Ellman's Music Center

There aren’t words to express how much I appreciate what Ellman’s Music Center staff did to overhaul my 55-year old clarinet that was way overdue for some TLC. A picture is worth 1,000 words - doesn’t my baby look brand new? They even got the embossed brand gussied up! They removed all the hardware (some of which had to be soaked forever before it could be removed.) All the hardware was cleaned and degunked, the keys cleaned and polished, the wood treated, the pads and corks replaced and it was tested. The sales receipt DETAILED our communication throughout the the several-month course of this renovation! I didn’t think this level of service and expertise existed anymore and am absolutely delighted with the results. I give them my highest recommendation. Thank you Ellman’s Music Center!

Rental for use is very convenient for a great deal. My daughter can explore learning different musical instruments without having for us to purchase ones. The rented violin was of great quality!

I recently had both my trumpet and flugelhorn cleaned and refurbished at Ellman’s Music. Both instruments came out looking great and working smoothly. The flugelhorn valves have not been this quiet in twenty years. Also, a minor adjustment to a slide was needed for my grandson’s trumpet and their repair department took care of this quickly and perfectly.

My daughter chipped her clarinet mouthpiece at school. I called Ellman's Music Center and the lady was very helpful and patient on the phone. I was able to purchase a new mouthpiece on sale and have it delivered to her school the next day at no charge. The experience was efficient and saved time. They definitely gained a customer.

I've been going to Ellman's for almost 20 years and they've been an amazing resource for music supplies, instrument rentals, and private lessons. This local business is one of the best and I can't recommend them highly enough!

As an older adult wanting to switch instruments, I was pleased to find it easy for me to rent a clarinet from them and set up lessons. The sales person was very clear and helpful, getting me off to a good start in handling the instrument, and made contact with their clarinet instructor, who contacted me within a few days.

Ellman’s music is a wonderful, local business worth knowing. Over the last 20+ years, I have purchased trombones for my daughter and myself at Ellman’s. I’ve had my trombones cleaned and adjusted by their instrument technicians. I also buy supplies from them: lubes, mutes, music stands, etc. I highly recommend Ellman’s.

Great place. Ellman’s was one of the recommendations from my kid’s school band instructor and I was glad I went to them. Got a rent-to-own Trombone contract and everyone made it so easy to walk through the contract, made me feel welcome and were efficient and friendly. Great collection of music books for every level for all the instruments and great customer service!

We brought an oboe in for repair. The repair price was reasonable, and they communicated about the price and timing well.

We also purchased a French horn mouthpiece. We liked that my player could try a few different ones before committing. The prices were comparable to online, but we got both personalized service and hands on testing.

We’d return for additional purchases or repairs.
