Grindhouse Cafe

My all time favorite coffee spot. I've been drinking coffee for 20 years, and I've never found a spot with such good coffee, but also the best atmosphere. The staff is friendly and cool. You can eat in or take-out, they have an app to order on. Food is great, baked goods are fresh and made by them, and the coffee is sourced from all the best local roasters. They have their own coffee brews that I highly recommend trying. Always the best punk, indie, and alternative music is playing when I come here. I recommend this cafe to anyone worthy of the best.

I'd show a photo, but the food was too good and I ate it all. Great coffee shop, with a surprisingly diverse (and yummy) menu. In the drive between Detroit & Chicago, if you're hungry and wanting something more than the normal chain restaurants or unhealthy food, this is a great pop pick:)

So happy I stumbled on this place today!!! I got an iced coffee with oat milk and hazelnut - better than any other I have had. The chorizo burrito was top notch. Love the atmosphere!! It was alive and friendly

Cute niche little coffee, tea, and sandwich spot. Eclectic style and a great music playlist. Nice variety of teas and coffee products. Would recommend.

Best coffee in northwest Indiana. I drive past Sip Coffee House in Highland to go to Grindhouse--it's that much better. Good food too, and my children love their pastries, especially the snickerdoodle cookies.

Very good. My husband loved the Eggnog spiced chai and I loved their Raspberry hot chocolate. So cozy and amazing drinks. Was a cute place to visit!

Chill coffee spot. The snickerdoodle cookie was great and so is the espresso. Priced really well as I paid less than $4. A big menu to choose from with lots of merchandise to buy. Good spot to have some coffee and a book.

Suuuuper niche cafe with a chill vibe. Always new quirky menu items with fun names, served by really cool people. Love going here when I’m in the area. The pumpkin king is bomb.

Thankfully Grindhouse Cafe was here to feed us some delicious sandwiches! A place down the street advertising as a sandwich shop had nothing and we were getting disappointed. I was able to find a few vegan options here too! Cool vibe and tasty latte.

Delightful establishment for a beverage and quick bite. The maple pecan scone is to die for. The iced teas are always a treat and the lattes are nice. Love the hip kind of vibe here. Everyone is super friendly. Bonus points for proximity to bike trail.

The food/drinks are always good and the staff are always nice! (Order a Turkey dolo on a croissant w extra Mayo!) The deserts and drinks are good too!

Breakfast burritos are the best I have ever had and priced right. I love getting breakfast from this place.

A pleasant find on the main drag of Griffith. Unfortunately the region doesn't seem to have a lot of independently owned coffee shops, I'm glad to have come across this one. The prices were super affordable and the quality was great! The atmosphere was great for getting some work done away from home.

Yummy! I LOVE that this place has oatmilk, and other vegan/vegetarian options. Ordered an oat milk latte, chocolate chip banana scone, and a vegan “chicken salad” sandwich (it was made with chick peas). Everything was so good!

Great cafe with a perfect atmosphere. They have a unique menu you don’t find anywhere else in the area. If you’re looking for something different from the norm, this cozy cafe is right for you.

I went in just to get their delicious chocolate chip cookies (because it's my one day off and I deserve it) and decided to treat myself. I tried their new chocolate raspberry latte "Pretty Lady". There was very little wait which I spent looking at merch, reading the window flyers and the menu. The latte is delicious and not too sweet or overpowered. The staff was friendly (as usual) and The Smiths were playing over the speakers. Very pleasant start to my day.

I had an ice latte with raspberry and smoke flavor. My daughter had an iced latte with lavender and rosemary. My son had the desert pear lemonade. My fiance had the iced mocha and they all tasted amazing. The staff was very nice and the Cafe was very clean.
