Cosmic Cardinal Cafe

So glad I finally walked over from my office to get some lunch! I had the sun dried tomato crepe and it was SIMPLY PACKED with flavor and ingredients! Amazing value for the size of the meal. Made to order and very quick as well. I'll definitely be back!

Delicious food and sandwiches, daily specials, and a great atmosphere. It'll be a new Gen Con staple every time we visit. It's inside of the bank in the back :) (get the matcha lemonade!!)

I love this cafe! Leah, the owner, is the sweetest. It’s a great option for some, quick delicious food, and her soup specials are my favorite. The savory crepes are also delicious. I regularly order a matcha lemonade, and some sort of special. It’s hard to stop myself from coming once a week when working in office!! It’s located inside the Lake City Bank building, just enter off Ohio, and go to the end of the hallway with elevators. It’ll be right on your left :)

Adding to the list of 5-star reviews here... It's a hidden gem of a restaurant that has a hometown feel and lots of creative spirit. I had a gooey grilled cheese sandwich, creole soup and a lavender-sugar crepe. They were all soooo good!

Tucked away in a business building, it felt odd walking in especially as travellers from the UK. The crepes were outstanding.

The crepes were amazing! The location is a little hidden in the bank, but the cafe itself is so cute and well decorated. Looking forward to getting to come back next year!

I’ve had the opportunity to eat at the cafe a few times now, and I have never been disappointed! It has all been so delicious. I’ve had the CBR (Chicken, Bacon, Ranch) and the Green Eggs and Ham crepes, and they are so good and filling. I’ve also had different pastries in the rotating case, like the cosmic brownie, lemon blueberry cookie, strawberry, cardamom glazed scone, and they were all sooo good! Also the soups are amazing too!

The cafe does a great job of highlighting and using local products and ingredients on the menu, and make a warm, welcoming space with local artwork and plants.

If you’re downtown, head into the cafe, actually make the trip downtown, it’s worth it!!

This place was a delight. The person working there seems to be the owner and so much care is taken with service and food preparation. Plus the menu has crazy variety and they use locally roasted coffee. Easy in and out too if you're here for a conference or convention. Can't recommend enough.

I thoroughly enjoyed my beet salad and peach tea today! The cardamom on the strawberry scone was a lovely twist. I WILL be back and can't wait! Do support this delicious café with healthy choices! I would have taken photos, but it was too tasty to remember to stop.

Love the sweet crepes. Good variety to choose from. Very fast service. Would recommend for a high quality and quick breakfast or lunch.
