Amazing customer service. I called down from my hotel room and spoke with a lovely young lady, I believe her name was Alexis.(not positive) but I was inquiring about part supplies, food servers and food warmer kits. While on the phone she went and located, price checked, as well as set aside for me to pick up. When I Arrived, I told a guy hanging up stuff that I was there and what for, and he repeated the girls name back to me and brought me to the register, where she checked us out and made sure we had all of the order. Cheaper than the prices online to boot. Recommend.

This party store is very organized and clean. They have everything I need ,birthday balloons,birthday accessories,costumes and all seasons decorations and cards. The employees are spotlight very friendly ,helpful and the price is very reasonable. I definitely will recommend everyone check up here!🤡🎉🎈🎊

Great selection of party items and costumes. Dressing rooms are a huge plus. Helpful and friendly staff. They validate parking with 10$+ purchases but it's just outside crystal city station so you might just take the metro.

What a hidden gem! Every bit as much inventory as the big box competitors, and similar prices, but super friendly and helpful staff. Worth it!

This place is a hidden gem! I needed decorations for a friend who was having a winter graduation, and every other party store in the area was sold out (given that winter isn’t the usual graduation season and all). Total Party had a bunch of options for me to pick from, and the staff were lovely and super helpful! Plus all the items I got were way less expensive compared to other party stores, which is always a plus. Never going anywhere else for my party needs again!

This is honestly the best party store I’ve been to. The store is a lot bigger than you’d expect, and their inventory is impressive—all for reasonable prices! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. If you’re looking for party or costume supplies in the DC area, start here!

The place is fantastic! You can find pretty much anything you are looking for a party or to wrap your gifts! The costumes are out of this world! The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and make sure you find anything you need with a smile. Highly recommend it!

We've shopped here for costumes multiple times. We were there again this past Sunday and found the staff is always helpful and knows their products well. The store clerk was able to answer all our questions and she helped us come up with ideas. We tend to always start our costume shopping at this locally owned, independent store vs. one of the big box retailers. The cost is a bit higher then other party stores, but it's closer to home, they staff is helpful, and we're supporting small business. My only recommendation for the store is an opportunity for improvement, not a complaint. I'd like to return or exchange a product if necessary if the purchased item is still new, or unused. I'd also like for them to carry shoes traditionally for women, like disco platforms, but for men. We need costume shoes, too!

Fantastic, well stocked party store. They make shopping local an easy choice as their prices are great, they have a wonderful selection and the staff are friendly and very helpful. I wish I'd found this place sooner!

This by far has to be the best hidden gem for costumes and party supplies I’ve ever seen

We was kinda behind on getting some “congrats on your new baby” party favors and scoured the internet for a close, viable option we could get in and out of in a pinch and Total Party was just that. I wish I knew the guys name who was helping us because he knew his s**t when it came to the balloons we bought. Inflated them, packed them in bags neatly and gave proper instructions on transporting them…Party City would NEVER. If your behind on showing appreciation for anything THIS is the place to go. 5 stars hands down.

Great selection! A bit expensive but worth it

This is definitely a well-stocked party and costume store including huge varieties of accessories, hats, wigs, and full costume packages. They also have a lot of celebration decorations for birthday and bachelorette parties , and holidays. It's one of the better party stores ones around the area. I was able to find multiple accessory options for my costume and the staff were incredibly helpful.

Awesome selection of costumes and accessories for any type of occasion, including hundreds of costumes, makeup and accessories for Halloween parties, costume parties, and masquerade balls, cosplay events, etc. Just bring your imagination. The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable, and they go out of their way to make sure all the details of your costume are perfect. I had such a wonderful and fun experience here and I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anybody.

This store has a great selection of party decorations and supplies for many different party themes and excellent customer service! It is also a small business, unlike Party City. I would definitely return.

This store is always empty so I was afraid to order balloons. How they keep such a great staff amazes me. Expect to be treated with incredible service and price. i have know idea how they do it. My order was perfect and far too inexpensive. I'm not sure how this place stays in business.

This store has everything you need for every holiday you can imagine. The prices are cheaper here than anywhere online. Lorenzo and Claudia were particularly helpful in finding every item I needed for my themed party. Will continue to shop here for as long as I live.

Loved Total Party when it was located inside Ballston mall. Super happy to find them in Crystal City. Wonderful customer service and helpful staff every time I shop. They cover all you need for a party/Halloween/rock concert. If what you want ain't already there, then you prob don't need it.

Dori /Total Party is the best! She made us a custom cheerleader made of balloons which was a hit at the party, and also immediately replaced one of our regular large balloons when it deflated early. Great product, great service!
