Really loved the food here! They have wonderful vegan options out of which we tried chickpea sandwich and the matcha pancakes!

I hope they continue to serve these delicious dishes even after vegan chef challenge. Definitely gonna visit here often! 😋😋

Absolute GEM of a spot. Love the layout and different highlighted books around the space. Plenty of seating, you go in and around the right to a counter and additional seating area to order. They will give you a number so you can grab a seat and check out the books while you’re waiting. We had the coffee flight, citrus spice was our fav! Miso French toast and the breakfast sandwich hit the spot. I’d love to come back during the week and work from here, super cozy and everyone that worked there was pleasant :)

The best place to go if you love books, brunch, coffee, and mimosas! My friend and I had a great time here chatting and reading with amazing mimosas and some Midwestern Clam Chowder. The staff was stellar as well, very nice, polite and helpful!

Very cute breakfast spot!! Walls lined with books, really cute vibe. But most importantly, the food was excellent. I’m not a big hash browns person but these were killer! Bagel breakfast sandwich was delicious. Kids French toast was also a winner. Chai lattes (iced and hot) were also excellent. Top it off with friendly service from every staff member we spoke to and you have a solid 5 star rating! Give it a try!

We visited this place as part of vegan chef challenge and tried their menu. The matcha pancakes and chickpea sourdough sandwich are amazing and very tasty. The ambiance is top notch and exceeded expectations!

First book bar in the town! Loved their coffee flight. Would love if more gluten free alternatives are added in the menu in future.

The Chai latte was very nice and smooth. The Robert frost was amazing. They added orange and it added to the flavor profile.

The food is not only delicious but the menu is diverse and inclusive too! Genuinely tasty gf/vegan/veg options. The environment is beautiful and felt safe and comfortable. Staff was welcoming, friendly, and very good at their work. Decent book selection and the best bookstore fun stuff (stationary, accessories, etc)

Tried the coffee flight here, and it was delicious! There were 4 options - Rosemary vanilla latte, mocha, salted caramel latte and citrus flavored coffee. The bookstore is adorable with clear categorization and hand-written summaries for some books. Friendly staff and great ambiance, too.

The Literary is a wonderful bookshop/Cafe space! It has a great selection of books, a friendly and knowledgeable staff, and great food for fair prices.

There isn't a ton of space, so keep in mind if you go during their busy hours! Also, some dishes have large servings-- I would recommend sharing with a friend or taking some home with you, depending on the meal. But it is very delicious!

Great coffee, cozy atmosphere, nice book selection. Got two of the breakfast sandwiches, and they were delicious. My wife and I enjoyed spending some time together this morning over brunch and coffee.

Probably one of my favorite spots in all of Champaign Urbana! It’s like a cozy café mixed with a bookstore and has the coziest aesthetics! It’s fairly large inside, so it’s even more accommodating and welcoming. The food is spectacular! I highly recommend the breakfast and their honey latte!

I just arrived at Champaign , and this place is my first destination, it's really nice and cozy... Fit for students lives... I tried the ice tea so it was a delicious and rich recipe. I had the opportunity to read some pages of the kids book ... Highly recommended for those who want to work remotely or study individually or with a group.

Had coffee and basque cheesecake here. Bought earrings and tarot cards. Service, food and drinks are great, lots of interesting books and accessories to browse.

Excellent mix of a coffee shop and book store. The food was good, just more pricey than I was expecting. They have creative and tasty dishes, so it is worth the price.

I went in during their soft launch and had a great time! There were lots of enthusiastic staff ready to lend a helping hand and walls of books to browse. I found a beautifully illustrated children’s book and have my eye on a bunch of merchandise for holiday shopping!

I particularly enjoyed reading through the bar’s menu! They have lots of options ranging from basic (birthday cake waffles, a snack platter of your favorite childhood packaged treats!) to gourmet (apple and raclette paninis, roasted squash with sesame seeds🤤). I’ve already told my fiancé that I want to come back on my birthday to enjoy those waffles!

It's a cafe/coffee shop and a decent small book shop all in one. What's not to like? You can comfortably sit on the cafe side, but there are also comfy seats throughout the book shop side. Get a book and a coffee and relax, or come for brunch.

Really cool breakfast spot and book store! A modern menu with some breakfast classics and a bar. I got the Not So NYC Breakfast Sandwich and a bloody mary. Delicious bloody mary and the sandwich was okay. Last time i went i had one of the best breakfast sandwiches ever! i think it had a herb cream cheese on ciabatta. my friend got the kimchi dip and that was really yummy. afterwords we shopped in the book store and had a great time looking at the art. really a great spot and would recommend for a brunch place!!! They also have book clubs for anyone interested !!

I absolutely love this place! Always cozy, a great place to meet a friend for lunch, grab a cocktail before dinner, or dig into some work with a delicious coffee to keep you company. The food menu is kinda small, but everything I've had so far has been good, and they've got some of the best baristas in town. My one complaint, in case anyone from the Lit is reading this: no grown up grilled cheese on the menu! Give me some melted stinky cheese on crusty sourdough and I will be a happy woman! Great place for brunch with plenty of sitting areas both inside and outside. Loved their breakfast sandwich. Would be nice to spend a couple of hours there. Expect a line and a bit of wait time during the weekend.
