This place was a nice little surprise find on a Sunday morning!

The young lady helping us was very patient and helpful, as this was our first visit here. She even helped me save $1 on my sandwich by ordering from the Sunday brunch menu.

My lox, tomato, onions, and capers with cream cheese on an everything bagel was delicious! The bagel was fresh and soft. In all the right ways. All the parts were in tasty harmony. My husband said his egg, bacon, and everything bagel was good too - and the bonus of fresh fruit on the side.

The atmosphere is very chill and comfortable, with the accent of fresh yellow roses on each table. I can imagine later in the day/night, especially with live music, this place gets busier but hangs on to that vibe. We'll have to check it out!

I'll note the one negative up front - their service gets slow if it's packed because late nights appear to only have two people on staff. I don't mind that, though, because the food is an excellent accompaniment to some of the best live blues music I've ever heard, Dave Good (and many friends)'s tribute concert-shaped outpouring of love for Robert Cowan. It's a cozy place you genuinely want to be in and are reluctant to leave.

I love this spot. Frank, the owner, and his staff are wonderful. The food is excellent and the music, both live and ambience, is great.

Local owned business. Been around for 14 years. Long standing owners. Atmosphere is surreal. Walking in your mood will change for the better. If you're looking for peaceful and fun environment. Come here and embrace the vibe. Recommend coming for event nights,, if you like local music🌌

First time patron. My daughter said Cmon mom let's go! So off we went dogs and all. It's a little corner Cafe. People apparently order to pickup because it was empty and then after we got there and placed order, everyone and their mother came. Lol.

So I ordered a Tuna panini with provolone. OH MY GOODNESS. Mouth watering surprise of pure yummy. It was my first meal of the day and an early dinner, so I was famished!

The Mexican Mocha was authentic. I could almost swear they used Abuelita! So yummy and me and my daughter both ordered large! 😋 😋 😋 (we ate outside).

Be patient if u can. Remember there is a staff shortage. I had to apologize for not having enough empathy, but I did mention that I was starving, like really hungry (I think maybe a little hangry, too). It was worth the wait.

This is my favorite spot near home! I call it the one stop shop lounge. Most during the week you can go grab a delicious bite breakfast/ lunch cooked meal. My favorite breakfast is the chicken and waffles. In the evening on weekends there’s always great entertainment you can go and have some wine. OH YEAH!!! THE OWNER FRANK IS AMAZING 🎉. parking is good and it’s such a beautiful neighborhood. Definitely beats any nearby Starbucks.

Came in Wednesday and got the (wine Wednesday) deal for 3 glasses for $12 and they have a great Sommelier “Frankie” that cycles the wine every two weeks and very energetic with the explanation of grapes that made the wines. Frank the owner serves very delicious food made with fresh ingredients with beautiful presentation.

I really enjoyed this cafe. The ambiance was very relaxing and the service is very warm and welcoming. Food is delicious and drinks are great! I ordered a breakfast croissant, oatmeal & iced coffee. It was a delightful breakfast! You can tell the owners put in a lot of love. A true hidden gem, 10/10

Always a good time here. The owner is very attentive and checks up on you to make sure your order is good. A community hub! Always throwing nice events and open mics. This is a nice local spot for good coffee, tea and snacks.

I did I do deliveries from here I've never had the pleasure of eating any of their food yet but I can tell you that the owners and the workers are very cool and this place always seems to have a pretty good crowd🤙👍🏼🤙👍🏽

This place is great! The portions are very generous and I love the atmosphere! They also have many additions for their delicious acai bowls! Highly recommended!

I am not often in the area, but I make it a point to drop by the Spacebar if I’m near by. It’s a friendly place, the owners and others are very helpful and kind.

I’ve always been happy with whatever I’ve ordered, from drinks to food! The bowls are great, especially if fresh fruit is offered and the Açaí bowl I last ordered was large and exactly what I was looking for!

I had one of their breakfast bagels recently and the eggs were perfectly cooked and the bagel was not the typical firm and dry type, but light and with a nice crunch to it!!

I’ve had their burgers and fries and they were also great! The coffee was very reasonable and also very good!

Friend and I had a lovely time. I had the peppermint italian soda and the shrimp with fries appetizer. My friend had the toffee italian soda and calamari appetizer. Everything was great. I even loved the music choice and the staff was very hospitable .will return.

Food is great. Staff is super friendly. I always have a good time when I come here. I love coming here for dates :)

Today was my first time eating here. Ordered the chicken wrap, with a spinach wrap and avocado. I’m pretty sure this is the best wrap I’ve ever had. My 8 year old daughter agrees. I don’t leave reviews often, but felt this should be shared. Delicious 🤤

The comedy nights at Space Bar are so much fun. They give stage time to new local comics and always have some seasoned performers on the bill as well. The service tends to be slow because of the crowd, but it is done with a smile, and the food and drink are good.

If you go to the more than once you become part of their little culture and it is a wonderful place to have dinner and make friends laugh and listen to wonderful music.

Great little Spot in La Mesa. They also Host cool little events and Parties every now and then. Great atmosphere not gonna lie little hard to spot but none the less cool spot to kick it. The Owners are really hard working Individuals with a Dream and it shows. Super nice and very Welcoming
