Because there were more of us, the waiting time was longer. The wait time can be disappointing. (It is recommended to share the WIFI so those waiting can kill time). After entering the restaurant, the waiter's attitude was very good, the food was delicious, and the cocktails were also delicious. It's worth the wait.

Nice little restaurant in tiny Trinidad, CA. Very interesting, creative menu choices, from salads and sandwiches to succulent seafood. Good selection of beers though many were out of stock.
Hubby enjoyed the ABC sandwich, (avocado, bacon & grilled cheese).
I had the Caesar salad topped with crab, one of the best salads I've ever eaten.
Cute gift shop attached, clean bathrooms. No bay view but that's just across the street.

We were staying at the Roosevelt Base Camp and the host recommended this place to us for dinner. So glad she did. Service was super friendly, food was fantastic, restaurant was clean and had a chill atmosphere. My brother and I loved it. Absolutely a winning spot!

My wife and I loved this small eatery in Trinidad. I was told the clam chowder was outstanding ... and it was!! I had the garlic bread bowl. I also had a root beer float with the ice cream freshly made just south in Loleto, CA at Jersey Scoops. Awesome! My wife had shrimp and chips. Shrimp was lightly breaded and the french fries were seasoned perfectly. Highly recommend!

We had an awesome breakfast. Catherine (spelling may be wrong - sorry!) was an outstanding server. She handled some other obnoxious patrons that were there while we were like a champ while making sure all of the other tables in the place were taken care of. We got the specials - sturgeon cakes eggs Benedict and stuffed French toast with cream cheese and topped with mango compote. Soooo good! I got the seasonal lavender lemonade mimosa and enjoyed it thoroughly. My husband got the cherry soda and we both really liked it. The music they were playing was good, and the interior is really fun to look around at. Would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone and hope we’re back one day to try more of their food!

This cafe has the best clam chowder ever. No bacon, just sweet delicate clams & seasoning. I ate there twice in 5 days. Wish I lived closer. Yummmmm

Started in Vancouver Canada and turned around here in Trinidad. This restaurant is hands down the best we have found. We ate so much but we wanted to try everything. The Crabby Fries is a crab version of a Canadian poutine. Loved it.

Traveling and hungry when I saw a sign that said "Eatery". I was not expecting such a delicious breakfast. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, great atmosphere, and large portions of tasty food. I was very happy that I stopped here.

Superb service and delicious food. The fresh grilled oysters were perfect! The clam chowder is one of the best I’ve tasted. I truly love the calamari steak with the pesto. Cooked to perfection too. Kudos to the kitchen and staff for a memorable experience.

The restaurant has a beautiful setup out and inside. The outdoor seating has overhead covers and very nice to enjoy your meal during sunny days!

In the inside, you will enjoy a beautiful gallery space full of local businesses/artists merchandise. Some items are very cool to own if you are passing through to remember the beautiful area with.

The dinning area, is very cozy and family friendly, it also has a mini bar. I love the natural lighting because of the large windows and if your table is by the main street side you will be able to also enjoy the view of the beautiful ocean.

I have been here about 10 times over the past 5 years I since I've moved, and the food quality and quantity is always the above and beyond. The daily/weekly or seasonal specials are always amazing especially that the workers themselves create and come up with great things. One of my favorite specials is the Albacore Tuna Cake Benedict. The onion rings are AMAZING! The prices are a bit at the higher end.

The service is always 5 stars, nice people and great attitude.

If you are a short time visitor or passing through, stop by for great food.

Food was all excellent- oysters, seafood, fries. The fish and chips came with 5 pieces of fish! Service was great and the atmosphere was charming with a very nice little gift shop full of local wares. We were very pleased we found this cute place for a great meal during our travels to the redwoods.

This place is a must stop! Don't forget to try the clam chowder! The Pandemic burger is a must, fish an chip with the house made tarter is bomb. And don't forget desert especially if they have the house made cheesecake with fresh whip!

Best clam chowder in a bread bowl we have had in a long time! I ordered and loved the garden wrap!! Their fries are also very good. If I was local, I would eat here all of the time. I would highly recommend stopping here!

Got into town just before 9am and glad we waited 15 min for them to open. Service was wonderful and food was really good. Their house made spicy sausage was great and best gravy I’ve ever had! Also a small gift shop and espresso bar inside and a block away from some fantastic views. I only wish they opened earlier because we would for sure visit again before we get back on the road :)

We stopped in on a road trip off the west coast and honestly, the best meal we had on our trip.

We unfortunately showed up right at the end of lunch service (3:45) and were told we could not be seated until the kitchen was done with all lunch orders, which was fine. We were estimated about 15 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 40. The staff however was so kind, kept us updated, and the area is nice to walk while you wait.

Once we were seated food can fast, service was top notch, and SO fresh and delish. We wished we could have rated there every day. Definitely make a point to stop in if you are in the area.

Recommend the fish and chips and chowder. Also my husband had a clam infused beer that he quite enjoyed.

I haven’t written a review in a while but had to for this place! Stopped here on a whim passing through and the whole experience was fantastic. Such friendly and personable wait staff, adorable little shop, and incredible food. We had the crabby fries, a crab cake special, oysters grilled and raw, the clam chowder in a grilled bread bowl, and the trout special. Food was all top notch- I’ve never had a bread bowl grilled like that before! Wish we’d had room for dessert! We will definitely return if we come through again!

Ate our last three meals here (dinner, breakfast, and lunch) loved it. Seafood stew was so good, a favorite. Awesome grilled oysters. Salad delicious. Best root beer float ever. Cobbler!!!! Amazing crab eggs Benedict. Real shredded hash-browns. Probably heading there for dinner again!

Did it, went back for dinner. Awesome service (not a nicer server than Kimberly, and everyone was great!), love the atmosphere, best music at dinner time.

We decided to take a trip down northern California coast and wanted some Pacific seafood. The locals steered us toward this place and we were very happy with our decision. The eatery had some good choices. The service and atmosphere was very friendly. The clam chowder was excellent along with my tuna. We were very happy with the experience except for the baby oysters. I still don't understand why they were so small. Just one of those things! I would recommend visiting if your in the area.

Went during Mother’s Day weekend while on vacation with friends. We had a long wait for a table but had a great interaction with staff in thee gallery shopping for tshirts and sipping on wine as we waited. Once seated we received prompt service and the food I received was delicious. I had the steelhead trout which was the fish of the day with kale and rice and a salad. All of it was seasoned and cooked well.

A classic seaside seafood restaurant that has delicious clam chowder. The sourdough bread bowl was particularly delish. We came on a Tuesday evening and had to wait about 45 minutes. The place is clean and the staff friendly. Plenty of places to sit and wait.
