Ranger Bob's Trading Post

Fun little store we always make a point to stop at while in town. If you are looking for a black bear souvenir this is a great place with lots of quality options.

Very friendly staff, especially Tavia, whose beautiful smile and welcoming personality had me wandering around the store wanting to buy something even though I had nothing in mind. I ended up buying a walking stick for my dad that was unexpectedly sturdy and useful in the following year. ^^

I even accidentally laid a small bag of stuff I had bought earlier down somewhere and left it, then realized it a few days later when we were back home in Louisiana. Tavia was so nice, she found it and even mailed it to me. Can't say enough wonderful things about her and any business she is a part of!

This place made such an impression on me that when we returned to Gatlinburg we made a special effort to visit this shop. The smell and atmosphere of this store is wonderful. The merchandise is higher end than other shops on the strip and there is a uniqueness to it. You definitely need to stop in! I purchased a smoke grey "It's All Good in the Woods" t-shirt on this visit. Then there's the AMAZING Perry's Drifter-multi Smoky Mountain Hummingbird Feeders!!! I love mine. I had saw them first a couple of years ago when we came down for our Anniversary and couldn't get them out of my mind...I had to have one. So when we came back I bought it first thing before I did anything else. I love love love them.

Came from Illinois to get candles and very pricey but soooooo worth it,just burned it and my house smells so amazing

As you walk in, you are greeted with the sweet aroma of “bear farts”, a must-have candle, and the sounds of the deep metal chimes hanging right inside the door. They have handmade items from local artists that aren't found anywhere else. And to top it off, the employees and new owner are amazing!

This shop is definitely different from other touristy shops you visit the quality is so much better! They have amazing handmade items and these bamboo pajamas that are an absolute dream to wear definitely a must stop shop.

One of the girls on our trip wanted to stop here to get several Bear Fart candles for her husband; they are his favorite. They do have a great aroma.

My wife loves this store. They have a wide array of rustic items for the home and particularly the kitchen. My wife found no less than 6 items she just has to have for our home. The employees are incredibly friendly and eager to help in any way they can.

I love Ranger Bob's! It is one of my favorite stores in Gatlinburg!!! I have spent $$$ in that store. They have a variety of unique gifts, including a bear nativity. . . so cute!!! I think the prices are reasonable for downtown Gatlinburg especially if you go towards the back of the store where the 'deals' are. Their stuff is not junky either like a lot of the variety stores in Gatlinburg! I'd highly recommend Ranger Bob's :-)

I gave a 5 star cause we just love y'all but damn, 30 dollars to ship me a 20 dollar candle ??? I'm not heading up till November and was hoping to get one now but I will definitely wait. See y'all soon. ❤❤❤

Always enjoy stopping in Ranger Bob's and browsing as they have a lot of nice nature oriented items. Love the t-shirts that are so soft and always look for the latest new design to add to my collection.

We were just in there today and my husband bought two rather large gifts for me. The owner was so unbelievably helpful with getting those items packaged for us and took the time to visit with us as well. It is definitely that kind of hospitality that keeps us coming back!

This week was my first visit and I love this store. I found a cool shirt for me, a mug my coworker will love and a book for my 6 year old nephew for Christmas. We will be sure to come back.

We love this store. Has an amazing variety of things. But the best thing of all is the Bear Farts candle..so awesome. We have bought alot of these candles, and want more & more. We order the candle over the phone when we can't take a trip to Gatlinburg. You can burn this candle all year long & never get tired of the smell. Recommended to Everyone!

Hands down, my favorite store in Gatlinburg! Always the cutest shirts and sweatshirts. As well, you can find the BEST candles here. If you are looking for a long lasting candle with the best smell - bear fart or moose fart are the go tos!
