This is such a perfect place to find any items you need for a sewing project. But it’s more than that. Joanne’s also carries so many items you might need for a craft project. It’s worth browsing even if you don’t have anything particular in mind. It just has that sweet feeling of possibility of all the things you COULD make when you find the time. The staff are very helpful and all seem to be people who are actual crafters, seamstresses (what on earth do you call a guy who sees because they’re there too?!) and creators themselves. They’ve got paper patterns, gorgeous batiks, fabrics of every kind, vinyl, flowers, wooden decorations, wreath making supplies, decorations and almost as important as all of these supplies, lots of yummy candy you can buy while you wait to pay. Oh! And very fun grocery shopping bags! Check the place out. I think you’ll have fun.

I recently visited JoAnn Fabric and was blown away by the exceptional customer service provided by their staff. From the moment I stepped into the store, I was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm. The gentleman at the fabric counter demonstrated remarkable patience in assisting me and my daughter with every question. His oh so soothing voice, knowledge of fabric, and attentive demeanor made the entire experience enjoyable.

Moreover, during checkout, I encountered another employee who exemplified professionalism and respect. Despite it being a busy Saturday, he apologized for the wait and efficiently checked out my order with courtesy and professionalism, further enhancing my positive impression of the store.

I'm a guy and I even love this place. They help me with fabric when I need it, I just did a headliner in a friends car and they recommended the fabric to use which turned out very nice. The cashier gave us a great discount and if you use the coupons online, you can get 20% off or five dollars off a larger purchase. Using the app helps to with the regards to saving money. Joannes is my favorite craft shop in Tallahassee period.

This was the friendliest Joann’s I have ever shopped!! And I have three near me. I came to Tallahassee to try a restaurant . Was killing time and stopped in. Everyone was so nice . It was so enjoyable . They were super busy but still took the time to talk to us . I wish this team was at my local Joann’s :)))

Great craft store for my origami and dragonfly projects. The Staff are always so helpful.

The young man who works here is one of the kindest people I've ever met. Every time I come in he's so happy to help and knows the store backwards and forwards. He's especially patient and empathetic at the checkout with older customers frustrated with coupons. He knows his stuff when it comes to sewing and had reminded me at least twice now to buy thread or to not forget my notions. Love my store.

We were there on 2/5/22 to buy materials to repair a sentimental item in our home. Megan was the person to check us out at the register, and she was just so great! She had excellent customer service, was very knowledgeable about our crafting activities, and most of all, down-to-earth and uplifted our moods. Management, you have a good one on your hands! do not work phone well . hopefully this posts . went in today and a very kind man greeted us and helped us multiple times with prices ( my eyes are bad lol ). he made each customer feel special at checkout , went above and beyond, and seems genuinely interested in what we were making and making it good.when the registers acted up he was very good and jumped to another . knew a lot about fabric stock and care and took time with older folks like me get coupons to work on stupid phone lol . will be back with photos to show him . much nicer staff than other stores in town .

The minute I walk in this store I get excited about the coming season and projects.
The staff greets you and is always helpful.
It even smell festive, with spiced pinecone in the fall and scented candles year round.

The inventory is smaller than most Joan's but the coupons can not be beat. We come here often and get our crafting fix on a budget. The employees are all about you saving that money. They're happy and helpful and make up for the few things I wish they had more of. It can get busy but they get on registers quick and try to help remedy any long lines.

Great service, and a nice assortment of supplies! Always meet kind customers. Happy place to fill sewing and craft needs.

This is a small JoAnns, which I wasn't expected. I started to give it a 4 star rating, but as I thought about it, the store deserves a 5. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Not just 1 person, everyone I talked to. The store is quite clean and organized. They didn't have everything I wanted, but I can't be upset about that.

Pet friendly! A place for creatives to pick up their essentials without getting trampled in a big box store. The staff genuinely cares and will reach out if you are looking lost in the sauce.

Joann's is always an awesome place to be with the best customer service available. I've only run into one issue while shopping there... The AC is never cool and with the majority of days in our area being hot and humid, I never stay as long as I would like. I wish the people in Ohio would take pity on us Florida shoppers and make it more pleasant. When I get hot, I leave and when I leave, I don't spend as much.

Over the last year, I have been in here at least once a weekend, if not more. While everyone is friendly, Marcus is absolutely fantastic. I have yet to see him with anything less than a smile and a loud "Hello" for every single customer that walks through the door. He will be checking customers out at two different registers and yet still manage to give each the personal service they deserve. I went into the store 2 days after a hurricane went through and left many in Tallahassee without power. A lot of the Joanne's staff was unable to make it to work but Marcus was there and while I could tell that he was stressed, he was still his usual wonderful self. He's helpful and just overall a fantastic representative for Joanne. I don't know how much he is making but it is most definitely not enough.
