The Ancient Olive of St. Augustine

We found this store while on a wine walk through St Augustine. We made a purchase during our initial stop, and had to go back the next day for some more goodies.

During our wine walk, they had a pot of Enchilada soup there for a taste as well. It melted delicious and tasted even more delicious. We ended up purchasing the soup mix and the next day came back to taste test some of the oils and vinegars. So many good flavors and things to see.

The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and nice to chat with. Would totally recommend this place for stopping in to visit and purchase from.

OLIVE OIL: They have a great variety and flavors of olive oils and truffles. They have cups and testing bottles for you to test before you buy something

I had the best time meeting the staff and walking in to buy the exact olive oil that I was looking for. Baklouti green chili olive oil was bottled and ready for me to purchase. I returned and bought a second bottle as a gift 🎁. It is that good!!

Here they offer some great options of honey instance I bought a hot honey which I am very excited to try with some barbecue ribs. They had different combination seasonings for meats, different flavored infused olive oils, along with lots of other things. The staff were very helpful and place was very cute

Another stop on the Food Tour, so many flavors and Mo gave us a mix to taste with cheese and d chips…🤯❤❤

Ancient Olive is one of the top reasons why my husband and I travel to St. Augustine. We just love the oils and the vinegar. Delicious! We arrived on June 30th and Walter greeted us with such warmth. Normally, we purchase the Persian Lime Oils, yet this time, we decided to give other flavors a shot: Rosemary, Basil, Provence Herb, Honey Balsamic, and Truffle Oil. Can't wait!

Cool little shops with many oils and sauces. If you are a foody, you will enjoy.

Very cute store with great gift options. The man attending the store when I visited was really helpful and had used many of the oils personally in his cooking and had great unique recommendations for employing each oil. I’ve really enjoyed using my pear balsamic on vanilla ice cream. Will definitely return to the store to buy gifts in the future !

Really love this place. I have totally abandoned traditional bottled salad dressing since finding the Ancient Olive. The balsamic vinegars are amazing. A couple of my favorites are Honey Ginger and Cranberry Pear. The shop encourages you to taste their products. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There are lots of other gourmet foods and accessories available. Make a stop here and you won't regret it!

I love this shop! I have bought my olive oils and balsamic vinegars from them for more than two years, maybe three. The staff are welcoming and helpful. You can actually taste the olive oils and vinegars. Their Manchego cheese is very good and worth the price. They also have a unique assortment of sauces, pastas, cocktail mixes, jams, kitchen utensils, high end cutting boards, and a lot more. If you are a “foodie,” you definitely need to visit the Ancient Olive!

MUST stop in here! There are at least 40 different olive oils all imported from Europe and different flavors like Persian lime, bacon, etc
There are also about 50 vinegars also various flavors (truffle was my favorite).
The staff is extremely kind and welcoming

They also have a jam called CrackJam which is amazing

It's rare these days that someone might make a day trip for any other reason than to see the sights. Ancient Olive, however, is something quite different. Located 35 minutes south of where we live in Jacksonville, Florida, Ancient Olive is that one store we ALWAYS have to visit when we go down to St. Augustine!

Their many variety of balsamic vinegars and oils do more than just entertain your palette... if done properly, it can unleash the hidden chef in all of us! Add to that the many unique brands of artisan foods and goods, and Ancient Olive is a "We MUST visit this place!" destination for ANYONE visiting St. Augustine!

We went back the second time! Our first time was just not enough. Mo was so welcoming and helped us locate our preferred oils.
We will definitely be back soon!

Awesome place. So many kinds of vinegars and olive oils and mustard. I want to drink this oil by itself it's so good. The customer service is great. I can't wait to go back.

If you like olive oils and balsamics (even a little bit), I highly recommend visiting this shop. You can taste all the flavors of both the oils and balsamics. They have a unique variety of soup kits, sauces, cheeses and spreads.
The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.
They also have a nice selection of books and gifts.
You'll be glad you popped in.

Love Ancient Olive. Great service, wide variety of oils and vinegars and delightful and interesting other products. Better than other same type stores we have visited. They also provide exceptional customer service which is greatly appreciated.

Take your cooking to the next level and come here! The vinegrettes are amazing, though that's the only part of the store I've really explored, there's so much to add to your kitchen here flavor wise! This is a MUST if you're in St. Augustin.
