Sweet Ivy's Cafe at The Southern Folly

I rarely frequent a restaurant twice in the same week, but this is an exception. The food and atmosphere on Monday was so
good that I could not wait to bring an out of town friend. We were not disappointed!
Not only were the club sandwiches delicious, we met the two owners and we treated by the band during their warmup
session.

I love this place!! The atmosphere is so unique (although a little chilly sometimes with the high ceilings). I love Ralph's breakfast and the breakfast sandwich with Texas toast. The service I have received was always warm and inviting. I love the patio, although I've not sat there yet, but it is a cozy area I look forward to enjoying when the weather warms. But most of all l, I love how the owners interact and make you feel like family. It is now my favorite go to place.

This place is an absolute gem! The food is sensational, (all day breakfast!!), the people there are so warm and welcoming! If you haven’t been you’re missing out. The vibe is perfect, whether you are a family with kids, a couple or just on your own … they have something for everyone! Love that they are open early on weekends and have entertainment (and karaoke) too! Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing atmosphere with very kind employees. The owner stopped by our table and gave us pointers on what to do for the week we’re in town. We had delicious brunch and will be stopping by again. We highly recommend you checking this out!

I have eaten here several times and tried a couple different things. All have been delicious and a nice sized portion. My favorite so far is the Southwest Chicken Salad.
This past weekend, my family and I stopped in for lunch. There was a local festival going on and though they were busy, they kept checking on us and got our food out in a timely manner. There was live music as well as a football game in the theater/overflow dining area. For dessert, we shared a huge piece of pumpkin cake that was made in house. It was delicious!!!

My friends and I stopped in for the first time and what a delightful find! The food was delicious and the couple that owns the restaurant were so friendly. We will definitely be back!

My girlfriends and I had a delightful lunch. We all enjoyed their sandwich and salad combo. Fresh, homemade and incredibly good. We will be back ❣

We hosted an 80th birthday party for our mom and the staff was amazing. They worked hard to make sure we had what we needed. The food was good and the space was great!

Very fun unusual place. I’ve eaten there several times. Good fresh food and prices GREAT. Owners on site - lovely young folks. Just look for the 3 story white building that was 4 Star and once a laundry.

Stopped in for lunch today and had a wonderful experience, from start to finish. The food was freshly prepared, with generous portions, along with service was excellent and abundantly accommodating. We felt this was a genuine atmosphere and can’t wait to try more items on their menu!

Great food - the chicken salad is one of the best I have had. Great atmosphere and service. I can’t wait until Southern Folly opens too!

Really good food in such an old, historic charming building! The staff is super friendly and it’s also attached to a live music venue! What a really cool place to have lunch/brunch and catch a live show! I strongly recommend hanging out and getting a bite to eat here when you’re in Brenham exploring and shopping !

Terrific menu and so tasty! Home cooking and friendly service. Such a unique spot in a historic building. Don’t miss it. Lots of activities and specials during the week!

Had an amazing breakfast at Sweet Ivy's Cafe. The food was delicious. I had a breakfast platter with eggs, bacon, toast and avocado slices and my daughter had the avocado toast. Both were beautifully plated and cooked to perfection. Also I had asked why no one in Brenham has grits and they had grits! The owners and friendly and open to suggestions. This is my new favorite place.

I had the French toast which was excellent. They also made a great iced coffee. Our server was very attentive and provided great service

Went New Years day for the 1st time. We went for breakfast and it did not disappoint. Cheesy grits are amazing along side the BLT. Also had the Ralph's platter.
