We couldn't have picked two better people to plan our honeymoon! Lisa and Dan are extremely kind, have a clear passion for travel and their work is extremely thorough. There was not a detail missed! They also planned all our our excursions according to what we wanted to experience, which excursions had the best reviews and we had an AMAZING time! Where to even start? Our trip was delayed with Covid and Lisa was by our side the entire time handling all of the stress for us while we got to sit back and relax. She was able to reschedule our entire honeymoon to Ireland at no additional cost! We didn’t have to do a thing, just show up for our flight! The CIE tour to Ireland was incredible and is also highly recommended. Returning home, our connecting flight from Chicago to detroit was canceled at midnight. We had been at the Chicago airport for 12 hours and was beyond tired. Multiple flights were canceled that night, and there were no flights available for 2 days and no rental cars from the multiple vendors. At midnight, Lisa spent around an hour with no complaints and worked endlessly until she found us a rental car to get us home. Many others at the airport were stranded without cars but thanks to Lisa, we made it home! We are so thankful for Lisa otherwise we never would have made it to Ireland in the first place, and also never would have made it back! Highly recommended and will be using again!

Our trip to Hotel Zilara in Dominican Republic began in December 2020 when Lisa recommended, then planned our entire trip in September 2021. It was the best vacation we have ever been on and Lisa made it so. The VIP service through immigration, passing everyone, private transportation to the hotel, an awesome poolside room, and every restaurant, all the entertainment, and activities that she guided us to were fantastic. We met other couples in the pool who used other travel services and we quickly dismissed them, we will only and always use Lisa & Dan Mattern-Cruise Planners. Having Lisa plan our cruise made everything seamless. I always like to plan my own trips, but when a recent cruise was cancelled after I had put so much planning into it, I contacted Cruise Planners because years ago someone I knew recommended Lisa. That was the smartest move I have ever made. Lisa found a cruise with an itinerary that was perfect for us and the entire trip from cruise line, to pre cruise hotel, to cruise, to room selection, to excursion and flights--everything was perfect! I have worked with Lisa twice now and both trips have turned out amazing! My first trip was in August of 2021 to Mexico. I give her a two months notice and she planned everything perfectly. I asked her opinion on where to stay because I had never been. Also it was for my 57yr mothers birthday and I didn’t want it to be to crazy. She recommended the perfect place. Both relaxing and fun. We had a great time! The first trip was done so smoothly with a short notice, I used her again for a last minute trip. I contacted her in November 2021 and she responded so fast and planned my trip to Disney for Christmas 2021. She places in a great location and she has thought about everything even transportation to and from hotel. She is amazing, fast and very informative! She is forever my travel agent! Lisa planned a 10-day trip for my family to London and Paris. Great trip! With our group ranging in age from 14 to 70, we wanted to experience it all without spending too much time on a bus. With our dream list in hand, Lisa reached out to several different companies and planned a trip that included the highlights of both cities and still allowed us a little time to be "foodies" and "explorers". We had one little glitch due to traffic--and Lisa responded to my text at 2 am and helped us out. She is a 24/7 planner. We chose Lisa because of the great job she did setting up a bus tour of Washington, DC, for a large group of Detroit Shriners. She is one hard-working lady! Lisa planned a great trip for our entire family (6) to Universal. We stayed at a Universal resort, got express passes, and hit 3 parks over 4 days and stayed an extra day at the beginning and end lounging by the pool. It was a great experience and we'll definitely be calling Lisa to plan our next adventure.
