Mel and his team are professional, extremely knowledgeable, and very friendly. Quick turnaround from first meeting to install. Prices are reasonable and worth it for the expertise they provide. They replaced my OEM infotainment unit with a new one and everything works perfectly. They did a fantastic job and I will be using them again for future projects.

Great experience with C.A.R.S. Got my windows tinted and a new head unit installed. My old Toyota runs great but was looking a little sad inside and out. After the work done here, my car has entered the 21st century. I am in love with the old girl again. Really enjoyed working with both Jason and Rommel. They both went above and beyond my expectations. These guys won’t let you down.

Very happy with the install of an audio system Mel and his team made on my 08 BMW Convertible!! They ran into some issues with the top working correctly after the install, but they were determined to find, and resolve the issue. And they did! The top work great, and the audio system is amazing.

The whole team at CARS- top notch! I reached out to them from out of town and Rommel (owner) reached back to me personally. Listened to what I was looking for, gave me answers and multiple options to choose from. Coming from out of town, I had to wait a week for a weekend appointment, and through this period, Rommel kept in touch with me periodically and still answered all my new questions. Once at the appointment, the atmosphere was great, very welcoming and they all entertained my questions and old school references. Left feeling very pleased with my purchase and service! What was installed: DD Audio LE-512D Loaded Enclosure with a DD Audio D600 Monoblock Amplifier. All connected to a factory installed Bose premium sound system. Much needed bass for my large SUV! I called to car Audio,Radio and Security about issue in my Hyundai velostar ….
Bluetooth not appears in my screen.
And I can’t connect my phone to the car, and other accessories.
They ask me to come to the shop to take a look.
I drove 10 minutes for my home and
I got a great welcome.
It took him five minutes to figure out what is the problem.
It was so quickly.

Wow where do I begin I took my 2012 Dodge Durango to them my stereo was very basic it only had a CD player SXM and that was it... I don't have high mileage on my car but I wanted a new stereo they put in a new touchscreen stereo it has Bluetooth Sirius XM and they also installed a backup camera I love it! My mom was so impressed she's going Monday to have a backup camera installed in her car too! The guys were super friendly and the mechanic did a great job!

Cars843 installed an apple car play radio and a rear camera connected to a digital mirror allowing us to see without having windows on the back doors of the van. We went to multiple shops some rejected the job or quoted very expensive but Cars843 was fairly priced, attentive to our needs, and set a day a few days after our meeting and finished the job in just a few hours. Would highly recommend them all my friends and family!

Called Mel to inquire about some additional stereo options for my son’s vehicle after a rough experience with a different local retailer in recent weeks and he was absolutely engaging in convo over phone twice to hear my disgruntlement and even offered to stay late after hours to wait for me to make it to his shop in accident-stopped traffic. That was yesterday. Today I stopped by his store while working close by and he along with his staff were the antithesis of the experience and brush off received by prior establishment.
Totally laid back; sat down in his waiting area with me while phones were ringing off the hook and customers were entering just to hear and offer advice on the next steps of a higher quality and better sounding setup. Answered my unending list of questions and actually talked me out of making a more expensive investment, instead consulting me into a make-to-order speaker option that after researching this evening myself proves to be exponentially better in quality and design for my particular needs. He even called someone within the company after hours directly to get my order placed today so I didn’t lose extra lead time. That’s service and genuine empathy if I’ve ever seen such! Can’t wait to have my son’s new (upgraded) upgrade installed to hear money well spent with a stand up local family business owner. Will posts pics once finished up and can say to all with full confidence he is the one you want working with you on anything audio or tint related.

This review is so long overdue, my apologies to the owners/managers of C.A.R.S.!

My husband and I both had dashcams installed here about two years ago. We had appointments on different days due to differing schedules, but they were able to fit us each in relatively quickly after calling for an appointment. I'll speak for my own experience moving forward, but upon arrival, there is a comfortable waiting area with a Keurig, and everyone is super friendly. Everything went great with installation, and although my car is leased, they assured me that if I did not buy out my lease, they'd assist in removal before lease turn-in. (I'm buying out my car anyway.)

A couple of months ago, I started having issues with my dashcam and did some troubleshooting before I realized I needed them to look at it. It's important to note that C.A.R.S. did not sell me the dashcam, so the dashcam's failures had nothing to do with them or their installation.

I made an appointment for a day or two later and headed up there, this time at a new location a little bit down the road from their old location. Again, everyone was friendly and welcoming, and I got to pet a cute dog, so that's a bonus.

No joke, I think I had sat down for about 90 seconds when they called me back to my car so they could demonstrate the problem. Long story short, the dashcam mount had failed, so I just needed to order a new one ($15 part), which I could install myself.

I asked what the charge would be for their work, as I did take up their time and space, but they assured me it was no charge. They also offered to help if I could not get it working with the new mount.

I greatly appreciate this kind of customer service, which is sorely lacking nowadays. I highly recommend that anyone needing any dashcam, audio, or security work done on their vehicle make an appointment!

The customer service here is amazing . I brought several of my cars here including my parents too . I send everyone here for tint, LED headlights and car audio. The owner and the technician are very knowledgeable and the young lady up front is always plesant. Best place around Charleston. Thank you for all you do.

I made an appointment to get my dash cam hardwired into my car. I was in and out in about an hour. The store is clean with a well stocked and comfortable wait area. The staff is professional, friendly, and highly skilled. The dash cam looks great and I never would have known there was any dash disassembly. Thank you for the fantastic job done on my car.

Mel was great in coordinating and setting up a time. They uninstalled my old dashcam and installed a new one. Everything looks clean and professional and they did it quickly for a very good price.
