I love this store! I have to stay out of here because every time I go there I see something I want at a price that’s so reasonable. I’ve been looking for a Mossberg shotgun and found the exact one I wanted at a price I couldn’t pass up. Just the week before I purchased a Hellcat that I’ve been wanting for a while. Everyone is so helpful when I go into the store. There is no rush or being made to feel as if I’m annoying someone when I want to see several guns. I’m never made to feel uncomfortable. I shop here often for all my weapons and ammo.

My husband has bought several guns from Ideal. This is absolutely an amazing store with amazing employees. We would drive from Charlotte here because the prices and also the employees are just so friendly and knowledgeable. My husband had an accident and was wheelchair bond for several months and I would always have to come with him to help him, I was floored by the employees courteousness and how helpful they are. I have always been big on supporting small business and this business right here proves why.

These guys are great. I bought a gun and Holosun sight from them and the experience was outstanding. They mounted the Holosun and bore sighted for me. I will buy from them again every chance I get.

Very detail oriented staff. I had a gun shipped there and every employee tried to help while I was waiting for background check to clear. Super nice people, Very knowledgeable about all things gun related. I would highly recommend them for shipments and especially their expertise on guns in general. Reasonable compared to online prices as well. I'm a very satisfied customer, and will surely go back.

I've brought several guns from this place. Always treated me right and either had or would order me what I wanted in a short time frame. Staff was always friendly and very helpful. Store was always clean and stuff was easy to find. I would highly recommend this place for anyone. I've even taken a few friends to buy guns their because of the service and great staff.

Nolan and Wilson were great. They answer all my questions and help me walk out with two MP5. The store also has great Selection. I’m definitely coming back for more. Also wish I got an discount. Overall 5 stars!

Absolutely the kindest, most courteous staff you will find in Gun stores in this area. My wife bought a pistol and rather than hovering over her I stepped back and she was treated Very Well! The price was great and we were well pleased!

Ridiculous how courteous and friendly this place is. The staff is patient and provides as much guidance as you need. The setup was simple and they had a plentiful stock. I went in and was helping my mother in law buy a gun and they were extremely helpful. The buying process was very smooth.

Honest. The best way I can describe the shop. Reviews are easy to come by when they are negative. I trust these people for a fair price. I know by shopping around I am getting a fair price. If I am going to sell a gun I understand the market...not like a lot of people. 380's were in high demand a few years ago now not so much. This is a family business that rely on people telling people. I trust Ideal Sportsman with my hobbies and my safety.

Great prices, friendly and knowledgeable staff

The shop looks small on the outside, but they have a great selection. The employees are willing to spend time to help you find the right product. I bought a very slightly used saint ar-15 for a good price. They have the 10 dollar mags and good prices on ammo. After the experience buying the saint I will be coming here for supplies and other firearms.

Love Ideal. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. They have a huge selection, and rarely don’t have what you came in for. About half of all my guns came from these guys and that’s because the other half pretty much either got transferred through them or were handed down to me. I visit regularly and they have so much that I can rarely leave without something, even if it’s just a mag or a box of ammo.

Awesome gun shop! Very knowledgeable and very willing to help anyway they can. These people shoot the guns they sale. I love the cash sales or the tax free weekends! Whether you've been shooting for years or it's your first gun definitely the shop you need to visit!

Went in to buy Talon grips for my first visit and found quality firearms and accessories with even better prices and customer service then I've experienced in Charlotte. I will definitely be returning.

I have only good things to say about this place. The staff is informative, polite, patient. I just made my first purchase here and will ABSOLUTELY be my "go to" place for all things firearm related.

Love this store- I live in CO and they ship guns to my FFL- Bought 3 and the process has been smooth and quick. Have not had an issue to mention. Everything has been as promised. The prices are fair for the market-

Good prices on what's in stock. No qualified gun smith in the place. Brought something in to be repaired was told it was machined wrong and I should send it back to where I bought it. I gave the guy the opportunity to admit he just didn't know how to fix it. He stood his ground. Got it fixed the next day simple repair.
*** Update *** we are all to quick to post a less than 5 star review when things don’t go our way. Currently they have now a qualified gun smith on the pay roll. I’ve changed my review from 3 to 5 stars a couple years later.

This is my GO TO spot for self defense and hunting gear! Great place, make sure to follow on Facebook, they post new arrivals throughout the day as they arrive!
