Beachcomber Cafe

Loved this spot! Prices seemed pretty fair, smoothie bowl was yummy! I wish we could’ve tried some more things off the menu but overall it was a really nice/cute spot and I’d definitely come back!

Fantastic cafe with a small selection of breakfast items and baked-daily baked goods. Tried the South of the Boarder Smash, Frittata off the Day, Coffee Cake, and Blue Berry Scone - Everything was fantastic! Highly recommended it.

Another recommendation from our host at the Roosevelt Base Camp. Stellar cafe all around. Friendly service, clean cafe, great food. Açaí bowls were outstanding. Very glad we stopped by on our journey.

We got their chilaquiles and husband got the daily special. A Italian sandwich on homeade foccacia. The banana bread and dirty chai was by far the best I've had. Chai had great spice flavor and banana bread was moist. Chilaquiles was super flavorful. You can tell they use high quality ingredients and everything is made to order. So worth the wait. We cannot wait to visit again on another weekend trip. Looking forward to trying other delicious items. The backyard deck is super quite and quaint to sit and enjoy your food.

We love Beachcomber! The quality is fantastic and the space is so aesthetically pleasing and comforting. I love that they always have specials both for drinks and food. My vanilla rose latte was phenomenal, and we loved our smoothie bowls. One of the best cafes in Humboldt for sure!

2024 finds me in a year of casual travel. Lol
When morning comes. Which it has everyday so far :) I use google maps to find an interesting coffee shop for my morning cup.
I have a specific order so it’s flavor and construction differ as one travels.
This morning was Beachcomber Cafe 👍🏼
A nice comfortable establishment. Offers coffees and meals from a Togo counter and has seating there or a separate seating area for dinning I’d guess. Or hanging out.
I enjoyed the social interaction with the gentleman behind the counter. If my memory serves correct his name is was Kc…
Coffee had good flavors and consistency. Was mild on my stomach 👍🏼 and had desired affect. Woke me up for a rainy day on the coast :) thanks

We went here on the last full day of our vacation- it was chilly and drizzling so we stopped in for a hot cup of coffee. The staff was very warm and welcoming and gave us a couple recommendations on drinks. We ordered their peppermint mocha, a vanilla latte, and their coffee cake. ALL of it was absolutely divine!! I even grabbed a little souvenir for my daughter’s boyfriend there- they have a cute little selection of soaps, candles, jewelry, etc. I would absolutely recommend this cute little coffee shop to anyone in the area!

Friendly staff, great food and good coffee. Came here on a Saturday morning, ordered a cold brew, an espresso con panna (espresso with whip cream), also a The Beach Bun breakfast sandwich which was delicious. Lastly we enjoyed a lemon poppy seed muffin and lemon bar. Would definitely come here again.

The Beachcomber Cafe was the most memorable coffee shop that my husband and I visited during our trip to Northern California last month! The atmosphere is 10/10!! There is a good amount of seating inside and even more outdoors! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. I had a chai tea latte and a seasonal avocado toast - it was the best avocado toast I have ever had! The tomato was so fresh and tasted phenomenal!! My husband had a scone and some sort of cheesecake bar he really, really enjoyed both. I was just so impressed with the flavor... I'm still kicking myself that I didn't order espresso in my chai. I would have loved to at least try it. The tea was great though!! I would highly recommend Beachcomber Cafe!

We happened upon Beachcomber this morning and were absolutely delighted with our experience! The food was fresh and fabulous, the coffee well crafted and wonderful and the service top notch! This place is a gem! We highly recommend!

What a cool coffee and breakfast place where you least expect it! The owners are awesome. They made a custom organic oatmilk cold not iced latte with foam!!! Yum. The avo toast is so tasty and hearty portions too. Very happy with my choice to come here and what a great way to start your day! 😊✨🩵💗👏👏👏

This place is an all-around gem. I am so glad I came here after it was recommended to me by a local. The coffee is made using Verve and it is high quality (think Blue Bottle, but in the middle of nowhere in Humboldt County). The food was yummy as well --> I got the Beach Bun sandwich and the Brioche Bun was perfectly prepared as were the caramelized onions, egg (nice fluffiness), and side salad with local produce. The staff were delightful, too. The chef shared a nice exchange with me and the barista helped me pick my order. Also, the place itself is clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. I'd highly recommend this fine establishment to anyone!

I loved eating outside it was so peaceful and a great atmosphere. The oak bar, Day Older bread, Beloved Bean bowl, Lemonade and espresso were all amazing. I can not even pick a favorite or a recommendation because it all was amazing and the staff were so kind and awesome. Highly Recommend if it is the only place you visit!!

Stumbled upon this cute little coffee shop/bakery and had an amazing breakfast (chilaquiles) with a lavender iced latte and a blueberry scone. Everyone was so friendly and the service was great. If I lived here I would definitely be a regular!

Nice spot in Ttown for a coffee or a meal. Comfortable inside and outside seating and new friendly owners. The food is tasty, fresh and healthy.

Lovely cafe in Trinidad. This is my second time here and the service was super friendly. My friends and I enjoyed our food. It’s now a must stop for me when I’m going through the area.

Great little seaside cafe! My wife and I went there every day on our trip to the redwoods and the staff remembered our names and our order. The coffee was delicious and the whole place had a very welcoming feel to it. Highly recommended!

Been eating here for 20ish years and it’s now better than ever. Best Chilaquiles I’ve maybe had in my life…..and I live in New Mexico. Congrats y’all

While traveling North on the 101 and thinking about coffee, we happened onto The Beachcomber, Trinidad .
OMG what a find. The coffee beans/brand “Verve” are 5 star (google it!); the “vibe” amazingly relaxed AND personal.
Kye (Chai?) our “barrista” was incredible! While multi-tasking with focused intention on each task, not only did he make fabulous hot white mochas, he was “the proud face” of the establishment. He knew the recent history of the Beachcomber; how Verve coffee beans were selected by the owners, and much more. As I said to my wife when back in the car, “THAT is my kind of place; local, slow paced, great quality.” .. (not your touristy fare)

Visited the Beachcomber Cafe in Trinidad, CA on a Sunday morning. First time. The cafe was open for outdoor seating on a nice patio area. The menu was posted on the wall and we ordered at a walkup window. Service was awesome, friendly and helpful with menu selection advise. Our food tasted good and the mocha we ordered was great! A very nice cafe worth visiting, in my opinion.
