worth searching for. They don't have a lighted sign on the building, you will need to look for their banner. Friendly owners, good food - we will definitely be back!!

Beautiful quaint cafe with delicious food and friendly staff. I was so happy to see (and taste!!) the gluten free options … that had flavor!! I highly recommend :)

Very cute, small diner in Appleton. There are around 5 tables but I didn't feel rushed. The entire restaurant is gluten free which makes it much less stressful to eat.

Sandwich was great! I will stop again next time I'm in the area! The cafe was a little hard to find in the strip mall. The only sign for it is in the window, nothing on top where the other business signs are. Not too difficult to figure out though.

Second time I've eaten here. Had the summer fruit salad with walnuts, goat cheese and poppyseed dressing. Delicious! Can't wait to try something else next time!

The staff was very friendly and informative. As someone who was recently diagnosed with celiacs, it was nice to hear some advice and try some of my favorite cookies and scones. The chocolate chip and lemon shortbread was amazing. Two things I was worried about never having again! I highly recommend for both celiacs and people who can eat gluten!

First time trying out! I got the turkey and Swiss, the bread is delicious as well as everything in the sandwich. It was made well. The sandwich came with a side of pickled veggies and omg those were so good I ate them before I took the picture but I already want more. If you have a gluten allergy or intolerance, even celiac (like me) you gotta try this place out. Has so many delicious options beyond just the menu to purchase (have my eye on pickled things and soups!). Also the people there are so friendly, it felt great going into a new place like that. Adding this to one of my favorites!!

Food is delicious and healthy! Everything is gluten free and they have dairy free options as well. There's only a few tables to eat at, so if it's busy you might have to take your food home. I love Hippie Wayne's salsas and jam they sell here as well. The freezer is stocked with various soups and other items you can buy, and they have breads and bakery items for sale. I had the turkey swiss sandwich with coleslaw. Eveything was so fresh tasting.

I love this place! I’m vegan and my best friend is celiac. I love that anything I buy that’s vegan is automatically gluten-free, no worrying at all! We get together once a week & there’s always something in the freezer for me to grab & go. Had their crispy tofu sticks yesterday. SO GOOD!!

One of my favorite lunch spots - the owners really go above and beyond for their customers. My partner and I love the ham and goat cheese sandwich, and the food is always made fresh :)

Love this place! Fresh and healthy food that tastes great. Thanks for having vegetarian options. Only wish there were vegan options on the menu, but Irresistibly Healthy sells their Buddha Bowls and frozen soup here.
