NRV Railroad Express Cafe

We stopped in for breakfast this morning and really enjoyed it. The food and the service were great! If you're staying at The Highlander, just FYI that it's just about a 10 min walk and well worth it.

We stopped in for breakfast on 12/9. When we got there, we were the only ones there but the place quickly filled up and got busy. You order at the counter with a very friendly lady and the food comes out to your table in no time. Good coffee, our sandwiches were excellent and the sausage gravy with biscuits was delicious! Clean restaurant. We would definitely return.

Breakfast sandwiches were yummy and quick. This small business is family-owned and run, and they were all very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed a Christmas Eve breakfast here this morning. Owner was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. I had the steak and egg bagel, and my wife had French Toast. Highly recommended.

Always a great time when we visit. The food is fast, hot, and ready when we go and it's always yummy. The staff are upbeat and eager to please their customers. The store still has the decor it had from the last two tenants which isn't a bad thing, it's pretty cool looking. They are only open for breakfast and lunch so no dinner yet.

I don’t think I’ll ever get better service than what I just got here. I have long term friends who haven’t done such nice things for me. I won’t go into detail because I don’t want anyone to take advantage of their kindness, but they are “give you the shirt off their back” kind of people.

The food was great and the place was clean. I will be back as often as I can.

Retro environment and friendly local people help capture this ultimate local experience. Was welcomed and relaxed with open conversation. Food came out quickly and coffee was on the house today. Ended up being served a second biscuit because he said he ran it twice. Such nice and hardworking employees I hope to see this place thrive and prosper thank yall for providing an amazing first impression. 5 stars all around

Not sure how anyone gave a 1 star review for being disrespected by the owner. This is one of the nicest guys around. Good breakfast looking forward to trying lunch out!!

Good food, very caring and attentive staff, and cozy cafe to relax in. Definitely show they care about giving the best experience they can, take pride in their work and food, and show that they care for their friends, neighbors, and those who help make their business possible.

I went in with a large order from all of us at Thompson Tire in radford. The food came out quickly and was very fresh! The employees were friendly and welcoming! Keep up the great work!
