The people here are so incredibly knowledgeable about all things skiing. Not pushy or upselling at all. I was hesitant to buy new ski’s after Delta destroyed mine, without demoing them first. But I also dreaded wasting time and money renting. I found myself at Strafford village the day before our Vail trip and was so fortunate to meet Andrew. He knew everything about my previous ski’s (that they no longer make and I tried so hard to find used but couldn’t). He steered me towards the ski’s I bought- a different brand even though they carried other skis from the brand I previously had- and really listened to exactly what, where and how I ski to pick out the perfect pair. I asked about a lot of other ones that cost more, and he gave me expert explanations about the differences in the skis. He even figured out how to mount the bindings without me having to go get my boots from home 40 minutes away, because I bought the boots there the year before so he could pull up the info. Today was my first day out west of the season and I’ve never felt so confident and have skied the best I have in my life. I completely credit Andrew and Ski station for our perfect day of skiing. And I’m glad I bought a better ski bag from here to protect my purchase this time. If you have skis you love, don’t trust the soft bags on an airplane.

Love shopping for gear here. Everyone I’ve worked with absolutely cares about your experience on the mountain and in the store. Can’t say enough good things about these guys! If you get a chance, ask for Will.

Everyone is super helpful and they had plenty of options to choose from whether you need winter clothing or gear to head to the slopes. Definitely recommend for all ski and snowboarding needs.

If you only have 10 or 15 minutes to decide on a kind of ski boot to wear, you need to play tennis. Never buy a pair of boots you haven’t worn around the store for at least an hour.

Getting back on the slopes after taking 20 years off. The shop was well stocked, even after the holidays. I went in to be fitted for new boots and thanks to Andrew, we found the perfect pair. Professional, patient, and precise, his customer service was a 10. Ski equipment has come a long way since I worked at a ski shop during college. I had an outstanding boot fitting experience at Ski and Tennis. Really took time to make sure I got the right custom fit. Not my first rodeo with ski shops and buying ski boots and this was a great experience. Decided to buy some new skis too! I love having a great local shop.

I started to play tennis since last year. I rented demo Tennis rackets (a 4-week program) in last September 2019. I played for 2 weeks and when I returned the rackets, I told them that I am not going to renew renting until I play again. Winter came and then pandemic; no tennis.

Finally, I have resumed playing since this June. I wondered if they had me in their database and even if they had, will they let me utilize the remaining 2 weeks of my demo program. To my surprise, they did and I rented the rackets.

Finally, at the end of my demo program, I have decided to buy a racket and bought one there. They offered the best price among all online/retail sellers. They have also let me subtract the demo program's cost on the racket's cost.

I had the best and excellent customer service. I highly recommend them. The sales guys are fine gentlemen!! Very much satisfied.

Recently purchased Head ski boots. Andrew helped me and was extremely knowledgeable. He spent an hour with me right near closing time. I love the boots!

I haven't been skiing in about 10 years. My old boots had a white powdery film all over them so I knew it was time for a new pair.
I ordered a new version of my same brand of boots on line and had one pressure point on the left foot.
The guys at Ski and Tennis were awesome. They measured my feet, custom fit a sole and sent me on my way with a brand new pair that fit!
I took them to Snowshoe a few days later and was able to ski all day with no discomfort. I can't wait to go skiing again!!
I will need new shaped skis too and look forward to taking my business back to them.

These guys are the best ski shop, hands down. I went in a couple years ago, described how I ski and what my skis were doing and they sold me the perfect ski for how and what I ski (Volkl Deacon 80), my confidence went up and my technical ability quickly followed. Last month I told them I was starting to question my boots, and they fitted me in a pair of Nordica speedmachine 110s. I finally got to a mountain today and I have never had this much control. Even on the steeper parts of the hill my skis did EXACTLY what I wanted, for a fraction of the effort it had previously required.

Been coming to the shop since I was in middle school, always super friendly and knowledgeable. Great selection and if they didn't have it they always found a way to get it for me. Always my first stop for snowboarding or wakeboarding needs. Great selection of Patagonia clothes and gear as well

My racket strings had gotten messed up somehow shortly after I got my racket restrung and I reached out to Ski and Tennis and they welcomed me back and fixed the problem with no charge. Everyone there is absolutely amazing and they are super helpful!

I went in Saturday right at closing time to look at a pair of Costa Del Mar sunglasses. The Staff was very knowledgeable about the Costa Del Mars and helpful, which is not always the case at other places. They actually showed me a pair that I liked better than the pair I was looking for. I actually bought those glasses and I am very glad I did because I absolutely love them.

The staff is always friendly, and are willing to string my racquet in a pinch! It's the only place I trust to give advice about equipment for tennis.

Kelly was wonderful. I called this morning asking if they hard 2xl womens ski pants and jacket. She said they had some. When I came in Kelly remember talking to me on the phone and already had stuff pulled out for me to try. How awesome is that? Tried on 2 pair of pants and 3 jackets and I was set. They fit me perfect with everything I need. I was in and out within 40mins with everything I needed fitting perfectly. I'm excited to be comfortable on the slopes and tear up the mountain.
