Jodie's Cafe and Bakery

When on vacation and we find a restaurant we really like we tend to go several times. This was the case at Jodie's Cafe. It was their grand opening weekend and the staff could not have been more accommodating! We ate breakfast there twice and dinner once and had wonderful meals every time. The dining room was comfortable with nice views over the water. Sausage gravy with biscuits is a favorite and theirs did not disappoint! Dinner was excellent - shrimp and grits - a little spicy for me, but should not have surprised me as I know how it's made. Despite the heat, everything was cooked perfectly. Perhaps the absolute best thing I ate anywhere that weekend was the corned beef hash burrito. The corned beef is house-made and absolutely delicious. The burrito was stuffed with this and cubed hash browns with peppers and onions, cheddar cheese and scrambled eggs. The whole burrito was lightly fried and not at all greasy and I could eat another one right now! The bakery case had many scrumptious looking items and we tried the peach pie and blueberry crumble pies. Yum! I highly recommend Jodie's.

Had excellent burgers for 3 of our party and fish & chips for the other person. Food was tasty and the serving size was more than ample. And, despite the fact that the online menu doesn't show it, they DO have decent beer and wine available. The waitstaff were also very nice and helpful.

We enjoyed Jodis 100%. We had the chocolate twist which was amazing. Recommend highly. I had the breakfast bowl and it was delicious. Bacon was crisp, grits were delicious and sausage gravy was yummy. The hub had a breakfast sandwich with the homemade English with sausage which he thought was a little dry but still delicious. We give Jodis 2 thumbs up!

I ate here on a trip in march, Jodie was very sweet and made us feel at home even being from away! The food was great and the place was clean. I can’t wait to eat here again 10/10. Order the corn beef hash you won’t be disappointed.

On a week long trip we went to Jodie’s for breakfast 2x. The staff is so friendly, the food is delicious, and what’s not to love about a pride flag out front? Any future trips to mid-coastal Maine will include visits to Jodie’s! Highly recommend.

History brings up an appetite. Then a late lunch at Jodie's Cafe and Bakery in beautiful down Wiscasset. Love the renovations, great food and great service, right on the Sheepscott River. Easy parking in front, with municipal parking just down the street

Cinnamon and Apple Tea, accompanied by Pancakes with the chocolate chips were a delight. Judging by the number of other patrons, we weren't the only ones enjoying partaking in the offerings.

Very impressed, friendly server, the food came out quickly, and was quite tasty. And my friend had his eye on the delicious looking bakery treats on the way in and out…smart product placement.

Always a pleasure to see and support local Maine and Midcoast businesses. Especially when I see the owner in the house, working alongside her team to provide exceptional service. I’ll be back.

They have a sign that says please wait to be seated and please be kind, I saw the hustle on the staffs face as we walked in and we tried to be the best guests even with our toddler in tow. The coffee was hot the food was fresh and the atmosphere was relaxing. If you are in a rush, aren’t ready to enjoy the company of your friends or family or just want a relaxing breakfast maybe hit up a fast food joint. This place rocks !

Stop for lunch on our tour. It is in a great location right on Route 1. Very friendly welcome and good service. I had a Tuna sandwich which had ample filling and the homemade chips were delicious. Clean and well priced.

Came here for some bakery takeout. The portions are large (look at that cinnamon roll!!) and everything is delicious. Staff is extremely nice and friendly. I will definitely come back for a sit down breakfast!!

A very nice little place, the food was quite good. There was a party near us and they were quite loud. It was hard to have a conversation. The view was pretty nice. I would have to give it another try

We found this place driving to our daughters in booth bay harbor. We had to stop again on our way out of town. Service was super friendly, happy people and the food is to die for- the hash and the sausage gravy is worth the drive! We will definitely be back anytime we are in Maine🥰🥰🥰🥰

SAN-FRAN-TASTIC! The food is out of this world and the staff is super friendly and attentive! The prices are great and the menu is filled with homemade foods and even a touch of southern comfort: ribs and grits! They serve breakfast and lunch with an onsite bakery. Highly recommend!

Jodie took over Sara's cafe. We gave it a try and found it to be wonderful. Great tasting food, the staff was excellent and fun to work with. Can't wait to travel through Wiscassett Maine again, so we can eat there again. 😋

Fantastic! Their coffee is smooth, and their breakfast burritos are as filling (no joke) as they are delicious! Also, their bakery items are on display and are almost impossible to not drool over. Great friendly service with a comforting and cozy feel.

The best breakfast in the area BY FAR! Such friendly people, and truly amazing food. Huge portions at really great prices. The owner heard us mention it was our anniversary, and they sent us out with a gigantic chocolate cupcake! So kind! Everything was so delicious. We're going back there tomorrow before heading home. Yum.

The fish and chips is great and so is the haddock sandwich best sandwich I have had in a long time and a big portion thank you keep up the good work
